My husband and I needed a number of old pulley windows replaced in our home in Tahoe Park. I called a few places for quotes, including D&D Windows. Darrel (sp?) came out to see our situation, and listened very patiently to me complain about the windows and had a good sense of humor about our frustrations with old-​school pulley windows in general. He had obviously helped a number of homeowners in Sac switch to newer, less rickety windows. His quote was much better than we were expecting after the last two quotes — my husband calculated it to 14.6% less than the second best quote we received.
After another weekend of pricing out window brands and companies, my husband was ready to just get the windows switched already, so we decided to go with D&D. A few weeks later, the day of install arrived and they showed up when they said they would, got all 8 of our windows swapped out by the end of the day, and didn’t even leave a mess for us to clean up. Super professional, and the windows are perfect. Better yet, they don’t get stuck open when you open them (goodbye pulley windows!). I honestly could not be more thrilled. Easily 5 stars.
