Baskin Robbins

Very disappointed with my visit today. I asked one of the girls working there if her cookies and cream ice cream had any coconut oil or tree nuts in it as these are my allergies. She told me she didn’t know. I asked her to look it up please in their ingredient list. She spoke with another employee and they decided they didn’t have a list. REALLY A MAJOR ICE CREAM CHAIN LIKE BASKIN AND ROBINS DOESNT HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY INGREDIENT LIST!!! RIDICULOUS!

I am a loyal fan of Baskin Robbins! It never fails in quality. Whenever I have a craving for ice cream or frozen yogurt, Baskin Robbins comes to mind first!
I just happened to notice this location right across the street from my job. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with an ice cream birthday cake. I was about to head to another one on Florin Rd. that I usually go to, when suddenly, as I was leaving work, I looked over to see it there! So convenient! I can’t believe I hadn’t paid attention to it before! I really need to remove my blinders!
When I entered, I also noticed that they share space with Togos (another favorite sandwich spot of mine). Togos is to the left side, while Baskin Robbins houses the right side of the room. I immediately headed over to the freezer section to see what cakes were available. The variety was limited, but the flavors offered still made it an easy choice. How can I go wrong with chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake? I almost chose mint chocolate chip, which is my favorite, but after all, it isn’t my birthday yet.
The employees were very nice in helping me and they even wrote «Happy Birthday» on the cake for free. While I waited to have this done, I couldn’t help but gaze longingly at the menu of all the delicious desserts they make and the mouth watering flavors of ice cream in the freezer case. Next to each posted flavor, they now let you know how many calories each one contains in 4 oz. Nice to know in advance if you are on a diet and keeping track of your calorie count. There were also non fat, low fat and «no sugar added» options.
It looks like I’ll be frequenting this place a lot more often, since it is on my way home. I might even pretend it’s my birthday more often too! (Minus the age part).
