I made the mistake of not seeing the «unauthorized parking. vehicle will be towed at owners expense.» sign because I went next door to have lunch at New Canton. I initially thought La’mour Shoppe was New Canton because of how close the restaurant sign is to their building. After about 30 minutes, I left the restaurant and noticed my vehicle was gone. Come to find out, an employee named Tofu called to have my vehicle towed by H&R Towing shortly after parking (approx. 10 – 15 mins? Also, see my Unilocal Review on H&R Towing).
Unfortunately, the tow was illegal according to CVC 22 658 and 22 953 and the tow company has since processed the refund. Beware of parking here because you can be towed IMMEDIATELY!

L’Amour won’t stun you with ambience or a huge welcome (or much staff acknowledgement overall during my visit) but it’s got all the basics you need for a late-​night adult purchase. Their DVD room has plenty of interesting titles and a decent-​sized $ 9.99 sale aisle. Plus this is the first Sacramento adult shop I’ve encountered that has an animé shelf in their adult movies room… +1 from this hentai-​loving nerd girl!
Their toy section is decent and includes some of the usual brands you’ll find elsewhere. Their lingerie selection isn’t huge but I did notice like 2 clothing brands that I haven’t heard of before and/​or seen at other adult shops. I always love finding new brands to sashay around in!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, can’t go wrong. Not open 24 hours like Suzie’s but its close to home and open until midnight during the week and 1AM on Fri/​Sat.
