Purchased the Unilocal voucher which was $ 5 for a $ 10 credit. The lady and man of store rang me up for everything that I brought in and when I showed them my purchased voucher they said they could not accept it because they«did not know about it». I also purchased their Groupon which was a $ 30 credit for $ 17. I told them I would like to use that instead but they then informed me that the prices would be different to make up for the discount. Talk about a bait and switch scam. As of now I have a useless Unilocal credit and useless groupon since 1) they will not accept the Unilocal credit I purchased and 2) they have different prices for those who use a Groupon. BUSINESSIS A SCAM.

Alteration work was very good and cheap! I had both lined and unlined pants hemmed here. The price is the best I’ve found in town. I got the pants back in a week or less.

I purchased the Unilocal deal($ 5 for $ 10) and when I tried to use it, the woman working told me that it could only be used for dry cleaning and not for laundered shirts or alterations. Not the end of the world, but obnoxious when nothing in the terms of the deal state any such restriction. This paired with the fact that they regularly open 30 mins late on weekdays when I’m trying to drop stuff off before work gets this location 1 star.

I got my wedding dress preserved here. I was definitely nervous leaving my baby there, but it turned out great! I can’t remember the exact price, but when I called she quoted it around $ 150 including the extra to have it put in a box. That is actually way cheaper than most places. The only thing is the woman said they only take cash when I got there. So I happened to give her all I had on me, like $ 100 when I dropped it off and another $ 30 when I picked it up. I think I mentioned a deal I saw and she gave me $ 20 off. It was ready in less than a week.

I have not had any problems with this cleaner. The lady which is always there is very respectful, very sweet, and very attentive. She even fixed a pull on my shirt for free! The ONLY issue I have is that it’s pretty much cash only up front as I rarely have cash on me. Other than that, great service.

The nice lady that works here is very experienced as a seamstress and very accommodating. I highly recommend this well established dry cleaner. YMMV, but I have always had good experience here! A great Hollywood Park small business that we need to support!

Dry clean today is located in an old plaza. This is probably a place I would not have never though about coming to get my wedding dress preserved had I not purchased a Groupon from them. I actually paid $ 59 from Groupon and the lady charge me an extra $ 30 due to the long train on my dress. I was fine with that. It was still a very good deal. The lady promised that the dress will be done in a few weeks, however, when I called in, she told me that it will take another week. Turns out my dress gets mailed out elsewhere and it takes a few weeks for it to arrive back to the shop.

Know your rights and check the prices online before you come here! I walked in and presented her my Unilocal voucher — the lady who looked like the owner took one look and tried to tell me it’s expired. No it’s not — I pointed at the date on my voucher then she reluctantly accepted it, but tried to overcharge me for the items I brought it. Good thing I checked the price list online before I came in here(as there is none posted at this location, probably part of her scheme to overcharge customers). Even I was able to get her to correct the prices, it’s still kinda a hassle. I don’t want to have a battle with her every time I come in. So I’d rather go some place else where there is a price list posted and I can trust the owner.

Owner actually showed up 15 minutes late. I waited but had to go and put a crunch in my schedule. A woman in a Mitsubishi(i think) came in the morning, saw it was closed and left. Being 15 minutes late without any consolation discount offer and a lost jacket attachment have me looking for another dry cleaner.

Like most Dry Clean Today franchise, it’s usually run by one person. Service can be slow if there are others in front and since it’s prepaid, you better ensure what you picked up is what you dropped off. Make sure you count the clothes and not just the hangers. What I don’t understand is if it’s prepaid, why aren’t their prices cheaper than the larger chain or local dry cleaners. This place charged me $ 13.99 for a rain coat, and $ 10.99 each for two wool coats. I just called Swanson’s cleaner and they charged less than $ 10 for raincoat and the same for the wool coats. What’s with that? I thought prepaid would be cheaper… so I decided to check the corporates website and the price list states that all coats are $ 6.95. She overcharged me for three coats. I will have to write to corporate and find out what’s the deal? I don’t know it’s this franchise thing or she is ripping us off. But I would never come back again. Here’s the update, when I called corporate to find out why the big difference on the pricing, she said this Dry Clean Today is independently own and has no affiliate with the other DCT, so she can charge whatever she wants. Corporate also thought it was high too. My husband dropped the coats off for me, but if was me, I would have walked out! Sorry, too much for my budget. NOTE: I also informed Corporate to remove this DCT from the list and also update their price list.

The strip mall it’s in looks dirty and abysmal but when you walk into Dry Clean Today, it’s bright and it looks nothing like you would think judging from the outside. The prices are moderate and no one has ever asked me if I wanted starch until this place. Based on that I would rate higher but upon picking up my clothes, seeing creases and indents in the clothes where there shouldn’t be brings it back down to A-OK. The lady there is very nice and it looks like the clothes are done offsite.

Consistent. Reliable. Honest. I’ve been taking my clothes to DCT for years. Becoming a VIP member means you drop off your bag of clothes with a wave and return a few days later. Your credit card is charged. Poof, done. I like that. And I believe it’s incredibly cheaper then its competitors(It’s been so long since I started going, but I think that’s why I did!) They send us coupons by email too! In this store, I find the folks very nice. We’ve had occasional credit card charging problems there and they’re very nice about reminding us to bring in the card. The new location(used to be at the corner of Sutterville & Freeport, now closer to Fruitridge on the east side of Freeport) is SOOOO much better because you don’t have to deal with the shopping center. If you leave your ID in your pants(which I’ve done) they bag it and attach it to your stuff.
