Now that the wedding is over, it’s time about time to review my vendors. Brides, stick to my recommendations and I guarantee you’ll get great service!!! I must say that I am particularly proud of this one, my cake ladies! It was probably about 4 months prior to my wedding that we’ve been blessed to have found Christine and Hoa, highly recommended by my cousin. Since they were the first people we’ve checked out for wedding cakes, we weren’t expecting much, but we were familiar of how couples normally go about cake-tasting. Prior to going over to Christine’s we checked out her website and gave her about 3 – 5 cake fillings that we wanted to try. And boy what a surprise it was when we came over!!! I tell you, with the amount of thought, care and detail they provided you probably won’t find their kind of service anywhere! Christine and Hoa were VERY hospitable. They had the whole SHABANG!!! Beautiful table top set-up with exquisite table linen and plates, champagne glasses, champagne and a menu(mind you!) for each of us from my party that were going to taste cakes! Everything was so well presented. They placed in 5 bowls 5 different fillings(white chocolate cream, chocolate bavarian cream, mango mousse, raspberry mousse, and I forgot the other), and 5 different icings to top the cake(italian white cream, italian cream with coconut and praline, italian cream with macademia crunch… and I forgot the other =)). Along with this, each of us had 4 different types of cake to try! It was so wonderful how we could mix and match all flavors until we find the perfect combo! In addition, there was an extra cake they made on the side that my husband and everyone loved! So yes, overall it was a VERY pleasant cake tasting experience like none I’ve heard before, followed by a discussion of what kind of cake design we wanted, all at a VERYREASONABLE price! We actually thought we would be paying much more for our cakes and were very surprised at how much they charged us! I’m sure you all know how expensive wedding cakes can be… I guarantee, you won’t break the bank with this! Our wedding cake turned out beautiful, just like the picture! We ordered a 3-tiered cake and 2 extra sheets with different flavors for each tiere and sheet. We weren’t expecting the sheet cakes for the guests to even be so beautifully decorated, they normally aren’t, but they were! They looked so delicious!!! And so many of my family and relatives the day after were raving about how great my wedding cake tasted, not too sweet but just right! I’ll see if I can post some pictures after this review. So if you brides want to save on a beautiful wedding cake with such wonderful and over the top service, we highly recommend you go to Christine and Hoa. They are such great people!
