Yum Cha is your typical fast food dim sum place. They don’t have the greatest dim sum, but you can get a fix at least. I find it worlds better than the dim sum in 99 Ranch. My kid likes the pigs in blankets and char siu bao, my boyfriend likes the shrimp balls and I usually order the BBQ pork rice noodle. I think those are each one order of three pieces for $ 1.69. Really what I like here is the mix fruit coconut drink. It isn’t overly sweet(for a dessert type drink). I like the boba and bits of mixed jellies. The ladies who work here are another plus as they are efficient, helpful, and seem to have a smile for everyone.

They were running a $ 1.59 per order special. I thought the sticky rice wrapped with lotus leaf was a great deal. Nevertheless, the BBQ pork is a different story. The meat didn’t taste fresh and the flavor was odd.

More like 2.5 fast food chain dim sum place more prominent in socal Located inside SF mart, this place is superior to the dim sum café inside 99 ranch in terms of variety, cost, and quality. Dishes range from 1.59−1.89 per order and they also serve boba. CASHONLY is the only draw back. thai tea with boba $ 2.50 too much ice and the boba tasted old. Tea tasted powered 2.5÷5 beef meatballs nothing special 2.5÷5 beef noodle roll the noodle skin was super thick not to my liking. 2.5÷5 shrimp noodle roll the noodle skin was super thick not to my liking. They also used small shrimp 2.5÷5 shrimp dumpling obviously previously frozen and not very tasty 1.5÷5 pork dumpling obviously previously frozen and not very tasty also 1.5÷5 Overall, not a very tasty dim sum place that only accepts cash. It is super cheap but you get what you pay for. Lots of variety for this to-go dim sum place that I might consider if I happened to be at sf mart.

I went this past Saturday and it was awesome! So many dim sum, noodles, and bbq selections to choose, from cherng fun to baos and from roast duck to won ton noodle soup –more than Ranch 99. The great thing about it is that there’s a pleasant worker willing to help you, not like Ranch 99, where it’s self serve and customers are taking their sweet time to choose dim sum.
