Went in today for my first tattoo, just a small one behind my ear. I was very nervous and scared but they were all SO WELCOMING! Jackson was my tattoo artist and honestly made me feel so comfortable. He was nice, caring, sweet, and gentle. He spoke to me as if I was his own daughter and that meant so much to me. The guys at Legacy are AWESOME!

Came here on Friday the 13th for a tattoo. Great service, done super quick, and it was overall a cool shop. The dude at the front desk was super friendly and I instantly felt like it wasn’t my first time in the shop. My tattoo came out clean and exactly what I wanted. Granted, it was from a board they had to chose from but still. Also, liked that it was like the only place in Midtown that didn’t have a 150 person list for Friday the 13th. And I appreciate that we went later in the evening and they were still just as friendly after a crazy day.

I was looking for someone to do a memorial tattoo in honor of my mom, who passed away recently. I saw Rob’s portfolio and instantly knew he was the guy. I came in to the shop with a rough idea of what I wanted, and he gave me some insightful tips and lent his knowledge as an experienced artist. Two sessions later and I have a beautiful piece of artwork that has so much meaning behind it. Rob is really down to earth and the whole experience was a blast. He is moving to a new shop (The American Tradition), and I will go to him if I ever want another!

10÷29÷15 again walked in to legacy with a vague idea if a tat, he walked me in and in minutes we were rollin… The whole legacy crew even got into the them of my tat with some gansta rap aha still the best experience you’ll find around

I walked into this shop on a whim based on the reviews here on Unilocal.I was greeted by Steve Trevino. He was very friendly and took my ideas and went to work. I came back an hour later and in front of me was something quite amazing. He took my simple idea and made something epic. A couple hours later, I had this gorgeous piece of art work on my arm. I am constantly stop on the street by admirers. Steve is a very talented artist and just a great guy. I am already saving for my next one with him.

Went here for my third tattoo back in December, and I love this place. Great atmosphere! Rob is awesome and does beautiful work. Came in, told him what I wanted and he took that and created the most gorgeous snake. He told me that snakes are one of his favorite things to tattoo, so I had no worries. I chose a painful spot (along my side/​stomach) but Rob made me feel comfortable and at ease. I will definitely be back!

Legacy tattoo has always been one of the cleanest and most professional tattoo shops in Sacramento. Jackson has defiantly set a bar for sac area tattooers. All of his artists put out equally amazing work. It is one of the few shops around that have tattooers that are perfectly capable of drawing custom one of a kind tattoos. I have been a fan of this shop for years. Thanks guys and keep up the great work!

My roommate and I went in and got tattoos today. I had Shrek, she had Rob. Both guys were amazing. The atmosphere was light, we were joking around the whole time.
Will recommend!

So my husband and I have a habit of eating lunch or dinner washed down with a beer or two on Folsom blvd then running across the street impulsively to get him a new tattoo. Today was a cover job and we ended up at Legacy with artist Shrek. To my husband’s good fortune! He had a much-​hated kokopelli turned into a honey bee masterpiece. Seriously, we can’t stop staring at it. Brilliant job, we shall return!

Walked in and didn’t really expect to get one done as soon as I did, gave him an idea of what I wanted, he sort of free handed my piece and next thing I know I was getting it done. I’m glad I went in, Did a cover up (much needed) and I’m happy with the outcome, cool place, cool people and Rob did an awesome job!

Went in for a consultation 2 weeks ago and met with Jason. Told him my ideas and left to let him sketch it out. Came tonight to get my work done. I am beyond excited! It is better than I could have dreamed. Shop is awesome, had a great time chatting it up, and Jason is flipping amazing! Will recommend to everyone!

Clean shop. Friendly artists that will greet you when you walk in. I didn’t have an appointment but, after 20 minutes I met with Jackson! Super sweet, easy to talk to and was kind enough to hook me up on his day off! This was by far my least painful tattoo experience! I recommend this shop and any of the artists in the building! Thanks Jackson, you’re a rawkstarr! Ha ha…

Writing this review on behalf of my friend Jenna. Rob did such an amazing job covering her previous tattoo and transforming it into a new fresh tattoo. He transformed her inferior phoenix into a gorgeous peony. She mentioned that the process was painful, but not too unbearable. Rob made sure to take his time and be as gentle as he possibly can.
