Great customer service! So helpful in answering any questions I have. Its nice to go to a auto parts store where the staff actually knows their job. I will continue to come here for my car needs.

In all the years I’ve been shopping at retail, dining, or interacting with people in public I can honestly say this store has the absolute worst customer service of any establishment I have ever been at. This location is in North Highlands, so maybe that explains some of this. I’m not going to go in to detail, but I will say the manager(who boasted he’s been there for over 15 years) rolled his eyes to 3 separate customers — two in front of me and one on the phone — because of simple questions. Not everybody is a car person, surely someone who manages an auto parts store knows that. He talked down to those same people, which was more like belittling for not being able to explain the issues they were having. I was floored. I had to return the next day to exchange something and a tall beefy dude with tattoos could not have been any less enthused to assist me. He was very intimidating and had the same attitude as the manager with even worse mannerisms. Not only did he talk down to me, but he wasn’t grasping the simple concept between an exchange and a return. They’re not the same thing! The guy kept coming up with«Sooooo… what is it you want exactly?» like I’m not explaining this to him properly. How in the world two people who work in RETAIL have a god-complex is just unbelievably baffling to me. Guess what? You’re not better than anybody that comes in to your store for assistance — you work in RETAIL. I’m sure that’s part of the reason you’re so miserable and downright nasty to people that come in to ask you questions, but it’s still your job. Take some pride and put on a fake smile. This isn’t against all of those who work menial customer service jobs. I’ve had to do it; in fact I’d wager most people have at some point in their lives. You can get frustrated, but don’t take it out on innocent people that your life is pathetic and you haven’t blossomed in to a decent person who contributes anything to society. I’m probably giving this guy too much credit right now for letting his treatment of me linger as long as it has, but this location just needs to close. I will never shop at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store again after this.
