Forget Subway… Mr. Pickles got me hooked… the sandwiches here are way better than subway. The prices range from $ 5-​$ 8 for about a 8″ sub, but it’s packed with meat. I always order the #4 which is the turkey breast and bacon sandwich on dutch bread… it’s worth the extra drive to go here than to subway which is about ¼ mile from my house.

I rate Mr. Pickles above Subway but below Corti Brothers down the street. A sandwich here costs about $ 7 – 8, and I like that they print the calorie count so you know what you’re getting. I liked the garlic sauce and the Dutch Crunch bread. Customer service was good.
Sadly, they use fake chicken a la Subway. I’m quite particular about my meat. When I order a sandwich, I want shredded chicken breast, slices of real ham (not lunchmeat), etc. I simply cannot abide imitation chicken pieces. My free cookie was decent, though nothing to write home about.
I might go back and order something besides chicken.

Well i totally would have given them 5 stars if i wrote this earlier than last night. I really enjoy the fact that if you show them your one card you get a free soda/​water bottle and a bag of chips on top of the free cookie with the purchase of a sandwich. well last night i ordered my sandwich to go the number 2 (hang loose) and it was good i was enjoying it. but i felt a crunch. i continued to eat and my tongue slid on my teeth and at first it felt like something was in between my teeth. Unfortunate to say I chipped my tooth. eating a sandwich. from this store. that is all

My favorite sandwich place! They have this garlic sauce they put on… and the dutch crunch is sooo good! Satff is always friendly, you get a free cookie, and they give a discount to UCD employees! Win, win, win, win! The prices are high, so it’s not something I do all the time: but as an occasional lunch splurge, iI love it! Also, they let you call in your order ahaed of time, so you can do that when it’s busy!
