Came here for the first time about a week ago to see a couple of bands play. Drinks are fair priced, ceiling is cool, cover with old posters of bands. I was suprised they the air circulation was so good down by the stage for such a small area. Had a good time at this little bar will go again.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead but the bartender was super nice and the beers were cheap. $ 5 for a small pitcher of coors light. Karaōke on Saturday night apparently. Nice small outdoor area too. Definitely will come back by again.

Go here often for shows. Friend’s and(boyfriend’s) bands seem to enjoy playing at the venue. Typical tiny dive bar but always have a great time and the back patio is spacious. Never wait long for a drink.

I love this place. Bartender is the bomb and the energy here is great. I don’t go to many bars but this is the best one yet. People are kind and everyone smiles. Can’t put a price on that.

This bar is the definition of a dive bar! It’s tiny and dark and dingy and will most likely provide you with a fun night. I came here to see a concert with my boyfriend and friends and I was not disappointed however I was not impressed. I did like the outside area and this bar is within walking distance of my house so that is a huge saving grace for coming here in the future. I can see myself coming here and grabbing a beer on a lazy Sunday one day in the future.

Upon arriving, at night, it looks a little sketchy. When inside, everyone is nice and it’s a low key place. But don’t under estimate, there were some great entertaining singers in the house! Diverse song selection.

Cheap drinks? yes. We paid $ 5.50 for a beer and a cocktail. Super affordable! We went on a Thursday and they were having comedy night. Sad to say, it was super awkward and terrible. 0⁄10 would come back for the comedy. The crowd that hangs out here are more punk/older for us. But while the bar wasn’t our type of crowd, and I can tell that they are all very comfortable with each other. Everyone seemed pretty nice.

The best dive bar in Sac, hands down. Affordable prices, interesting décor, the people are down to earth and their Thursday night comedy(free) makes for a fun night out.

I’ll say more about this place in time. For now I’ll say that I’ve popped in on Saturdays occasionally, and I’ve enjoyed each visit. In my opinion Nikara is a class act KJ. She makes sure everyone gets a chance to sing a few songs. The small crowd there is warm and not at all judgmental. This is a small but friendly place and even the security is welcoming. If you haven’t been, check it out for Karaōke on Saturdays. (I rate this a 4.5 out of 5 stars.)

A bunch of friends and I used to come here and have drinks and karaōke it up, but lately the place has gone sour. I talked my coworkers into coming with me this night a couple weeks back. There was a new blonde tall girl who might have been on drugs, skipping people, and picking favorites, it took forever for my girlfriend to go but at least she was properly ready due to our stiff drinks. So we sing a bit, hang out. Around 1:50 the bartender, a man named Cory just comes around and takes our beers away. We’re like«hey what’s up!!! «he points to the drunkest person with us(who had actually had some drinks back at the office) and said, «I told him last call was coming soon and he just stared at me» Steve(the drunk guy) had no idea we were even talking to him the last hour or so. Anyways he took our drinks before two, I was upset even though I hadn’t ordered beer, since I decided we should come here and I was DD, so I just rounded everyone up and left. Never again.

Have been here a few times for karaōke and to just hang out with friends. Definitely one of the cooler dive bars in Sacramento. Staff is down to earth and this is definitely one of those no frills bars, but that is the reason why I love dive bars! Nothing fancy, just a cool place to relax and have a little fun with friends. If I want to go to a dance club to shake a tail feather, there are other places for that. Definitely will be back in the future for some karaōke and cold beer! Maybe a shot or two!

I decided to have my yearly karaōke birthday party at On The Y last night. The atmosphere was welcoming and the layout was awesome. The Karaōke hostess was delightful. Very friendly and engaging. Great singer, too. There were some technical difficulties at one point with the Karaōke equipment… During that time(about 30 minutes) some very heavy metal played — continuously — which is fine by me… but, sadly, that cost my party half it’s attendees, as they were there for karaōke, and that kind of music was not their cup ‘o tea. Still, the malfunction was unforseen, and overall the night was a lot of fun, the bar itself was very cool, and the crowd was happy and relaxed. Oh, and the drinks. Perfect, and decently priced, too. A must for the Karaōke enthusiast. I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been here a hand full of times. The bartender has always been this slender lady who is on non-smiling basis with the world, as I only seen her smile once, Not a big deal or anything. The bar has karaōke running pretty frequently which is fun. People did a handful of Prince songs when I was there, which I enjoyed immensely. They got a pool table as well. Overall a nice place to drink and see people sing and talk to people. I can dig :)

3.5 stars. I’m split between thinking this bar is average and kind of liking it. I went there for the first time on a Tuesday night with a friend around 9 p.m. We easily found parking in front and it was clear from just looking at the building that this place was going to be a total dive. The door was wide open, so we walked right in and sat at the bar. Our bartender checked our IDs once we sat down and then took our order. We got 2 large 24oz cans of PBR which came out to $ 8 total. I rarely get PBR, but my friend mentioned that was pretty expensive for PBR at $ 4 a large can. I noticed fairly soon that the crowd hanging out wasn’t my thing, but it wasn’t too big of a deal since I was there to hang out with my friend rather than meet new people. We ended up playing a game of pool which cost $ 1 in quarters and I was able to exchange a dollar bill for quarters at the bar. Overall, I won’t be running back here, but if I’m in the area again and feel like playing pool with a friend, I might suggest this place.
