After a 14-hour shift and too tired to cook I decided to pick up dinner at Panda Express. The young lady across the counter mention that they were out of kung pao chicken and asked if I wanted to wait 5 minutes, of course I said yes. However, 15 minutes later still no KUNGPAOCHICKEN. Finely, a mgr… I think… askes if I want anytbi g to drink. What? I just qant my chicken please! She walks away. Ok, so I finelly get my chicken and off I go. If your expecting a happy smiling employee to greet you… FORGETIT!

Today was the second experience for the same issue. Place my online order to pick my food up at 12:45pm because I only have 30 min lunch break and I get there 5 min after my pick up time and the food is not ready. WTF really!!! This time today the manager tried to put the blame on the assoicate that it was her fault that she did not have the food ready because she was stuck on the register. As a manager that is a horrible excusse. I asked the manager for the corporate phone number and she give me the suurvey number. I said no thats not a corporate number she could not comprehend what I was saying so I asked the same quesion again still a blank look on her face. How are you a manager and not know the corporate number. I finally said forget it I will just look for it myself on google and find it. This location is really horrible they dont have enough staff and the managers are idiots!!!

For a fast food Chinese restaurant, this location is really nice and gets packed. Parking is not the easiest but worth it. Two less stars for todays visit: this woman with a name tag of «Kathy» had no smile from the very beginning, I politely asked her to wipe the table because it had sticky sauce and had rice all over it. She then rolls her eyes and said«ok.» WTF!!! Heaven forbid you do your job, woman. I thanked her after and before I can finish my words– this trick turned away. Lol… WOW! So another woman asked her to clean her table also and she turned back towards my way and rolled her eyes at the new request. Tip: smile and be happy.

Notice how they always pour the rice/noodles over onto your entrée sections so you get less of the good stuff… why is that? It happens at every panda location.

Better than the Panda near my house at least. Service was alright and food tasted about the same. The firecracker chicken tasted good except it wasn’t spicy like I hoped. I still like my authentic family style Chinese food better.

Great little panda express in Natomas. I came here the other night and the service was great even though they were about to close and Julian was working all alone. He kept him self contained when customers would walk in after helping with my order and he was also a nice and friendly gentleman. I’ll be back

This is my third time coming here and every single time they’re out of orange chicken and other items. Then they tell me a fresh batch will be done in 3 minutes… Ten minutes laters I finally get my food when I have cold rice. Also I came here at 9:25 pm the employees locked the door and said we are close. No you’re not you close at 10:00pm how dare them to say we’re closed and lock everyone out when clearly you have 35 minutes to close. I’m very disappointed and I wouldn’t want anyone else to come here and waste money on poor service, sassy and a terrible experience. This place ABSOLUTELY sucks.

I LOVEORANGECHICKENSOMUCH! I tried their online ordering for the first time and I guess there was a glitch in the system that did not print out my orders. I was told that there was going to be a little wait because the entrees that I requested ran out. The worker(he looked asian? I feel bad that I didn’t catch his name) threw in 2 spring rolls and apologized for the wait. Great customer service is truly appreciated!

Boo Hiss! The clerk informed me they no longer serve the hot & sour soup. My suggestion is to remove the sign and the pan from the display so customers don’t think it is available. I sure hope the other Panda Express stores don’t follow this store.

It isn’t a coincidence this place has 3 stars. I come here all the time, twice a week sometimes. It was 30 minutes before closing, no honey walnut shrimp that’s fine. Sanitizer bucket that’s on the floor, on top of the counter. She had to move it to hand me my food. Gross. My fried rice was sitting out too long and was hecka chewy, my honey walnut shrimp was under flavored. Call to complain for the first time and end up being told I’m wrong about the shrimp because the chef has been working for 10 years or some crap. That explains the 20 billion extra walnuts, right? He’s perfect and I just want free food. Terrible costumer service EVERYSINGLETRIPHERE. I’m officially quitting my addiction. I’m done with Panda, I’ll take my last meal and never eat here again.

Great food, Great service. Great place. The former Jelly Belly spot turned Panda Express is exactly what North Natomas needed. Before this location opened the only spot was over on 2940 Del Paso Road — 95834. Upon walking in you’ll notice this place is clean. Someone once told me if the place feels clean, the food is better — true! The staff greet you with a smile, offer a sample, and the manager Erin is helpful. These days not as many managers work side-by-side with their employee. Not much to say about the food — it’s fresh, good, and variety will appeal to everyone. Note: order from the Panda Express APP to pickup and go! Also I discovered you can order 2x of one item for your plate(I pick 2x orange chicken). All in all this place is better than 2940 Del Paso because it’s dining room is cleaner, staff nicer, food quality fresher, and parking easier.

Food is great & the staff is very friendly. Everyone has a smile on they’re face. Greets you as you walk in. Very clean facility compared to others.

Food was cold and our sever was not very attentive. I had to repeat myself more than any normal person should. I suggest they hire people who actually like doing their job. I gave it a two stars based on the food and employee experience. I am usually satisfied with Panda, today was a different story.

Panda Express is someplace that my kids love but I don’t. We come here only on the nights when it’s too late, or we are too busy for me to make dinner. They are the McDonalds of Chinese food. Knowing that before we got here I was really disappointed to find not a single vegetarian dish available tonight. No eggplant, no steamed veggies… and when I mentioned the lack of vegetable items the girl behind the counter suggested I get either broccoli beef or mushroom chicken and pick out the parts I didn’t like. I’m a vegetarian, not someone complaining about bell peppers. The entire concept of eating something cooked with meat is repulsive to me. My kids got orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. My wife got bejeng beef and I picked at her over cooked and dry rice. The kids are happy and I won’t have to come back here for at least three more months.

Don’t judge me for liking Panda Express food. Chow mein, orange chicken, beijing beef, all good. I pretty regularly stop by the Del Paso location on my way home for a quick meal so I was pleasantly surprised to find a new location next to Target. After coming here once though, I think I’ll stick to the Del Paso location from now on. The food is standard — not much else to it. It did take the kitchen quite a long time to refill the orange chicken though. The portions sizes are noticeably smaller. Instead of a full spoon-full serving, they opt for a half spoon. Maybe they were trying to conserve since their kitchen was being so slow? Kind of annoying to pay the same price for less food. The service is really what brought this place down. On the one hand, I applaud the workers for having the patience to offer samples of everything, patiently scoop each item, attentively clean up spilled food right away, and very carefully enter your items into the cash register but at some point, you just gotta speed it up. Put a little hustle into those steps! No one waiting in line is appreciating those tiny details. Overall: same food but at a snail’s pace. Everything is just slower. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry.

We went in at around 7. Most of the entrees were less than half full and kind of yucky looking … The staff was rushing me even though there was no one behind me … Weird. The bacon orange chicken was gross and dry. Actually, all of our food was dry. WAY overpriced for mediocre Chinese food. Super disappointed bc I thought I liked panda. Totally turned off for a while.

It’s not that often to have a negative reaction to a place that does the same thing over and over again, now that I’ve said that. Were is my walnuts with the shrimp, and when I order the broccoli beef, do give me more then one piece of beef and less broccoli. Overall, I love this place. Always get great customer service and quality of the food is ok. They have one of the best chow miens in the area. Haven’t had any other Chinese place that beat them yet.

I really don’t understand the mixed reviews here. I have always had good experiences here. Its rare that I have any issues getting responses from the staff and they’re good about taking care of my wife and I whenever we have to wait for food, which isn’t too often anyways. No problems here and the food is great!

Only been open for a couple months, so it’s really clean, but seems like it’s smaller than the other Natomas location. Either way, I came here for the free firecracker chicken on Chinese New Year. The line wasn’t too bad, and I was not hassled for just wanting the free item to go. I’m sure I will be back since I live so close. I get a lot of flack from friends, but I like the food at Panda Express. Considering it’s «fast food», it’s not as cheap as most fast food. You will be dropping $ 9 or more if you order a 2-item combo and a drink, but when it includes orange chicken then I’m most definitely there. I anticipate another Dukedom in my future for this place.

Yes I’m Asian and yes I like Panda Express! This Panda Express is brand new to the area and what a way to make an entrance! Today they offered two item entrees for free ALLDAYYY! Being new, the restaurant is neat and clean. It was nice to see that although they were extremely busy staff was still very patient welcoming and professional. The food looked fresh and was still hot when served. I’m not sure if they added items or maybe I just haven’t been to a Panda in a while but it looked like they had a lot more items to chose from. There are a few booths and a longer tall table inside and 3 four person tables outside. From the looks of the line and people willing to wait I doubt this location will have any problems in this busy shopping center.(This is the second Panda Express in Natomas.)
