Paul’s Cleaners

Took my chiffon jumpsuit in with a couple of grease stains. I look over my suit in the shop, the stains were still there. The lady explained they had cleaned my suit 2 times and could remove the stains. I paid for my items. When I got home I was using Shout and stains were remove. Lesson here EQUALS don't use Paul's Cleaner. In the future i will be using a different cleaners. BAd cleaning practice.

Took my husbands clothes in to be pressed in a pinch, they had them done quickly and very affordable!

January 27^th 2016 I dropped off my Michael Kors bag to be cleaned, I was told they would call me if they’d be able to clean it because it was a two tone color. 2 days later someone called and said they would be able to clean it I would just have to come in and sign a waiver… the next day I go in read and sign the waiver (TOTALLY OK WITH WAIVER DETAILS) and was told my bag would be «Sent out» to another person they use that comes from the bay area (Ok cool). 2weeks after hearing NOTHING from them I go to the store to check on my bag… My purse was inside of a paper bag STILL DIRTY AND MY LEATHER WAS NOW DAMAGED. I asked the owner (older Korean lady) what happened to my purse and she said the person who picked it up (bay area 3^rd party) would be notified and see what he can do to fix it. Another 3or so weeks went by and on 3−30−16 I go in to check again AFTER NOT HEARING ANYTHING FROM THEM YET AGAIN, the owner goes to the corner of the store and pull my bag from the same paper bag off OF THE FLOOR and tells me it’s nothing further that can be done for my bag purse still has spots on it along with DAMAGE TO MY LEATHER and NO ONE IS WILLING TO EXCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. Asked her for the 3^rd party person number and she tells me «SHE DOESN’T HAVE A NUMBER FOR HIM» I ask he if she has a copy of the waiver I signed and she tells me no I don’t have copy. She finally gives me a phone number to «SOMEONE» I call 3x a gentleman answered and I proceed to tell him I am a Paul’s cleaners customer and tell him I’m picking up a bag he allegedly cleaned… the guy then tells me can he call me back because he’s driving, I ask how long before he calls back he said 30mins and hangs up. (3÷31÷16 he has yet to call back) I proceed to tell the lady once I find out who’s responsible for my damaged bag then I will return to pay the $ 44.00 I was being charged for my bag. She begins to yell at me saying «you no pay» you no pay” I again told me Ma’am once I’m contacted back I’ll come in to pay when someone accept responsibility for my bag and I leave. Went to police station to make a report JUST IN CASE SHE/​THEY ATTEMPT TO SAY I «STOLE» PROPERTY FROM THEM WITHOUT PAYING. UGH NEVER AGAIN!!! (Sorry so long, also reporting to BBB TODAY).

My first time here at Paul’s cleaners. They clean clothes and do alterations as well. My husband is having some of his slacks done. He had one pair done and was pleased with the work so here we are back again, but my first time here.
The young lady that works here is very friendly and talkative. The older lady who was measuring the pants didn’t seem to speak English, because my husband was trying to tell her that she had the pants to tight and he must have said it about 4 times before she loosened them up on him.
I wanted to try this place out because I too have some clothing I need to have some alterations on, but after reading the reviews I am now somewhat hesitant and after speaking with my husband he said that he won’t wait until something happens. He says this will be his last time. I appreciate the reviews, it helps me to know if I want to deal with a business or not. I don’t have a problem learning from other customers experiences.
I guess the search continues on for someone that is good at alteration. And its to bad this place didn’t work out, because it’s close to home.

This place is a serious disaster!!! I’ve been taking my clothes to Pauls for about 3 months. I bought a new pair of Calvin Klein pants light grey with a slight shimmer and they totally ruined them. I asked for dry clean only, and they totally washed them giving my pants a hard gritty feel with a wrinkled fade finished as if they were sitting for a while, bunched up, before put into a dryer. When I told them about the issue the old lady acted like she couldn’t speak or understand English. The asain lady then offered to re clean them as if I was incompetent enough to believe that re cleaning them would solve the problem. The spanish attendant repeated everything I said ver batum to her to translate!!! Then she said I would have to speak with the owner as if I didn’t know she was the owner already. When husband owner finally called me he was extremely rude, telling me thats how the pants are and its the manufacturer’s fault that the pants faded (which I never stated to him). He then went on to say that he has been in business for 30+ years and I don’t know what Im talking about and hung the phone up in my face!!! One would think after 30 yrs of cleaning you would be able to do so without ruining customer’s articles of clothing and losing the collar stays of button up shirts. Totally un professional, was able to use the restroom in the back and there were collar stays all over the floor!!! I was so pissed! Thy obviously are burned out and do not care about customer’s clothing or their business! I am ready to sign a petition or whatever it takes to exile Pauls from the Greenhaven area and bring in a new dry cleaners that has proper customer service!!!

Brought in a white pea coat to be cleaned and have the buttons sewn on more securely. It came back clean but the buttons had 3 loops of thread «securing» them. I had to redo it myself.
I also brought in 2 pairs of pants for hemming and one for rehearing. The seamstress didn’t measure both legs so they aren’t quite even. On the pair that needed rehemming, the pant was pressed in place and only needed one leg hemmed, yet they still charged me for a full hem.
All of the pants were returned pressed though.
Overall not bad for small or quick jobs but not a place I’d bring an expensive item.

My husband took a set of our curtains to Paul’s cleaners. Not only did the curtains not get cleaned (spots still there) but they shrunk two of the panels. So now I either deal with the curtains being different lengths or replace them. When he called the store the person who answered didn’t apologize and said he would have to speak to the owners. From the sound of the other reviews I’ve read they aren’t helpful. We won’t be coming back. You’ve just lost another customer.

Avoid! Owners are very rude and have NO customer service skills whatsoever!!! Old Korean woman and old Korean man can’t speak English and leave dirty work to their horrible worker at the front! What’s up with that?
I called to complain and the owner who calls himself Paul said, «I in business long time!» Well hard to believe that! He is drinking too much!
Well sure didn’t act like it! If your customer service is as good as your English they both suck! Stay away! I had a coupon they didn’t want to honor after the dry cleaning was done. Shady place. I will be contacting the BBB and considering filing a civil lawsuit for lying to customers about false advertising.

I recently moved back to the greenhaven area and was excited to stop by Paul’s cleaners for alterations. I had always liked coming here in the past. I was greeted not with a smile but with a very rude and arrogant customer service representative. No how are you? She had the nastiest attitude and shouldn’t be working any front desk. I was excited that they were in the same plaza as Nugget and Marshalls and I congratulated them. Still, she was very low energy and looked as if she hated her job. I got a quote on my alteration by the women that does the altering and since it was a sale item that needed help with the zipper, I determined that I’d be better off returning the dress. I have no issues with the pricing or the quality of work. I was disgusted with the front desk woman. She was so RUDE. After I returned my dress next door at Marshalls, I came back to talk to the owner before writing this review. I talked to the front desk girl too and expressed exactly what I am writing here right now. She was very rude still. She said she had been working there for years and hadn’t had any complaints so she was sorry if I felt that way… I said there is a first time for everything, The owner was sweet but she failed to recognize how badly her front desk had treated me. I hoped that they would be apologetic and I wouldn’t have to write this review but it was just awful. I’ll find another place to go. I want to be treated nicely. Is that too much to ask for?

Good place to get quick dry cleaning done. They do same day if dropped off by 9am and ready by around 4. Friendly service. Alterations have been a hit and miss here. Look for coupons in the neighborhood shopping booklet.

Been going to Paul’s for years, they are my go to neighborhood dry cleaner. Always done within a few days of me dropping off my dry cleaning and never a problem. I’ve had them do some special stain removal as well (oil on a silk dress, grease on a wool coat) both came back stain free. The monthly coupon in the Neighbor Shopper for Paul’s helps keep my dry cleaning bills down.

I took my dry cleaning to Paul’s for years, but after they ripped my father’s custom made dress shirt and refused to take responsibility, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I would never trust them cleaning my clothes ever again.

I usually come here to get my comforters cleaned and occasionally for my husbands work attire. I’ve never had a problem with their customer service or cleaning issues. They launder my comforters, fold them up nicely and put them in a plastic bag. To clean a King comforter is $ 28, but they normally advertise in the Neighborhood Shopper with a coupon offer of 25% off household items.
When I’ve sent in my husbands clothes, they have come back cleaned and pressed perfectly with no stains, smells, or rips. I’m shocked to read the bad reviews, and I hope I never encounter a problem. Until then I will continue to patron Paul’s.

Does the job as advertised.

I dont think this place actually dry cleans your clothes and instead presses and irons them only. I think my clothes would be better off in the dryer using dryel. I came here because they had a clean one get one free coupon and it was very close by so I decided to give them a chance. I should have read the Unilocal reviews first. Don’t waste your money here.

I was a customer for many years, but I will never go back. I brought in a shirt for cleaning and it came back with a horrible stain. The owner accused me of bringing it in with the stain and refused to speak civilly to me. He would rather lose my business than admit it was his error. The motto must be «the customer is wrong and I am right!» Rudeness and stubbornness is no way to run a business, especially when there are plenty of other cleaners.

I recently moved to this neighborhood and this was my first experience with Paul’s Cleaners. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
