Aimee is my go-​to person for massages. Her technique is excellent and effective, and always helps to relieve my chronic back pain. She listens to you and what your issues are and is very focused on addressing them during your session. She has a great energy and is just a very pleasant person to be around.

Kara is a God Send! She is able to read your body by touch, and heal you from your pains. She’s not just any masseuse, she is truly one of a kind with a true gift of healing. I normally experience migraines, severe migraines. And she is able to help me with it, relieving me from my misery. Kara, you have a forever client, thank you so much for doing what you do in helping me feel pain free!

I’ve been in 4 times now for massage sessions with Aimee. She’s tough enough to dig in and work out the problems, but with a gentle touch that doesn’t make you wince in pain. I’ll be back for many more sessions!

In town for another short visit, I was able to see Aimee for some work. She is fantastic! If you’re in need of some mobilization and pain relief, go see her — you won’t be disappointed. The new location is nice too, with a very relaxed vibe.

Simply love this place. Wasn’t having good results with my old doc. I came here and instantly loved the atmosphere and all the professional help I have received so far. Can’t say enough about Dr. Bean and his kindness plus his willingness to listen and provide a proper care plan. Also, Julie is the most knowledgeable sports therapist I have ever met, and her Functional Movement class is literally saving my ass. Last but not least, I saw Aimee for a functional massage, and this was simply delightful, helpful and relaxing. This has been the trifecta that has greatly helped 9 months of agony.
I’ll be making this a weekly stop for a long time.

I was referred to Aimee by my Ortho for range of motion issues from a broken elbow. Aimee’s background of PT is a huge advantage for her since she really understands the workings of the human body. She was able to break up scar tissue and stretch muscles so that in a few sessions I was able to have almost full ROM. I so appreciate all of her good work. I’m sure I would still be struggling had I not seen Aimee. Thank you so much!

I have never experienced a professional massage before so coming here was a little nerve racking at first. Once I met Aimee, I knew that I was going to enjoy my experience there. It is very well-​kept and everyone there is super friendly and has great knowledge about what they are doing. I am already looking forward to my next visit because this girl needs to get the kinks massaged out of her! Aimee has impressed me with her skills and experience as a masseuse. I hope Kara is a vampire, because she’s the only massage therapist I want to have for all eternity. I’ve been to many masseuses over the years, and she’s only the 2^nd one I’ve found who actually provides body therapy instead of just a body fluffing.
I love Kara’s new spot and the vibe created by her and her hand-​picked partners is an awesome experience to immerse yourself in.

I cannot say enough good things about Kara and Julie at Body Advantage. I first started going to Kara for a strange bladder condition. I thought nothing would work. She was able to move things around, and help heal my bladder condition. She then took me through my pregnancy with amazing prenatal massage. I believe that her massage helped me throughout my pregnancy to prepare my body for labor. My body was ready to give labor, and everything worked out with minimal pain. She is by far the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. She uses a technique I have never experienced, and she explains how it works, and how your body is healing. I highly recommend her whether you have chronic pain issues, or just want a relaxing massage.
Julie is also an awesome trainer/​physical therapist. She and Kara work in unison, tackling each problem together. She can take you through a tough workout, or show you the importance of stretching and foam rolling. She is also gifted in knowing how the body works, and maximizing its potential.

As an athletic trainer, I have worked with many healthcare and fitness professionals in town, and I can say with full confidence that Body Advantage is THE best place in Sacramento for a massage. Their new location has great energy and is the perfect spot for Kara, Julie and Aimee to do what they do best. Aimee has worked on me many times and she truly has the hands of a goddess. I’m constantly abusing my body with climbing, lifting, running, snowboarding and hiking, and Aimee always has me back in full force with one or two sessions. New, quiet location with roomier interior. Same fantastic body work and awesome personalities! Kara and Julie are super fun and know what they are doing. They are also dedicated to their professions. Kara Zunie is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. She puts my pieces back together, including my stress addled brain. Another great thing? She is certified in prenatal massage. Being currently knocked up, I really appreciate that. She’s also participated in a lot of births. I usually almost fall asleep and leave in a delicious trance massage induced happiness. My ultra runner hubby also loves her! Can’t wait for my next session in July! Go there. You will come back!

Had a wonderful massage with Aimee. She was able to target specific trouble areas with a sports medicine touch. I feel so much better after visiting her. I have not tried thai massage with her but I plan to do so in the future. The new location is great and I found the room peaceful and serene. Thanks for having a healing touch Aimee! Kara is the best. She can read your body and knows exactly what to work on. Oh and the new location is awesome.

Young dude. Hip injury. Many resulting aches and pains. Kara and Julie work together for a better quality of life. Was referred here months ago by 3 different sources and I’ll never shop around. Customer service meets results. Do yourself a favor.

I had a massage from Aimee a couple weeks ago and loved it! She worked on my upper back/​shoulders where I carry most of my stress. I left there feeling refreshed and relaxed. My back and shoulders are knot free. Can’t wait for my next massage.

I recently saw Julie at Body Advantage to investigate my mobility and to improve it.
She is fun and easy to work with. She is very knowledgeable about common problems that people have with their flexibility and range of motion. I plan to continue to see her to get my health back on track! Thanks Julie!
