Dollar Tree Stores

This place is often crowded and the lines are often long but thats ok with me. They always have what aI need and prices are right. The parking lot is huge. I like the staff at this location– everyone always seems to be in a good mood despite their long lines of customers.

I’m really cool with this here $$ tree store, sometime they don’t always have what I want. They do run out of the popular items fast sometimes. Right now unfortunately the fridge is on the fringe and they don’t have the burritos that the hubby like. Actually I think those burritos are new at this store (the long burritos). At least they’re new to me! Never seen them here before.
I also notice that they have a few other new items (interesting)! The staff here at this store is pretty cool and consistent, meaning not a fast employee turn over (that says a lot about a business and management). They are usually very professional whenever there are any issues that come up. So I’ve seen! They do get really busy here at this particular store and I do like that the manager here always have back-​up to open another register when they do get busy, even if its her that will come out and help. A lot of the other $$ tree stores don’t open another register. And I hate being at a store with only two lines open and the store is crowded. My time is Valuable too! IJS.
One thing I’m finding out about all of these $$ stores is if you see something that you use a lot, get it while they have it or should I say get as many as you can because some items they sale they only have one time or like I said sale out fast. I don’t know what it is, but I get happy in this store by myself and when my husband is with me its twice as bad. He gets happier than I do!
The plan this evening was to grab a couple of items and look what happened. It never fails, this store gets a whole of your wallet and then you asking yourself what didn’t I get or what just happened to my money?
And if anybody elses households is like ours, as soon as we get home you starting a new $$ store list, because as soon as your’re home you realize you forgot something. On top of it all my husband has gotten my granddaughter into the coming here and she loves it too. She will tell you she wants to come here, because she needs her a new toy. Lol Still wandering why they call it the $$ store. You spending way more than that!

Dollar Tree… everything is a $ 1 or less! It’s dollar tree, I’m not expecting great quality things, but there’s some cool random $ 1 finds that you can purchase here for less rather than going to Target, Walmart, or wherever. I only stop by here once in a while for envelopes, gift bags, and random stuff or whatever catches my attention. This Dollar Tree is located way in the back corner of the shopping center, so it’s kind of sketch, but there’s plenty of parking spaces. I came in and was surprised there was someone that greeted me, so that was nice, and the cashier was friendly. This store is sort of clean and organized too. Overall, better than most Dollar Tree I been too, but I’m not expecting much anyways.

I only come here cause it’s close to where I live and it’s cheap. There are never enough cashiers with a huge line. Especially since the store is always crowded. The store is usually a mess and unorganized. And the staff could be friendlier. I’ve been ring up where the cashier does say a word to me except to tell me what I owe. No hi nothing. I think they need more training in the customer service aspect of their job. And I was being generous with the 2 stars.

Always find what I’m looking for at least half price of what I’d pay at the other stores. That alone is enough to make me come here, but the staff is super cool as well, so it’s a win win for everyone!

I tried to exchange some UNOPENED bags of lollipops. TOM says I couldn’t return FOOD because it’s a health issue. I’m pretty sure I’ve return unopened things like bags of unopened candy. I left annoyed. Checked their website policy which said NOTHING about food items:

Although it was a seasonal item it is not yet Valentines Day AND that wasn’t his excuse/​issue.
I called another dollar store in Elk Grove and spoke to a manager who said I could exchange it since it’s not V-​day yet and it’s UNOPENED.
So… TOM, thanks for NOTHING jerk.

These folks are getting it together. The shelves are stocked and better organized, there are more cashiers and they’re friendlier! I got a little frustrated when I couldn’t find tortillas but Nichole saved the day! Good day for the Dollar Tree :)

I’ve been coming to this location for about 2 years since moving to the Pocket area. I must say I expected better, but whatever, it’s Dollar Tree. You definitely get what you pay for, including THE STAFF, which are UNPROFESSIONAL. It seems like they hire people who are either on financial assistance, or half way houses, or something, I can’t call it, but the selection is pretty OK when it comes to quick items, but the other Dollar Tree on Stockton near Walmart is better in my book! Better employees too, along with a better selection of items, including extra items not included here. If you’re going to spend more than $ 5, it’s worth driving a little farther for better service and selection.

I rarely come here, but when I do it’s for gift bags and tissue paper. They have a pretty good selection of gift wrapping paper, gift bags, balloons, cards, and other party décor. It’s cheap and gets the job done.

This is the only dollar store nearby my house and well it’s alright. It’s kind of ghetto inside due to the people in the area. you can catch it when it’s not a packed. The only problem is when it’s packed there are only 2 registers open and it takes forever. I only go here if i need something for an art project or so that may be cheap there.

Ignorance everywhere.
Store is messy and unorganized.
Doesn’t offer items that are offered at other locations.
No one is ever available to cashier or assist.

A verrry iffy three. This place is ALWAYS packed to the max, and the line is halfway down aisle four. Yes, the line, as in they can’t figure out to open up more than one register, because the Dollar Tree reallllly needs a greeter to stand next to the door telling people they can’t take the rolling cart out because the wheels will lock up.
They have a good selection, mostly, but they have no produce section like the ones I’ve been to in LA. That’s a drawing point for me, for obvious reasons. And I don’t know if I’m being very judgmental lately or just realistic, but it seems as though Pocket-Greenhaven’s fattest citizens consistently shop here. Like, upwards of 250. It’s especially gross because a lot of them wear tops/​dresses that show like, 5 inches of cleavage.
Apparently it’s popular enough that they put Dollar Avenue on Rush River out of business. Still… ew.

As far as Dollar Trees go, this one is just okay.
Most of the time it’s kind of messy, but I’ve never been disappointed when I need the random party decoration, wrapping paper, or go on the occasional $ 1 candy binge.
Located by a Bel-​Air and Rite-​Aid, tons of parking. The area is a little sketchy. Juuuust a little.
Verdict: Acceptable.
