food is poorly made, fried rice is tasteless. and teriyaki meat was hard and chewy and salty. never eating here again. husband ask if he could buy a combo with sausage and teriyaki meat, they said no, husband offered to pay extra for the sausage, dumb manager and worker said computer doesn’t let them do that. stupid people and bad food.

I was met with the horrible customer attendance. The employee looks so tired and bored. I kinda felt depressed just being at the place. I was order #141 and it went all the way to #152 and I still don’t have my order. They never even asked me about my order! It’s 20 minutes and I still don’t have my order. This is the worst customer service and slowest place I’ve ever experienced! Go to Jolly Bee instead, the food is cheaper, better, & much much faster. I’m ending this and after 25 minutes, I finally got the order. Good Game Chowking, last time I’ll ever come here!

The older lady at the register needs to learn some customer service skills. First lesson: SMILE!!! She had the most sourpuss look on her face with no greeting at all. I ordered 2 wonton noodle bowls and 2 waters. Second lesson: focus! She put in my order, took my cash, and gave me change, all while also trying to help another customer. She didn’t get my waters, so I politely asked if I could have my waters now while I waited for my food. «Water?» she asked as if hearing that request for the first time. «Two please.» She was obviously put out because she only halfway filled up 2 Styrofoam cups of water and placed them on the pickup counter next to me, rather than handing it to me or placing it on the counter in front of me. And she still had a sourpuss face and didn’t say anything. I know this is fast-food, but it still requires customer service whether or not you want to be there. Her outfit was a little different than the younger workers, so God help me, if someone so lacking in manners and customer service, was actually the manager! My mom and I both enjoyed our food. I thought the broth was flavorful and the meaty wontons were really good. For $ 5 it was a nice light meal. Too bad that lady left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to the service.

We traveled a long way to visit this establishment and weren’t disappointed until it came time to pay for my food. All of the sudden my card was declined(I had funds in my account) and without thinking twice I paid with cash. Next thing I knew, my card was charged for the same amount I paid in cash. Be aware of this place as I had to file a dispute through my bank for this issue. Just imagine how many other times this place does this !! Beware !

Took 10 minutes for 3 halo halo and 1 Thai tea… When asked where our order was they had misplaced the receipt. If we hadn’t asked we would have to had waited longer… would have like a faster service for our drinks this is «fast food»

If I ever buy anything here it’s usually for their buku pandan shake. I used to get it every time I was in the area. It’s a green shake, and it’s super refreshing during the hot summer. Recently, I decided to try something new-halo halo. I’ve never had good experiences when it comes down to others making halo-halo, and this wasn’t any different. There was very little toppings-beans, flan, etc. It was like 95% ice, 1% toppings, 2% milk, and 2% ice cream. It wasn’t as sweet as I liked it. The ice had watered down everything. Also, the beans were so hard it was as if it was put in the freezer! I like the beans to b a little softer. This is an «ice dessert» but it was as if that’s all I got-ice! They need to find a balance of toppings, milk, and ice. If they can, add a pinch of sugar as well. Sigh, I guess I just gotta make this myself at home. At least I know how to make it they way I like. Their food is very boring. Nothing that WOWs me. However, their pandan shake is good though! If you ever come to Chow King, get the pandan shake!

The food is decent and the staff is friendly, but the wait time is unreasonably long. I ordered their fried rice and siomai. I waited for 40 minutes for my order and people who ordered after me all got their food and left pretty quickly. Step it up chowking

We came here today June 24,2015. My husband and me always come here for the beef wonton. But today is a very sad day. The broth was too salty that I have to strain my noodle soup just to get the beef and veggies. It was like I’m eating something poisonous. And the wonton was nowhere to be found, they look like tiny little boba pearls which is very frustrating. Those wontons used to be the size of golf balls, but I don’t understand why Chowking needs to shortchange its customers. I told the counter guy who took our order but he disappeared and did a little hide and seek with me. This review will not happen if only he took care of my complaint. Why does Chowking needs to get the endorsement of a «laos» president’s sister and pass on her outrageous talent fee costs to its customers, that i wil never understand!!! Wake up Chowking, get someone more credible and not a money hungry endorser so that relationships with customers will not be jeopardized. I think I’m done with Chowking for now until they pick up their acts together. The manager can contact me through Unilocal if he really cares. Oh btw, I wish there’s a 0 stars kind of review!

Ordered to go and they somehow put it down as dine in. I sat there and watched as 3 people who ordered to go after me got their food and left. Food was okay. But making me wait longer than I was supposed to after I said to go twice is not cool. Will not be back.

Stopped by here after I got my nails done because I was craving for Halo Halo. One of the worst one I ever tried. The ice was not blended all the way, I felt like I was eating ice cubes. Wish it was sweeter also, won’t be coming back.

Chowking is a Filipino based chain that also has Chinese food. The restaurant is located within Seafood City. I ordered the garlic chicken. The chicken was crispy and had a lot of garlic flavor. It also came with rice that had pieces of egg in it. It was relatively inexpensive, but the portion was small. If anything, I’ll only be back for desserts such as halo-halo or taho, which I’ve never had before.

This used to be my go to Filipino breakfast place up until I stopped craving it. Just yesterday, my bf and I had some time to kill and what better way to kill time then to eat? We agreed on a Filipino breakfast at chow king . First thing I noticed was that they no longer serve garlic rice ! What’s a Filipino breakfast without garlic rice? They’ve replaced it with wannabe fried rice. We ordered the tocino bangus bfast and the beef tapa bangus with a side of shumai and lumpia because the bf was craving shumai while I was craving lumpia with rice which is weird, I know. We shared a buko pandan Shake. Anyways, our food took a while to come out so I was already disappointed once our food arrived. My meal was ok, could’ve been better but, my bfs tapa was cold, dry, and rock hard. Our shake was super powdery and the boba was mushy with no texture. What happened to this place? They used to be really good imo. Their buko pandan shake used to be a lot better. I remember it having gulaman, good boba, whipped cream, and pinipig sprinkled on top. Don’t think we will be returning anytime soon after this experience.

This place is awful. My wife ordered the beef noodle dish($ 4.99), I had the 2 piece«Chinese Style» fried chicken plate($ 4.49), and an order of lumpia shanghai($ 3.49). It took awhile for the food to come out and when it did, I was told the lumpia wasn’t done yet. The beef noodle dish seemingly had just a little bit of noodles and a few chunks of meat. The picture advertising it looks great. But, the portion of the dish was so little, my wife was still hungry. She said it felt like she ate nothing and that there are more noodles in a package of top ramen. She noted that top ramen would have been better. The«Chinese Style» fried chicken was awful — might be the worst I’ve ever had. It was so greasy and there was not flavor. It was bad. It came with a scoop of fried rice, which was mushy and awful as well. We both finished our food and the lumpia still wasn’t done. I went to the counter and asked and the manager about it. It had just come up and he said he gave us some extra pieces because it took so long. We took it to go because we had already finished our food. In the car, my wife opened the box and some were burned and some not. She took a bite and immediately spit it out — it was still uncooked on the inside. I wanted to go back, but we were already on the way home. Don’t eat at this place. It was terrible. We’re hoping we don’t get food poisoning. We wasted $ 14 eating here.

Not so bad. If you’re looking for a quick bite before or after you shop at Seafood City, then this place is OK. But if you’re looking for a good Filipino food selection, then I’ll probably go somewhere else. OK, here’s my take on this place: Food — 3⁄5. The food they serve taste OK, but only serve mainly snack food and none of the usual Filipino food you crave for. Price — 3⁄5. Descent price Service — 3⁄5. Slow service every time we go there Restaurant environment — 4⁄5. Small but clean Bottom line, not the place if you are really hungry and craving for good authentic Filipino food. You can tired of their food quick, we did.

Located right after the entrance to seafood city. Cute little location. We ate at the chow king often in Leyte and loved it. So when we saw one here we were quite excited. My brothers got the beef wonton soup and garlic chicken plate. I tried some soup and I think it lacks a bit of flavor. But it was still good. Noodles could have been cooked for a little longer. The chicken was nice and juicy. Over all the boys loved it, ate all their food. And I’m sure we will be back to chow king

This place is really nice. When we walked into the restaurant, I noticed there were only a few tables, and a few of them werent clean. So, we asked an employee to clean our table. She gladly did and she was really kind. We ordered three beef wonton soups, two barbeque siopaos, six sesame balls, taho, and three drinks. The wonton soup was so delicious. It was just the right amount for one person. The temperature of the soup was really nice, but the broth was flavorful and delicious, but a bit salty. The beef was perfectly tender and cooked and it was so good. The wonton was very good too. The siopaos were great, very flavorful. The taho, just brought back memories. It was very enjoyable. The sesame balls were a nice finish of the meal. It was cooked perfectly and the whole meal at this restaurant was great. The employees here are nice. but the downside of this is the place is small and there should be more employees.

Chow king inside of seafood city. It’s like Chinese food mixed with some Philippine food. I got the chao fan with sausage(I’m not sure what it’s called) and an egg. It was good. I also ordered the garlic chicken and salt and pepper pork. They were alright, but pretty good for being at a fast food restaurant. For something quick and easy I’d probably come back. It’s cheap too. 5.99 plus soda.
