First time here, excellent service. Food was good. Wasn’t able to spend as much time as I wanted due to a unexpected busy morning but will return again.

Love this place… you want breakfast? This is where to go. The people are great… especially Jen and Michelle. The food is great… especially when the white guy is cooking. I love the«fruit roll up». They have newspapers and lollipops. There are Tvs turned to major news.

I came here with my client and her family/friends after the Komen Race for the Cure last weekend. The pancakes were alright, not what I’d call special. Especially not for a place named Flapjack’s. But the steak and eggs I had were really good, but it did take forever to get my coffee, then forever again to get a refill. I’d come back.

Went there Saturday for the Next-door Stammish it was just like the old days when I was a kid and it was Walt’s. Had a nice time chatting with Frank and his wonderful children. Thank for the memories. Been going there since the mid 70’s. Only thing I wish they were still a 24hr dinner.

We first came to this restaurant b/c the breakfast place by our house closed: country Waffles. Truth be told we followed our favorite waitress Jackie. We always request Jackie. She is AMAZING at what she does, and treats our little man like a king. ‘King Vinny’ lol although we are her regulars, she treats every table w/the same urgency & personal service. I see the other servers also work hard. Although they are not our Jackie lol they take a lot of pride in providing great service. If you’re looking for good Ol comfort food breakfast w/legit service– this is your place. They do not disappoint.

This place isn’t as close and convenient for me, but we stop by there whenever we are close by the area because their breakfast is wonderful. Service is always great and you are always well taken care of.

This is where the LOLs go! I can’t wait to have breakfast at this restaurant again! Why? Because this is where the LOLs go! Yes, the little old ladies – and I think they have great taste when it comes to diners. I went on a Sunday when not just the LOLs were there but many families had come in their Sunday best too. There was a little bit of a wait so I assume it’s like this every weekend. The menu has the classic diner breakfast favorites but what I really liked is that there were some specials that were«special.» I had the Portobello Omelette which is only available on Sunday. It was scrumptious and satisfying. I like that they have unpork sausages and bacon as options too. Prices aren’t super cheap but I feel that we paid for what we got, not to mention great service. BTW, the décor – fabulous, 60s original rock wall with plants and waterfall in full affect.

Customer service is not that good, I had to repeat myself many times to order, like im in a depth community or something. I swallowed something from the milk they gave me, and I don’t wanna goes what it is. And I sure hope it’s not what I think it was. Not coming back.

I grew up at this place as a kid when it was«Walt’s». I still live in the area but had never eaten here since it has been“FlapJacks”. I went for breakfast yesterday with a friend and both breakfasts were excellent and so was the waitress. All staff was friendly. Was very busy and as we were leaving at least 10 people were waiting to be seated and eat. We ordered: Me= 2 egg veggie omelet. It was loaded with fresh veggies and cheese. Included yummy greasy hash browns and toast. My friend= Biscuits/gravy, scrambled eggs, 2 bacon, potatoes and toast. Will be coming back to try again!

Hometown cookin! Great diner food. The ladies who work at flapjacks are friendly and quick. Gino and Frank have great cooks in the kitchen. The homemade fries are spot on. Great club sandwiches and B&G.

Love their food. !! Especially the farmers jack skillet. I usually order online and pick up I would give 5 stars but they seem to always forget the potatoes. I have dine in several times always extremely busy but quick service. Overall great place.

Yyyeeeaaahhhh. I couldn’t even eat this food. The country potatoes I ordered were just potatoes. They didn’t have the onions or peppers that make them country potatoes. On top of that, they were soggy from floating in some sort of oil(likely canola judging by the iffy taste). The waitress was friendly enough. The atmosphere was pretty quiet. TONS of old people. They had Fox News on. This wasn’t my first choice of eatery and I wouldn’t recommend it to other people. The food was sub-par and the service was unexceptional. Oh, and it’s really typical American food: steak, fries, chicken fingers, omelettes, etc.

Went here on a Sunday for breakfast. Ordered pancakes, eggs, toast and hash browns. The hash browns were to die for, the rest of the food was only ok. Considering how busy they were the service was superior, a well oiled machine.

There were lots of flies inside this restaurant. The staff touches the toasts, coffee grounds and themselves with their bare hands! The turkey omelet was pretty bad. My English muffin was burnt. I gave them 3 tries and their customer service is fantastic, but I don’t think I’ll return to this restaurant.

The eggs are cooked perfect every time. The flapjacks are delicious too. The staff is lovely and the place is full of regular customers. I love the mid century architecture of the building, it’s vintage Sacramento at its best. The cherry on top is that they also have wonderful diner coffee.

Lots of great choices on the menu and looking at other what other diners had chosen made the choice a little more difficult. After looking at menu, we felt that first choice should reflect name of business and chose flapjacks. Also came with eggs and bacon and the 2 flapjacks covered a plate. The only thing lacking was room in my stomach to finish last 3 bites of pancakes. The cakes were fluffy and flavorful, bacon perfectly crispy and eggs cooked as requested. Turns out I had driven past several times but now that I know where it is, won’t be making that same mistake again. It appears that a lot of regulars come in. Don’t let the unobtrusive outside tempt you to try a more ordinary place.

Country Waffle on Fair Oaks closed and I have been going to Flapjacks instead. Im happy to see all of the Country Waffle staff have come over here. The food here is quite tasty and of very good quality for a coffee shop. Prices are reasonable and its always easy to get in and out of here quickly if you need to. Parking is very plentiful and easy as well. Check it out, you wont be disappointed!

I’ve been here quite a few times, it’s got a touch of the 70’s and delicious fatty food. I have never been disappointed coming here, it’s in a nice quiet little shopping center off El Camino and it is wonderful. A lot of the customers are seniors since they have pretty cool senior deals but mostly the place looks warm and comfy. The food is always delicious at pretty decent prices — if you’re not really into oily food I would suggest the light menu or another location. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming. A lot of older women who are chatty and friendly but always around if you need more coffee or condiments. The cooks literally talk to everyone and yells in hellos to customers walking in. If you love breakfast food then this place is definitely a little gem in the rough.

Tried it for the first time yesterday, we called ahead for a to go order and I must say I was not impressed. I worked at fine dinning restaurants for over 7 years so my expectations may be a little unrealistic, but you should at least have the basics covered. The staff was nice, but there was one person in particular that completely grossed me out. This kid had dirty long hair, really dirty shoes, and his uniform was dirty as well. If you allow your staff to look like that, then what can you expect about the food??? Talking about the food, unfortunately not impressed they need to work on taste and presentation. Everything was flavorless, I had to season my eggs after the fact and that never goes well. Sorry to say I will not return to this place.
