A&W

So, since we are nearby and I remember about having an offer 2 of A&W cheese burger for $ 2.00, so we decided to get some, and boy don’t we got lucky don’t have to pay a full price for it, because so not worthed.
The burger patty way too thin and the bun way to thick, my 8 y/​o daughter imagined eating McDonald and In and Out burger while eating it :(

My complaint is with the A&W food. A few months ago I got a hot dog that was inedible. Today I got a 15 oz vanilla shake, no whipped cream, no cherry on top. It cost me $ 2.79. There was at most only one scoop of ice cream, and the rest was milk. I took a sip and then held up the straw and there was nothing on it, just a little milk running off of it. The straw should have been covered with ice cream. It is now in the freezer and maybe when it freezes I can slightly defrost it and then eat it. Don’t order the milkshakes. I have never had a problem with the KFC food or the service. KFC, why don’t you dump A&W and get another fast food company to partner up with? I tried to post this review on the KFC/A&W site but you have to give them your name and info thru facebook. Will never happen.

I wouldn’t even give them a star if I could… was craving for a cold root beer float… was at the drive thru & the husband order because he was driving and I was in the back with my baby boy… He said that he wanted a large root beer float and the worker automatically just said OK & for us to drive forward & my husband had to tell her that he wasn’t even done ordering… then he also order a polar swirl & the worker was repeating the order with a SODA & a polar swirl. It’s like wtf!!! Get our orders right sheeshhh… after already driving off and me getting my float I tasted it and uh wtf!!! the soda is warm??? Wtf is up with the ice cream… not much is even on there. At least be nice to fill it up to the top of the cap… not to the cup!!! If we hadn’t driven off i would of went back around and toss that piece of sh** float in their face… Not going there ever again!!! Do not recommend anyone to go there!!!

Yesterday, I was craving an ice cold root beer. I walked over to the grocery store and a 2 liter bottle just did not look enticing to me. So… we did what every root beer drinker would’ve done. We drove to A&W!
I seriously only come here when I want some good olé fashioned soda… and that is quite rare. Pulled up to the drive thru… picked up a small root beer and a root beer float for wifey.
My only complaint? Not enough ice cream in the float… in fact, it was really minimal.
The root beer is always fantastic. You can also order larger ones to take home.
Never tried the food… don’t intend to. Just give me root beer!!! Haha.

A&W has the frosty mug taste! Literally, you get to borrow one of their frosty mugs for soda if you eat here. I’m all grown-​up now, and I’m quite partial to the other type of «beer’, but nostalgia kicks in and I’m happy as a clam whenever I visit an A&W restaurant. The burgers are not really anything special, but the root beer rocks!
Also, the manager at this particular location is on point — very nice and professional. While I was there this couple was waiting a particularly long time for one of the items to come out, so the manager (without prompting) came out, apologized for the inconvenience and offered them fries/​extra food for being so patient.

Ordered takeout for a work lunch spread. The food was fresh, hot, and very tasty. Chicken, chicken strips, bisquits, wedge potatos, mac and cheese with mashed potatos and gravy. Excellent! We’ll probably do it again soon. Thanks!
