This is the most convenient gas station to my house, but I seldom go there just because their gas prices are almost always higher than other stations. Located on the corner of Elsie Ave. & Stockton Blvd., this business is spacious, well lit and well maintained. Lots of pumps are available, protectively covered from the elements. There is a drive thru car wash and a reasonably stocked attached mini mart. It seems I only go here when my car is on «E» or in desperate need of a car wash. Snacks, food or staples are of course higher priced too. Once, I had to buy some Tylenol in the middle of the night, and it cost about $ 2.50 for a small package of 2 tablets! Another time I needed air in my tire, and for some reason the air insert contraption didn’t fit right and it caused the air to leak out of the stem even more! Even the clerk in the store who was very nice to help me out couldn’t understand why it did this either. I ended up having to drive elsewhere on a soft tire to find another air fill station. It was a stressful search to say the least!
So all in all, adding a few good points with the bad, I have to give 3 stars just for the fact that it is a business with a visual presence, location and convenience.
