I concur with the other high ratings for this Supercuts location. I went for the first time yesterday and was not disappointed with the service. Staff were friendly, short wait, and I got a good haircut. That’s all you can ask for really.

It has been a few years since I got a haircut at an establishment. I’m wary about who touches my hair.
After reading dozens of reviews for salons/​barbers across Sacramento and Elk Grove, I decided to give this SuperCuts a try.
Despite being a drop-​in, I was called up within ten minutes of my arrival. The stylist (with purple hair, I think her name is Brenda) cleared up my confusion on the differences between an undercut and a combover. She offered to do one first and then change it if I didn’t like it.

I am very pleased with the results and will be returning in a few weeks.

Just visited my first salon in almost 2 – 3 years. I decided to pick this place because I needed a trim/​cut badly and didn’t want to spend more than $ 20 (especially on a trim). After looking up many salons, I chose this location. I’m so glad I did. It was a slow afternoon so I got seated within 2 minutes. Angela was my hair stylist and she was super helpful. She took me through the process, making sure I would like what she was doing or making sure the appropriate length was being cut.
I love the end result. I think this is the first time I am happy with my hair cut. Definitely would come back again!

I’ve been taking my two boys here for about 2 years now, and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience here. Out of all of the times I’ve come in to get their hair cuts, I’ve never made an appointment and have only waited more than 15 minutes once. Most of the time I sign them both in and already ready to give one of them a haircut first.
All of the ladies that cut their hair over the years have been extremely friendly (that also includes all of the other ladies working with other people). And have always made both of my boys feel really comfortable, which was especially helpful for my youngest. Who was 2 when he first started coming here and is is now 5, since he hated getting his haircut. If he didn’t sit on my lap he’d refuse to get it haircut since he was scared. But as he kept going, and became more comfortable, he now sits so patiently for Desiree and is very talkative talkative with her.
Another good thing that I was used to when getting my own haircut at barbershops, is that keep your haircuts on file. So whenever I go in they ask, all they have to do is look in the boys’ file. And ask if they want it the same as last time. For my youngest it’s pretty much the same style every time, but with my older son. He’ll try out different styles here and there.
If you’re in the area I’d definitely check this place out, and when you’re done you could always «treat» your self to a Starbucks with is located next door… I do the same sometimes for the boys after. It was more as a bargain with my youngest if he did well getting his haircut, and I’m ok with getting him some chocolate milk! LOL

I’ve visited this salon multiple times, and have never experienced anything quite as bad as I have today. First off, their chairs are ABSOLUTELY horrible. My back hurts after 10 minutes in them. Anyway, I walk in, and a lovely lady checked me in and told me it’d be about a 30 minute wait because there’s only one stylist and there was one person in front of me. That’s fine, I’m patient. I run to the bank, and come back. After about 45 minutes of waiting, the person in front of me leaves and I should be next, right? Nope. They took a woman who came in about 35 minutes after me and took her despite me telling them I was first. I wait another 30 minutes or so, and decided to leave after an hour and 5 minutes of waiting. Their quality cuts are not worth the wait, either. Very average cuts.

Best haircut my son has ever had. cut to perfection. no wait time. timely manner.wouldn’t change a thing… for short hair she recommended tea tree oil conditioner and it was great smelling and perfect recommendation.

I love this place. The staff are friendly, Do a great job and can even do some fun stuff like when they «painted» Red white and blue dots in my sons hair for independence day. The salon is clean and well maintained and it can be quick to get in and out.

I was raised to be wary of 15 $ haircuts. I am so excited that I have found a place that defies the stereotype!
I walked right in and was immediately seated with Desiree (sp?) who was warm, professional, and personable. As a bit of a beauty nerd, I was surprised to listen to Desiree and April (one of the other stylists) give myself and the other customers great advice that I normally wouldn’t receive from stylists. Things like the technical reasons not to use shampoos and conditioners with specific ingredients in them, how hair dye works, and a few other things. Desiree worked with me on the style she cut for me, to make it the best not only for my fashion sense, but the maintenance level I had in mind (minimal). I walked out of the salon excited to try my new style out on the world, and I’ve lost count of how many compliments I’ve received from friends, family… even strangers!

What a nice place, very pleasant experience. The décor is tasteful, shop is very clean and fresh smelling.
My husband and I went here for hair cuts today.
We were unsure quite what we wanted and asked «the girls» to do what they may.
Both Desiree and Angela made suggestions and got our ok before proceeding.
My husband got a shampoo, cut and style and I got cut my hair cut and styled.
We both left feeling well treated and delighted with our new look.
We heartily recommend this Supercuts to everyone!
