Gas is a rip off and the store is nasty too. I went in for a slush because it was a hot day. They had no special cups it seemed so I used one of the others. I go to the cashier and she charged me $ 3.00. She said she had to charge me more because my cup was too large. I inquired about what cup I was supposed to use and she said clear one. There were no clear cups. Not a clean store, not well kept. Rude cashier and I dont think I will be back again. I will drive further to avoid this place I was just desperate for gas. Even the slush was terrible, how can a slush be bad you might ask? When you drink and only get syrup and all the ice is left still in the cup…

I’m not sure who owns this store, but he should pay a little more attention at who he hires to run it. Ninety percent of the time it is run by a very rude and mean employee who in my opinion must spend his free time hitting a crack pipe. On many occasions he has pretended his behind the counter equipment isn’t working so he doesn’t have to do his job. I have seen him straight out verbally abuse customers for simply asking for change! How he doesn’t get his faced bashed in on a weekly basis is beyond me. Maybe it’s all his tweaker friends that are always hanging out while he works that keep him safe from harm :-)

I stopped here for caffeine the other day and was surpised at their cleanliness, organization, and friendliness. They seem to have a pretty decent beer selection, wine selection, and local(ish) nuts. I’ll be back when I’m in the area, I drive by all the time.

Valero prices are good, though the station is a little run down and not quite as convenient as you would think

This is the Valero gas station on the corner of Broadway and Riverside. At the pump, there’s an additional charge for using your debit card. but, none if you choose credit.

It probably helps that we live less that a mile from this gas station/store, but for late night snacks it can’t be beat. The people who own and work here are always nice and friendly even when we’ve come strolling in there in our pajamas and slippers. Their gas prices are a little high so we tend to go down Broadway to where it is cheaper, but their little corner store is crammed with a lot of stuff. Great place to stop for movie contraband.
