Update-​13 June 2016-​New car park completed recently after the demolition of the old Al’s furniture. Car park is open so plenty parking available.

Drunk, ugly people are humans too.
1. They deserve to have a clean table.
2. They deserve to have proper eating utensils to go with their bowl of phở and noodle soup etc. Phở spoons people, not silver tea spoons like you’re eating ice cream! Omg like peasants we were.
3. They deserve a warm meal too so cook your gahdamn won tons throughly because that shit was raw AF. Nasty!
Dang they’re not animals, even though they do act stupid and barbaric most times. But I’m perfect and was sober so I know wth I’m talking about.
I’m not entirely dissing this spot… It has potential. I love late night cafes that serves hot Asian food mm comforting right? Who doesn’t agree so is a psychopath. However, last night’s experience was disappointing; should’ve gone to Yummy Café instead! I do appreciate our waitress’ hard working skills + patience [even though she has a RBF] and the busboy who constantly refill our water cups though.
I can put up with mediocre services and I guess I can put up with mix-​match eating utensils too, but don’t EVER f*ck up on my won tons again. Reppin’ for that low life–

This is a little gem located on the outskirts of downtown Sacramento!
We were getting both getting our oil changed next door at downtown ford and this was the only food option!
I’m not going to lie, I thought it was going to be a run down shit hole that smelled like a over used ashtray. … BOY, WAS I WRONG!!! NO smoking allowed, bright and vibrant!

Definitely good place to come for late night eats! They serve food until 330am. This place gets packed fast, So definitely come b4 all the club goers. So come b4 130am. Service is kinda slow, but eventually you’ll get your food. Food is pretty decent here and they have a full bar. When I’m here I usually go for the peppered pork or shrimp with fried rice. Those dishes hit the spot. If u want phở they serve that too.

This is for the unprofessional and not very well-​trained security guard that worked there 1÷6÷16 around 1am. An overweight black male security. I’ve been to Capital Casino a hand full of times and that’s because I’m always the one being dragged over by my friends. Most, if not all of them play poker there. It was late wed night around 1 o’clock when me and my 3 friends decided to grab some food there after coming from a bar. One friend went ahead and grabbed a table for us while I waited for my other two friends to get out the car. As we were walking in, the security guard stopped me and jokingly comment on me being drunk. So I laughed it off and smile. Like ok? Anyways, so I kept walking then he goes, «seriously, if it seems like you’re a little buzz or drunk I can’t let you in.» I’m like, excuse me? I asked him what made u think that? He said because I was wobbling in! That to me was so ridiculous because I was the actual sober one in the group. I’m not going to lie, i had 2 drinks hoursss prior! Believe me, I was calm and tried to explain to him how I was NOT drunk and that all we wanted to do was just eat. We were NOT planning on drinking more if that was his concern. I know he’s just doing his job but that was a VERY BAD judgement call. I was not slopping what’s so ever, my face was Not even pink or red! And to justify himself, he also mention that we were drunk because we took a LYFT there. Excuse me for being a responsible person and making a smart decision on my part. He was calling me out out of the 3 of us! 2 girls and 1 guy. You would probably think I’m the male in this situation but nope I’m actually one of the girls. My friends had more drinks than I did! Even if so, we all walked in casually… Like normal people. It was raining and maybe I did try to avoid the puddles outside? Maybe that’s why he assume I was wobbling? It’s funny because two guys walked in not too long after us and were obviously drinking. You can tell just by looking at their red faces. Umm and did he stop him? NO. Not to mention he said I smelled like alcohol. Isn’t the casino located in downtown? I’m sure 90% of your customer comes strolling in from a bar! Let me remind you, it’s only a wed! Wasn’t even on a weekend! He’s now making excuses to save himself. Of course I talked to the floor manager that night. She was no help and of course what the security says she can’t override. Understandable, if you’re all coworkers you’re obligated to agree with one other whether they’re right or wrong! I talked to one of the workers on the front desk and I thank her for hearing me out. I’m sure her and a few employees disagree with his decision. I think he was picking on me just because at the same moment he was kicking out 2 other guys that were already inside for drinking too much and decided to stop me because i just walked in. I honestly felt like he was going to change his mind but he didn’t. He’s a male and security guard. His ego is already high and taking back what he said will kill it. I hope the upper management see this Unilocal review. I would not lie about this and taking the time to write this detailed review. If this review mysteriously disappeared then no worries I’ll copy and paste it again. I want everyone to know what I experience that night. I want you guys to check the cameras that night if i really «wobbled» in. Cameras don’t lie. Such a bad judgement call. I was really upset and definitely gave him a piece of my mind. Such a horrible experience. Every time we eat there we actually take care of your servers. 20%tip sounds nice? Well not anymore! Believe me, this is going to get around.

I’m here after Park or Mix. Why is it that we’re hungry after partying until 2 am?
It’s small, but close to The Park/​Mix, so oh well. We just have to get here before the rest of the people after the club gets here. I try to avoid this place because I don’t want my friends to gamble. They didn’t card me, actually they never card me when I eat here. Maybe they think if you’re bold enough to walk in here, then you’re old enough lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
What I’ve ordered here: Thai red curry, the deep fried fish, chow fun seafood wet, phở, and the Kung pao chicken.
I think they were all good, not because I was drunk at the time, but I’ve eaten here sober before as well. It’s edible, it’s good, flavorful, and they offer a wide selection of food that any one can choose from but it’s mostly Asian based. that’s probably because it’s a card room and mostly Asian people eat here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk lol

I had to give this place 3 stars for the terrible service. It doesn’t matter what time of day you’re here, the waitresses are super slow and there is usually only one person working. They’re not great at prioritizing customers. We came in and we’re waiting for about 15 minutes before the waitress took our order. Meanwhile, she was serving people at the bar who came in after us. Maybe we should sit at the bar next time. There were 4 of us in our party.
Anyway, despite the terrible service, I come here all the time for their amazing Chinese food. My favorite dishes are the garlic peppered shrimp, garlic peppered fish, and seafood soup fun. My boyfriend particularly enjoys their chow mein. The Chinese menu doesn’t go into effect until about 5 or 6pm (that’s the time their chef gets in) and lasts until about 3am. I’ve ordered food to go in the past and the wait can be from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on service. The café has several TV screens so you can catch up on the latest sports. I would recommend this place for the food if you have the patience or don’t mind waiting.

They have the best Chinese food that rivals the best Asian restaurants in south Sacramento’s Chinatown. I only wish they serve Chinese food before 5 PM. The area of town is kind of sketchy, but the restaurant itself couldn’t be safer. Because they have the best food, and reasonable prices, all the local police, CHP and sheriffs deputies eat here which makes me and my family feel very safe. You couldn’t ask for a better restaurant, better service, or better food.

Terrible food, just terrible. I’m fairly certain everything is frozen and comes from Costco or Cisco Foods. Even still, those ingredients could be prepared with more taste and style. Absolutely not worth your time or money. Make the trip to Tea Cup or New Lai Wah. There simply is not one good thing to say about this place. Just skip it.

Clean great service delicious Chinese food. We had chow fun, grilled short ribs with veggies, and kung pao shrimp! Enough for us to all share with some left over!

Had lunch here today, awesome service and a very cool vibe. Sarah our waitress is really nice and awesome! We will be repeat customers for sure.

Love the food here, however it seems only Tonya knows how to take my order right. That’s OK though, still a 5 star review. Waitresses like Tonya make any restaurant shine!!!

Originally impressed by the exceptional ratings, I had to see what all the fuss was about. In the past couple of months I’ve now been twice and both times the food was absolutely horrible! The service is excellent and the location is convenient, but the menu needs to be updated and a new chef needs to be brought on board. During our most recent visit I heard a customer from another table order a steak that arrived under-​cooked, and 20 minutes later decided to cancel his order and leave when it never returned. Thumbs down on this joint-​sorry.

We (bf, bf mom & nephew) came in around 7:30p on 12÷21÷14. First off, I want to say the service from MY waitress (Anissa– spelling?) was Excellent. Food was yummy!
HOWEVER… I happened to turn around to see a ANOTHER waitress (Eva) eating over another patrons salad at the counter where the cook places the food after its done cooking. Straight up YUCK! The cook happened to notice I was staring in disgust and took the food down.
Other than that it is clean & comfortable to eat in.

I’m done. Not consistent. They used to serve a great hamburger. After previously being served a tuna melt that sat under the heat lamp so long that it turned brown, this last time the idiot working the grill over cooked all four of our burgers that were all supposed to be medium rare. He cooked the hell out of them and then just shrugged his shoulders when the waitress complained to him. later called and complained to manager. No more.

The steak and eggs were what i call Dennys food. The steak had so much fat, i dont think i’d order that again. Onmy second time, i orderedthe chipotle burger. The meat was overdone but still the burger was pretty darn good.

Love this place. Eat lunch here a lot and am very happy everytime with the food. The service is also great and all the staff is kind and attentive.
I would recommend it for lunch.

My food was cooked perfectly to order, do I have to say anything more?
The waitresses are sweet as pie. (Except when they neglected to tell me I could have the special because it was Wednesday! I wanted Chinese and they only serve it after 5pm EXCEPT on Wednesday when they take one item off the Asian menu and put it on the special! Arrrgh and it looked so good!)
Food was good, coffee was great! It’s a diner– diner ambiance!
Loving the thought of coming back and studying and… watching ALL of the people on bikes! Do you all have a bike give-​away center somewhere nearby here? LOL

I love coming here after a night of partying. So much better than fast food. You get a great hot meal. If you have a sweet tooth they have Red Velvet cake, cheesecake, of course chocolate and others.
I’m in love with the House Chow Fun and the crab won tons.
So when my Chinese friend said the food was good, how can you argue with that. She was totally right. I look forward to partying downtown just with the hopes of ending up here before home.

I usually end up at Capitol Casino Café after a night of drunken debauchery. To be honest, I never remember much when I’m here. I just know that if we’re thinking of Capitol Casino Café after a fun, drunken night… there must be something good goin’ on… right?
Oh wait, I do remember that I like their Chow Fun. And I do remember that it’s a very convenient location to call a cab. =) And one thing I know is. I’ll definitely be back!
