FiX MY COMPUTER! Service & Repair

My computer cd disk slot stopped reading my CDs and DVDs so I got on Unilocal to decide the best place to go. And I decided to go with Fix my computer after all the positive reviews. I called and spoke with Phillip he had my computer fixed and ready the same day. The total cost out the door was $ 80.00 when other places want to charge anywhere from $ 129-​$ 200. I will continue to do business here. Thanks Phillip!

I just found FiX MY COMPUTER! Service & Repair and I love the service from Adam and Randee. Let me tell you why!
My wife’s HP Pavilion graphic card went on the fritz and because of the laptop design a new motherboard was required to fix the PC.
I called HP service and they said it was too old to repair and offered to sell me a new one. I took the problem to Best Buy, Geek Squad and Staples and got basically the same answer from them all:
* they had to send the PC out to ‘somewhere’ to be repaired
* they wanted a fee of $ 40 to $ 80 to confirm the diagnosis
* I would be billed up front for the diagnosis but it would count against the final repair bill if i chose to have them repair it!
* none of them would guarantee that I wouldn’t lose any data on my hard drive
* they all said that the repair (replace PC motherboard) was a minimum $ 300/​$ 400 and all wanted me to buy a new computer.
I didn’t want a new one right now.
Then I discovered Fix My Computer conveniently located next to the post office in South Land Park just minutes from where I live. Their diagnosis was the same as the others (graphic card bad which required that I replace the PC motherboard). Their diagnosis and estimate was free with no strings and the repair would be done on site in less time and for less money. No worries about data on the hard drive.
The initial quote was for 10 days turn around, but this got extended when their vendor sent them a bad board. They had the vendor expedite a new working board and took an extra 4 – 5 days to complete the repair. They were also able to offer me a loaner for that extra time period.
Randee and Adam are competent, ethical and a real pleasure to deal with, plus they are local and the money you pay stays in Sacramento.
I love them and will send all my future business to them. I highly recommend them for any network of computer repair needs for individuals or businesses.

I thought I had broken my DVD player on my laptop and when I went to Fix My Computer they were extremely helpful, polite, and resourceful as I had forgotten there was a DVD in the drive and it had gotten stuck in there and I was amazed how Randee, the owner, was able to fix it in no time. They have low fees and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for their PC to get fixed!
