Round Table Pizza

Never really had any issues at this particular Round Table. I had some left overs today for lunch from my bacon and pepperoni pizza I ordered last night and sometimes left over pizza is even better!
The staff here is sometimes a little too young and unprofessional for my usual taste, but they aren’t bad. The actual restaurant itself is pretty darn run down… the owner could really do some good by repairing the stained ceiling, torn seats, and disgusting carpets, but the pizza is always tasty. The bacon and pepperoni pizza was very good; I would recommend it. The pepperoni is nice and crunchy and the bacon is an amazing tough.
Round Table seems to be on the pricier end of pizza, but you can’t compare it to the rubber little Caesars pizza or pizza hut… those almost shouldn’t even be classified as pizza. But at any rate, I do enjoy this Round Table and will continue to eat here. Especially over the Pizza Bell right down the street that has turned to garbage for the price of filet mignon. Just update the building and choose a slightly better crew!

I’m very disappointed at the customer service at this location. I have never been so frustrated with ordering pizza before in my life. I placed an order online over an hour ago. I never received a confirmation so I called into confirm my order. The pizza is still there and they have the wrong order than what I placed online. I did the parents and kid unite deal with an order of a large specialty pizza I get a medium pizza for 10 dollars. I got the chicken and garlic supreme and a pineapple pizza. The guy on the phone said what he got was two chicken garlic supremes and said maybe I ordered wrong. I double checked my order before I confirmed it because I have a vegetarian here and he should have never told me it was my fault right off. And if I really was to order two meat pizzas wouldn’t I order two different kinds. The guy proceeds to tell me they can’t do anything about online orders. I would have to log online and cancel my order and reorder. I told him I never got an email confirmation and that I browsed the site and unless I had set up a user account instead of just doing guest check out there’s no cancelling option. He told me there’s nothing that he can do and he asked the supervisor and the only way to fix it is to cancel online. Why have an online ordering system if you’re incapable of handling it? So we’re right back at square one. By now I’m so frustrated and wanted to cancel the whole order all together but of course he doesn’t know how to do that. I ended up ordering another medium pizza with only pineapples just so I wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore. 70+ dollars later we’re all still sitting here kids and adults starving to death. Never again will I ever order from this location. The phone must have rang at least 15 times before someone answered. You have definitely lost a customer for life.

I have gone to this place twice since living in Elk Grove and I really love it. Got a medium thin crust pizza with two toppings, and a side of bread sticks to split with the fam. The pizza was phenomenal and the total was 20 bucks. Seriously, nothing beats this chain location.

Last week my husband and I stopped here to order a pizza. As we waited for our pizza order, I decided to use the womens restroom. Let me just say YUCK. There was a black moldy ring in the first stall toilet. When was the last time they cleaned the toilet? Umm how hard is it to drop some bleach in the toilet and let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes during closing everynight.

Ordered a chicken maui zaui pizza and recieved a ham maui zaui instead… kinda disappointed in the pizza due to this meat mix up. Not as good with ham. Other than that the pan crust was tasty, the 2^nd pizza we ordered was good and it was hot and ready for us when we went to pick it up. They did not check the order with us when we picked it up so we didn’t know it was the wrong pizza until we got home and was all ready to eat. I hope the next time we go there we won’t have this kinda of mistake again.

Always has horrible customer service. Phone rings about 15 times before they answer, delivery service is always about and 1.5 hour wait. Staff is on cell phones instead of helping customers. I would love to order from here more often but every time I call I regret it. Pizza is good, staff is horrible.

Gross out of all of the locations this is the worst one a bunch of kids that don’t know what their doing greasy nasty sloppy I always had to return my food so I quick going go to another location

Great pizza! And ready when we arrived! I love that their salad bar still offers eggs, when other places have stopped.

We’ve ordered online twice now for delivery from this Round Table Pizza in Elk Grove since they are close to our place. We like that there’s always an online coupon you can use to apply to your order.
Everything was pretty easy to use and our order actually arrive 5 minutes before our requested delivery time. Pizza was good and the buffalo wings were hot, had the right amount of kick. Our delivery driver was nice too. All in all we’ve had a good experience so far. Would definitely order delivery from here again.

Tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had in ordering pizza. I called and ordered for delivery and selected the special what you are the Italian trio for $ 17.99. I ordered no sliced sausage sub pepperoni and asked if this was an issue. I was told no. I was told a total and then when the driver arrived my 1799 pizza was $ 24.83. So I simply asked where the extra money came from. The driver called in and returned to my door and said that I was charged $ 2 for subbing the pepperoni, which I would have never done if I was told there was a $ 2 charge. Also there was a small charge that was unexplainable on the receipt. When I called the manager erin, he told me about the charge for the sub. I explained I would not have ordered the pizza if I knew it was that expensive and that I had expressed It was only me eating and didn’t want to spend a lot on food. He continued to tell me that the charge was valid so I told him I would send the pizza back and just tip his driver with half of the money for the pizza. He began to threaten me saying he would call the police and tell them I had stolen a pizza and I have it in my house! I tried to explain to him that is not what I said and he continue to threaten me with the police and told me it doesn’t matter what I have to say he will just call the police if I steal his pizza. The customer service here is a joke! The guy who took my order was very short and rushed, and the manager erin who got on the phone with me was absolutely unprofessional and very rude, not to mention threatening me with legal problems when I have done nothing wrong. I will never again order from the store and possibly not from Round Table for a long time. From me you guys get no stars. :(

Ordered a cheese pizza online. Was surprised to get a phone call shortly after to follow up with me and make sure I wanted just a cheese pizza and didn’t forget to add toppings. Thought that was nice, most people would have just ran it through. Delivery was fast. Pizza was good. Overall a good experience.

Solid all you can eat pizza and salad bar. Everything was just OK, but I like the service given to the table next to me. I thought the service to the grandmother was good, and I expect no less. A good option for the price when in that neighborhood.

This place is right around the corner from our house. The pizza is always good. The only downside is all the tables are always dirty. Also often most of the people are there talking to each other, or to someone that has come to visit them. They really need to take more time to clean the place. Two Fridays in a row I experienced this.

Ordered a pizza online to save a little money since they have some great online deals. We got a large half combination, half chicken garlic gourmet pizza. They said it would be ready in half and hour. Great!
Swooped in to pick up the pizza and thank goodness we checked it before we left. It was half combo, half veggie. ummmm negative.
I believe her name was Colette (it could have been Colleen) who was working at the counter but she was super helpful and very nice. She offered to make us a small chicken garlic and gave us some tips on ordering online. Customer service was great!
However, please fix your online ordering system if there is a known issue with orders coming in wrong to the back. i shouldn’t have to call in and double check the order.
The pizza itself was delish.

Maui zaui delivered they forgot to put green onions on it. I called and manager April was able to take care of it. Offered remake another day I like.
HOT WINGS WERE SERIOUSLY UNDERCOOKED. Roundtable Pizza was my very first job in HS I know the wings are precooked/​frozen and I completely forgot to tell them to extra crispy the wings. My bad! They were so soggy, I peeled the skin and trashed it. I like my skin crispy, personal preference*

The restaurant itself is starting to look little shopworn. They do have a back room for meetings and parties. The pizza quality can fluctuate. Sometimes it’s pretty good and other times it just doesn’t hit the mark. Sometimes it has too much sauce, sometimes it’s just missing the right flavor. Once my wife saw them pouring the Parmesan cheese from a table dispenser into the small containers that they give you to go. That seemed kind of disgusting and turned me off from wanting to use their cheese. My favorite is Canadian bacon and pineapple. Oddly, if you order it as a «Hawaiian» it costs more than ordering it ala cart.

Compared to all of the other pizza places, I think Round Table has one of the best dough. It is more expensive but if you check in to a Round Table, you can get 15% off by showing the coupon from Unilocal.I have this location a 3 star because I get great customer service some days and other days the employees seem to not care at all. Some of the cashiers will pay attention and get you your order quickly. On one occasion there was a cashier who was really putting down the other employee. It was just sad seeing this.
The location looks outdated and need to be remodeled. The parking is in a shopping center with other restaurants and a Safeway grocery store. Parking is usually easy to find. I usually spend an average of $ 19 when I order but it’s one pizza plus a 2 liter soda.
Overall, I will come back because I like the pizza.
