Food is good but not worth the long wait! Especially with a hungry stomach, you might as well leave.

I ordered the breakfast combo(fish & eggs). The food was ok, nothing special. I asked for coffee to go with my breakfast. However, they told me they are out of coffee and will not be making anymore and I just have to order something else.

Before I review anything, there’s just one question I asked myself after I are here yesterday. How the hell are you located in a Filipino grocery store, but not be able to make good(or at least decent) Filipino food? That boggles my mind. So I went here yesterday to shop at Seafood City and decided to grab a bite to eat. I’ve eat at chow king before, and it’s always been decent at best. I haven’t eaten here in a while, but decided to give it a go yesterday. WORSTFOODDECISIONIN A WHILE! I ordered the garlic chicken chef special. And let me tell you, there was nothing garlic about it. How the heck is it gonna be labeled garlic, when it didn’t even have a hint of garlic taste? On top of that. The chicken was overcooked or something because it was so hard to bite. I don’t know. I’m usually easily impressed with food, but this was horrible. There was no taste, it was hard, and just downright gross. My friends ordered the tocino and bangus plate, and they said that was«ok» at best. If there was a half star, I’d bump it up because their Thai tea was good… The Boba was just hard too, which probably means it was made the day before since Boba usually stays soft for a day after its made. Anyways. You’re better off eating at the Jollibee or other food places at seafood city. I wasn’t impressed with Chow King at all. I’m sure their halo-halo is good tho. That’s all.

they don’t deserve even a one star review! customer service was horrible. they don’t even acknowledge the customers! they need to fire everyone that works there and hire people that have great customer service skills.

I was invited to come to this place and… I’ll never go again. So I ordered the won ton soup. The soup was plain chicken broth, there was a lot of noodles that tasted like nothing, there was some meat in it where some of it wasn’t cooked fully and it had ZERO won ton in it! The only good thing about the order was the whole bowl was nappa cabbage. So I guess it was healthy with the whole bowl being tasteless vegetables. The service sucks too. I asked for a few napkins and they gave me one napkin.

Not even worth 1 star! Poor customer service!!! rushing customer to place order!!! rude cashiers and open the restroom using their key without knocking to alert the person inside!!!

I ordered chaofan with tocino for $ 5.99 and got egg on the side for $ 0.28. There is a generous amount of rice in the bowl and the food taste really good! Service is great! My wife and I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Decent tasting food, most of which is made to order so it may take longer than expected to get your order.

That wasn’t the greatest food… Seems like $ 5.99 for a plate was a waste. Food tasted like it was under the light for awhile. The only thing that was really okay was the rice(which I could’ve made myself)!! I won’t be returning one bit :(Customer service was horrible. We were waiting for 5 minutes while the guy behind the counter kept helping other people that kept going to him for a refill or clean their tables. And he kept looking at us too…

Ok even one star is pushing it. I wouldnt even give it any star at all! Everytime I come here they’re customer service sucks but sunday was the last draw. People on the counter obviously dont know how to greet customers or acknowledge them. Three people were walking by just ignoring my hubby who was trying to ask for soysauce and ketchup packets. One was even on her cellphone. She must have been on her break but irrigardless two other people were there and didnt even bother with eye contacts among the people who are asking for help. Ordering food is ridiculous, food is not even good. Its a far cry for being authentic filipino ur better off going to someones house. You guys need to prioritize and figure out how to run a business.
