Would not recommend this office. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The doctors treat patients like cattle; apparently, bedside manner has gone out of style here. I saw one doctor (dressed like he was going sailing or yachting; not professional at all) tell a patient IN THE WAITING ROOM that his diabetes prognosis was terrible and things didn’t look good. Wow. Apparently, patient confidentiality isn’t valued highly at this place either. The wait was about 30 minutes on a slow day. Overall, stay away from Martel’s office like your health depended on it. Go to Eye Site instead.

Awesome eye care services and treatment. I have had serval eye problems and started with this eye group and only Martel Eye Medical group. This is an all in one place that anyone with almost any medical insurance group can go to for eye care in the opthamlogy field and optical field (sugaries and prescription for glasses/​contacts). For appoints or walk –ins.
Excellent opthalmalogists from very lofty backgrounds and the unique charecter is that both opthamalogist are brothers! THe staff are great, especially the back office medical assistents. The wait time was not that bad, but it is understandable when so many patients want to see the greatest eye care doctor in the area city and the norhter region of California.
The optical (optometry) side is five steps away in the same office in which you can choose from hundreds of different style galsses. Depending on which office you go to, the brands of glassses ranged from Timberland, Vogue, Ray Ban, Varsace, Armami Exchange, and many more.
Overall, the best place to go for eye care services. Dr. James is an awesome doctor who will explain virtually every single steps ot procedures he is doing to you.
