IHOP

Always friendly service, hot coffee and delicious food. We go there every weekend and if there’s ever a problem then we get it solved by getting a replacement or knocked off.

My friend and I walked in at 8:48pm tonight, which is Thursday January 7^th. We were told that they were closed. Uh… what? Your sign says open till 10pm. What the hell?

So i came to this location on 12÷19÷15 and the server that seated us was awesome and handled it great. His name was Sean. The only thing i didnt like was the female working with him this night, i believe her name was Carlie. She was talking loud about other workers and how one touches her and she thinks its weird. She was being loud about her boyfriend and how hes a drug dealer and how she was about to break up with him. I dont think that’s very professional of her to talk about. She was also cursing a lot and there were children present. Hopefully shes not here next time i visit.

Food was good although one of the meals had no salt in anything but that was fixable. The waitress was bad needs training in service. She walked us to the table and walked so fast we lost her she walked off somewhere else so we just looked at the tables and found one with new menus and figured that was where we needed to sit. Then while taking our order we were told on the item we can’t replace the pancakes with toast. But I have been here several times before and know there is an item that they can be replaced with. She should have mentioned that to us instead of just saying no. After receiving our meals from wonderful waitress (Gina). Norma the bad server brought us the check when we barely started to eat not nearly done. I also showed her the birthday coupon of mine for the rooty tooty fresh and fruity and she still put it on the bill for payment.

I’ve been going here since I was a child. Never in my life have I seen a cockroach there, until today. There was a cockroach crawling on the side of the seat. I let the cashier know and she apologized and said she would tell the manager. I lost my appetite and immediately left. I will not be going back.

The water taste like it’s from the toilet and the steak has no taste I’m never going back again.

They are racist. We were there for lunch today. We sat down before 2 other tables (Spanish customers) and ordered before them. We waited 40 minutes, but our orders still didn’t come. However, both of those 2 other table’s orders already came and one of the table even finished eating. We asked the manager why orders were taking so long and why the other 2 tables came and ordered later then us and their orders came and one of the table even finished eating. The manager’s reply was, they were busy due to the holiday and our orders are coming up, then walked off without explaining why the other 2 table’s order came before ours. We don’t think they were treating us Asians fairly, so we walked out of the restaurant too.

I’m not gonna lie. I came here for free pancakes… And so did everyone else. I came for lunch and there was a 10 – 15 minute wait. The restaurant isn’t located in the best area, and I found some of the customers and waitresses to be really rude. Luckily we had a really sweet waitress, who was more than helpful. I was honestly really surprised to receive such great service here. I rarely frequent this Ihop, or any Ihop for that matter, but this one in particular never had even decent service. But our waitress today was exceptional. However, her superior service could not help with the quality of the food. Everything was below average. The free pancakes was probably the best thing I had, but it’s hard to mess up a pancake. I most likely will not be returning. Even for free pancakes.

The food is decent and up to what you expect from IHOP. Not saying much of the food beyond meeting expectation. But my reviews are usually heavily on the service I received and I wish I could give this location their own because they deserve five stars. My first few visits, I notice it was a bit slow and grew impatient at times but my wife loves some of the menu items so we kept coming and I noticed the same issue with the speed of service. Then my visits in 2015 I started to notice what was contributing to this flaw. These servers are clearly over worked! This place is always packed on weekends and there just isn’t enough servers. They are constantly moving and going, and never stopping. Even the host has to get out and serve as well. Then it seems there’s only one bus boy (hope I spelled that correctly) and he’s cleaning as fast as he can but tables are backing up when there’s a high exit rate. Which I noticed the the host had to help him in order to catch up (was not his fault in any way).
I’m hoping a manager figure or someone in higher position at IHOP is reading this. Either you higher more hands to help go around or raise their wage above minimum wage, because to do the work I constantly see them do is not «unskilled.»

I called at 12:39pm to make an order for pick up. This lady asked me for my name and my number then asked me what I wanted I ordered sirlon steak tips dinner she put me on hold for 2min then said ok do you want a salad with that? I asked do you have chicken noodle soup she said no we only have potato soup I said Ill have that instead of the salad she said ok its going to be $ 12.59 (which was weird cause its usually $ 13.05) so After driving I arrived to pick up I guess she was the manager was standing there and I said I ordered for pick up she said your name and then asked me what did you order? I told her and she said well we are out of steak tips give me a second she starts asking and ends up telling me Maybe I called a different place cause no one has called to order! Made me waste my time and gas. Last time I ever order from here I rather drive to another place! Even 1 star is way to much. I have there number on my phone and they end up telling me maybe i called somewhere else. Worst place ever! Soooo disappointed!

We used to go to this place all the time, but they really need to clean this place. We have stopped going to this place because of the roach crawling on the sit. I figured it must be touching the food too. The sad part is the waiter was not bothered about that and she wanted to pack our food to go. I hope they will do something about this.

I’ve came here a couple of times before and now this time it was bad. Our server brought our water and just placed it on the table while not acknowledging me and my girlfriend and also talking to the customers seated next to us. Then she would take our order and not write it down, I don’t know why they never write down the orders anymore, but after 5 minutes or so she came back and asked us what we ordered since she didn’t write it down. What a sucky ass server… her name was Jasmine I’m never coming back!

I tried their July 4^th pancakes at the time special. You get to order a breakfast dish and it comes with their famous pancakes. So I ordered the scrambled eggs with sausage and this Banana Crème Strawberry Pancakes. It was delicious. It was so good, I couldnt chow it all down.
The regular scrambled eggs and sausage was ordinary but still good to eat. So I had a good time that brunch time. The waitress was very accomodating and kept on coming back to refill our drinks.
Not bad. Clean place and nice workers.

The servers are usually very good, but the quality of the way that the food is cooked and presented varies daily. I realize that it’s IHOP and not a gourmet restaurant, but burned food «not blackened» isn’t acceptable anywhere that I know of.
The restrooms are ALWAYS hot and muggy. POOR ventilation. Smells like old human waste and the steamed privates of 80 unwashed adults!
The trash is usually overrun and the countertops are usually wet with random strands of hair in it.
BOTTOM LINE: They are not clean and well-​maintained.

Man? They are pretty sure going down the hill, have been to this location for 5 years and their service getting worse everytime.
This time we got blueberry cream pencakes to go and they didn’t give us plastic utensils, so I can eat in the car and the worse is no syrups, really!!!

Love the food and the express costumer service all tho on weekends it gets pretty pack it’s fine is worth the wait.

I’ve never really noticed this IHOP location before even though for almost 3 years I worked quite close by. My dad was the one who took me here b/​c we were coming to celebrate his birthday and he had a free birthday breakfast to redeem. The staff’s pretty nice. Our server was attentive, but the food was just AWFUL. Everything was SO greasy and salty.
My dad ordered some kind of senior citizen breakfast and added a soup and then I order some kind of turkey sandwich. The bread used in my sandwich was covered with a layer of glimmering grease! I was hungry or else I don’t think I would’ve eaten it. Maybe I should’ve sent it back. The side of fruits that I ordered were not fresh at all, seems like they were defrosted type of fruits — a few cubes of watermelon, cantaloupe, and pineapples. Even my dad said his food was really greasy and salty and he usually doesn’t complain.
When we got the check we saw that we were overcharged for the add-​on soup. They charged us as if it’s a completely different soup order instead of an add-​on to my dad’s meal. I brought it up with the manager when I went to pay and he said add-​on soup is only available with dinners and not with lunch (sounds like BS to me) and I said well, no where on the menu was there a disclaimer about that, so he said, «Ok, I’ll fix it this time as a courtesy, but that’s how it is.» I really hate when stores/​restaurants are in the wrong and yet they feel like they are doing you a favor fixing their mistake. Oh well, now we know that we shouldn’t come here anymore in the future.
Not sure if it’s every IHOP or just the cook at this particular one who makes everything super salty and greasy. I usually go to the one in Elk Grove (but literally like once or two in my life time so far), and I hope that one serves better food. Prices were also quite high for diner food, I mean, geez, it’s just a diner when you get down to it and everything was over $ 10. I much prefer Denny’s in every way.

I’m not sure why I had never thought about coming to this IHOP, i guess there’s just something about Florin Rd that makes me avoid all eateries on that street. Well, my daughter and brother were hungry and I didn’t feel like cooking so my gf and i decided to stop here.
Let me just say, BAD decision. Not only was there only one waitress helping the whole restaurant, but she had a sour attitude. It took 20 minutes after we were seated for her to come back and take our order. Then when we finally did order it was a whole hour to finally get our food. That didn’t really taste very well, even if it is only IHOP. In the time it took to get in and out of this place it would’ve been plenty of time for me to cook at home, what a bozo move eating here.
P. S. The restrooms were a hot mess! Paper all over the WET floor because one of their toilets was overflowing. I had to wash my shoes after that. EW.

We came in on Sunday for breakfast. I must say, for the longest time… I’ve had the best customer service here. She was a complete sweetheart. She knew all the locals who constantly came in. She made sure she made her rounds at the tables to refill drinks, and provide anything that was necessary. I wish I remembered her name. :(
The food was pretty good. I wasn’t disappointed. Ihop will always taste better than Denny’s to me, that’s hands down no questions asked. They have new menu. But it must be because I haven’t gone in a long time that I just realized it.
Definitely recommend.

Came here for breakfast and I must say that the staff was awesome… Everyone greeted me like I was walking into cheers.
The only problem with breakfast restaurants is the prices of breakfast
