Purchased a pizza tonight from papa murphy’s on Calvine and Elk Grove florin. Get home to find chunks of hair in it, the kind you would find balled up on a brush. Called, at first no manager, then supervisor Destiny gets on and tells me hair normal and is from the mushrooms. Seriously, it is a ball of hair, this is not from a mushroom, and there are individual hairs scattered throughout the pizza. Best they can do is have me drive all the way back and have them remake it since they don’t have a manager in tonight. Never going to papa murphys again, they have lost my business. I recommend you inspect your pizza thoroughly before eating it, I’m glad I caught it before my kids are it.

This was the worst Papa Murphy’s pizza I’ve ever ordered. After I threw it in the garbage and called the store to complain, I received a call back from Manuel. I didn’t expect such rude condescending conduct from anyone selling food that was garbage. There’s a reason the Elk Grove Papa Murphy’s is much better and is rated such by consumers. Consumers deserve a polite and courteous response from anyone after receiving complaints about food that has been thrown in the garbage as it was AWFUL! I’ve never received a pizza from Elk Grove Papa Murphy’s that was awful.

I normally love Papa Murphys pizza. This location on Elk Grove Florin is awful awful awful. They skimp on the crust and the sauce and the toppings. Crust is paper thin and pizzas are dry, for the last couple of pizzas I’ve bought there. Manuel the owner returned a call after I complained about a family size pizza that was inedible. His response was that the pizza was fine. Yuck — then you eat it Manuel! Because we could not. Waste of money. Definitely DONOT recommend this location.

This is probably the worst papa murphys I have ever been to. I used to order their pizzas at least 2x a month at the gold river location and never had a problem but this location has bad customer service for whatever reason. I ordered a large chicken garlic and when they informed me they the only available option was the thin crust I agreed since I didn’t think it was a big deal. However I got home and the pizza lacked dough(so much so that the center of the pizza was falling apart). Since I had ordered and picked up late at night I couldn’t call to complain. I called the next day and the guy took down my name and number but failed to call me back. Disappointing.

I am at the location now. My wife sent me a picture of a coupon. Manager insisted she drive here to bring the coupon. I told him she will drive here for the last time. What a solid jerks owner Manuel and his stubborn assistant manager Carley are. Boycott this location.(I’m glad you can edit) when my wife got there with a buy one get one free coupon they told me it was printed wrong and it’s buy one get one 50% off. After much argument, the owner said I’ll do it this time. I said, there won’t be a next time!

I love papa murphys good affordable pizza but be careful there is an extra charge for half and half and for some reason extra for the sundried tomatoes which they say is a premium topping I don’t get it but ok other then that great fresh toppings good flavor fresh dough u can’t go wrong with a pizza u can cook at home to your liking

First off, their prices are higher than the one on EG Blvd. Also, we left kind of shell shocked and annoyed at the ‘service’. The girl that started to take the order was nice but we had some q’s about which combos would be cheaper. She asked another co worker for help and she must have been irritated or on her way out the door or something; she was literally screaming the prices at us, not smiling and being extremely difficult to deal with. One of her coworkers said her name was Carly?(i asked after she grabbed her kid and stormed out of the store). If you do go here, be sure to have your dukes up because that girl seems to enjoy yelling… jeez…it was almost like an SNL skit of ‘the worst cashier ever’. Because of the prices and the in-your-face rude customer ‘service’ we will NEVER be coming back here again.

My man and I wanted some pizza. Ordered three pizzas. Service was fast and accurate. Employee was helpful and courteous. We came in to an empty place and got in and out fast. Was greeted right away. Store is nice and clean however I saw a fly… just one. Will come again. Not only because it is walking distance from home but also accepts ebt food and ebt cash. Saves me money.

Just like what other reviewers mentioned. They do not honor the free pizza coupons, although they said it will be half off… Don’t get it. If the pizza chain honors half off coupons then they should honor the free pizza coupon as well. What’s the point of the coupon then. Unless it’s just their practice.

It seems to me that most of the ratings this place got are based on the coupons. I used two coupons just fine and my experience was fast and easy. I’m sad I did not catch the cashiers name but her customer service skills were wonderful. Easy to talk to, knew what she was doing and made sure all her guests knew how to cook the pizzas. I’m glad she made sure the customers were well taken care of. The pizzas here are always good, so no complain about that. Good job papa murphys you guys are doing well. *two thumbs up*

Frustrated the last couple times we’ve been there… Coupons are a big pain now, NO flexibility anymore. Gimme a break, really? I can’t use a coupon for a 5-meat pizza when I really want a Grilled Chicken Bacon? Corporate attitudes now. I get that prices went up and costs have too… but $ 2.50 for ONE extra ingredient on a pizza?! Used to love you guys, but times change and so has Papa Murphys. :-(

Recently moved to the area. For the past couple months my family does pizza fridays and usually goes to this Papa Murphys. I bought coupons from my kids fundraisers events and have used the buy 1 pizza get one free here before. Well, this time they said no, that it wasnt approved. I wasn’t real happy with their service in the past, so now they won’t get any service from us ever again. Good luck on your inconsistant business. I’ll use my coupons at pizza hut in the same parking lot instead.

Will NEVER frequent this location again. I called in an order & told them I had a coupon from a fundraiser card I purchased. I heard the person taking my order ask a woman in the background if they accepted these coupons. I could overhear the manager saying that it was fine as long as it was not expired. The guy came on the line & repeated what she said. I told him that it was not expired & went ahead with my order. I got to the store to pick up my order & was told by a different manager(a guy) that they would not accept the coupon. Nice little bait & switch! I’m sure they were hoping that since I was already there I’d pay full price. Think again suckers. I promptly left without the pizzas I ordered. I went to the Elk Grove Blvd. location where they filled my order quickly AND accepted my coupon without changing their minds. The kids & manager working at the EG Blvd. location were much friendlier. From now on I’ll be giving my business to the Elk Grove Blvd. location. Customer Service is HUGE people! Someone should probably let the Papa Murphy’s on Elk Grove-Florin in on this little secret!!!

Always having garlic chicken from Papa Murphy and now they offering fancy thick crust with extra $ 1.50 for xl family size pizza is about 18″ about the same size like Costco pizza, but different prize, about $ 4.00 more expensive then Costco and you need to bake it your self too :(

Very rude employees. I had a coupon from one of those Z books and they would not honor the 50% off. They said it was a misprint and I said they should live up to the coupon regardless. They refused and said«We don’t have to»… won’t be going back based on the employees alone.

Worst one of the chain I have been to. Service was in your face. Won’t do ½ and ½ pizzas on $ 10 any pizza night either.

Won’t be ordering here again. Walked in to see flies all around the sauce/cheese area landing on the toppings and the toppings still getting used after. Disgusting! That’s very unsanitary.

Delicious Pizza at Family-Friendly Prices We have been using this location for years and have experienced excellent service. We call our order in ahead of time, and it’s ready when we get there to pick it up about 15 – 20 minutes later. Keeping calories to a reasonable amount is important to us; so we order the thin crust — Ham & Pineapple pizza, and we don’t add a thing to it. We refrigerate leftovers, then pop a slice in the microwave(about 30 seconds) to warm for lunch during the week. We keep a lookout for Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza mailbox coupons so we can get their delicious pizza at even lower prices.

I like Papa Murphy’s and have been going to this location for about 10 years now. I call my order in after checking to see what the current specials and coupons are. I always order two ex-large pizzas even though that are normally only two of us. What we don’t eat goes in the freezer for lunchs later on. They are ready in 15 minutes or so, they always have been ready when I get to the store. I always order one of the pizzas with just pepporioni on it. When I get home I chop up onions and green peppers to go on top along with some canned sliced black or green olives. Maybe canned mushrooms. I always have a 4 lb bag of shreaded Mexican cheese in the freezer so I add some of that also. I always check the specials and coupons to get the best price and I also get my club card stamped which saves money too. The two ex-large pizzas are always under $ 20 and that is really hard to beat. We like there pizza, but it isn’t the very best in the world. Just good enough to enjoy. Avoid going in on Halloween and Super Bowl Sunday as they are swamped with a long line of people out the door.
