Mr. PIckle’s

Unfortunately this location has closed. As a Sac State student, I am saddened by this discovery because they had the best deal in the little shopping center for us. With whatever sandwich you ordered, you could choose between a canned soda or bottle water and grab a little bag of Lay’s chips to enjoy with your sandwich at no extra charge.
I honestly think Sandwich Spot ran them out of business and to a little to none traffic area of the center so that’s a bummer. In my honest opinion they made okay sandwiches, but I personally think that the one off J & 20 and the one in Natomas at the Bel-​Air shopping center make the best sandwiches in Sacramento so give them a try!

Love the Veri Veggie. The ingredients are fresh and pretty high quality. Way, way better than Subway. Plus a free cookie with every sandwich! I love Mr. Pickle’s.

Just like the location off of Gerber this location does not fail and might become my go to since its so close to home, and on the weekends when I’m not working I can come here. They offer the same great selection of sandwiches and great quality taste you typically get from Mr. Pickles. And with every sandwich you order just like at the one on Gerber you get a free cookie. The cookies are no joke, especially when their freshly warmed up. 0₀ eye opener for sure and taste bud slapper.
Since this place is right next to Sac State, if you have a one card, you get free drink and chips with your sandwich as well. What a deal I said to myself, (IF I went to sac state still) why were you guys offering that while I was in College SMH. But to all the Sac State Students out there, definitely jump on that opportunity, and don’t miss out on great quality tasting sandwiches.
There won’t be any issues with parking when coming here, despite that there are numerous other popular establishments near by, they parking lot is a good size to house all their customers. Also when your ordering your sandwich, I personally go with the wrap if your looking for something different than your typical bread. But if you are looking for a sandwich with bread they do have various types to choose from as well.

FOOD– fresh and good quality meat. AMAZING!
Turkey, House combo, pastrami, and tuna on DUTCH CRUNCH are my favorite. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of MR PICKLES! The produces here are always fresh and the pickles is so crispy. THIS REVIEW is making me hungry and wanting to order some soon.
Yes this is a typical sandwich place, but the customer service makes this place up a notch which is awesome. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever, everyone of them always greets me and smile! The owner of this place is awesome too!
This location is pretty spacey and has outdoor seating’s.

This location is close to school and you get a free bottled drink and bag of chips with your sandwich if you’re a Sac State student! Perfect to fuel a productive (or unproductive) study session. A warm chocolate chip cookie comes with every sandwich too. My favorite sandwich is the Big Jake with turkey, avocado, and cream cheese. At this location it’s called the St. Francis Troubie. Whatever it’s called, it’s delicious! Props on the service too; the sandwich guys were hilariously entertaining while I waited.

My wifes favorite sandwich place. I do have to admit they make a good sandwich.

I always order the tom turkey or reuben. Always good and one of the few places with dutch crunch bread.
Id give them another half star if i could just for the friendly staff and service

My favorite sandwich place! Dutch crunch, tons of toppings (including cream cheese), and garlic sauce? That’s a win in itself, and then you throw in a free cookie? Woohoo! This location has great service, but sometimes the parking lot can really suck!
It’s a bit expensive, so I don’t make this a weekly habit, but here and there it’s a great treat for lunch!

Definitely better than Subway, although not unbelievably good and irresistable.

Ive been here twice in three weeks and the service has been great both times. The staff is friendly, and my sandwich is made to order with NO errors! I like the bbq chicken melt on dutch crunch…
They messed up my sandwich once and put tons of mustard on it and the girl realized in the middle of making it the mistake: she apologized and was embarassed that she had just ruined the last of the dutch crunch they had and offered us a BOGO coupon for our next visit. Cool!
They seem to appreciate their customers and are very competent sandwich makers. Really friendly folks in general, and the place is kept clean.
