I haven’t been to the restaurant inside the building, but they run the best hot dog cart on Capitol Mall.
They sell hot dogs and red hots at the cart and, unlike the other carts around downtown where the dogs are steamed, they actually grill the meat and buns while you wait which gives them a great flavor.
You can also get a combo with a soda and a bag of chips or a bag of cookies and they’re always looking for suggestions on how to improve their service.
So if you’re like me and sometimes crave a hot dog for lunch, check out the yellow hot-​dog shaped cart in front of the Federal building at 6th and Capitol Mall and get the best hot dog in the downtown area!
