First time here, amazing food! I am vegan and my husband is not and this place was very good about ingredients and even came out of kitchen to advise me that they use fish sauce. Wow great service, close to home! Winner all the way around! Thank you for being so accommodating for different lifestyles.

The food continues to be delicious. Service has increased a tiny bit. Worth the 4th star but they really need to speed things up.

Well, ordering takeout now seems to be completely impossible. Tried calling, line rings and rings indefinitely. Tried ordering from their website, it will not let you check out. Installed the Eat 24 app and it is too buggy to let me submit an order via any payment method. I give up on Phaya.

Slow service, waitress never checked in to see how the food was, we had to wave to get someone’s attention to get our check, and then wait another 5 minutes for a to go box. Food is over priced for what it is. The curries don’t have any veggies and lack flavor. Wouldn’t go back.

Horrible slow service. The waitress never checked on us during lunch when we needed water refills, chili sauce, and napkins. We ordered spring rolls and there was a hair inside. We won’t be coming back.

Ordered delivery I would give 5 stars but the ribs weren’t good at all. However, the salmon and veggies were beyond delicious food was very hot. Wait time was almost 2 hours. Chai tea was still tasty.

The food is but expect to wait at least a half hour for your drinks to come out and over an hour for your food. My fiancé and I anniversary nite was ruined by deciding to try this place out.

The food is always bomb. I have never eaten inside, I always order to go. I tend to always get their pad thai w/shrimp(prawns), their fried rice w/shrimp, and their tom yum soup(again with shrimp.) I recently tried their pork short ribs and they were so delicious! At first I thought their portions were small, but they were enough to feed me and my bf, and still have leftovers. Plus they come in these nice plastic containers with snap on lids(very nice touch.) I do wish the wait times weren’t as long, but I can understand and it’s worth the wait for some good thai food. Plus they deliver? Cant complain… They are a little on the pricey side, but nothing bad, that’s what you get for some good tasting thai food. For dessert I have gotten the mango with sweet sticky rice and that stuff is just too bomb. I like it better when it’s on the cooler side, but I’ve had it room temp and I thought it tasted just fine. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

This is the closest Thai place to our house so we come/order from here quite often. Not sure if they were having an exceptional night or got a new chef but YUM! Previously I would’ve given the place a 2.5 to 3 star rating. Food was OK, pretty standard and we mostly ordered out of convenience. Based on carry out from last week(mid March 2016), Woo hoo!!! Food was on point! Ordered pumpkin curry, pad thai, tom yum noodle soup, pineapple fried rice and thai eggplant/basil dish. All were delicious and MUCH improved from before. Flavors were bursting and«hot» was really HOT(which we love). Only down side is they are not very fast with take out. They need a solid 25 – 30 minutes so minus 1 star.

I have been here twice. The first experience with was great, I enjoyed the food very much, so much that I wanted my husband to try it. The second experience was horrible! I don’t know if they were short staffed, or what, but it was probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time. First, it took about 20 minutes to get our appetizer. Then, we had to wait another 30 – 40 minutes for our meals. No one came to fill our waters. Oh, and did I mention we had our two year old with us(ahhhh!). There were only two other tables besides us in the restaurant and I could tell that they were getting restless waiting for their food too. When we got our food the orange chicken was dry and hard to chew, the green curry was ok but the eggplant in it was crunchy. It was very disappointing. I don’t think we will ever go back.

Total disappointment, I really wanted to give this place a chance but I stood at the entrance for a good 10 minutes and was never even acknowledged. A few tables were sat with no food. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I love this place! Amazing service and excellent food. I am addicted to the Tom Yum Soup. My picky 6 year old even loves the food here. We eat here weekly!

I placed a take-out order over the phone and was told it would take 30 minutes. 30 – 35 minutes later I arrived, only to learn my order was not ready. I noticed multiple people waiting for take-out orders, and asked the friendly woman how long it would be for my order. The woman then asked me what I had ordered, and seemed confused after I responded. Turns out they hadn’t seen the ticket for my order yet. The male employee mentioned some sort of problem with their ticket-printing system. At this point, I was frustrated, and told them I would just cancel my order. They asked me if I could wait 10 minutes for them to cook my food, and I begrudgingly agreed. 10 – 15 minutes later, I check on my order, asking if I could just go ahead and pay. I then found out they STILL hadn’t started my order. And so I left and got soup and sandwiches from Whole Foods, totally hangry, and upset about wasting an hour of my life. The following week, I found a new Thai restaurant — Tasty Thai, across from Target on Fulton and Alta Arden. Their food is very tasty, portions/prices are good, and the employee I encountered was very friendly. AND, my order was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Sorry Phaya Thai, you’ve lost a customer :(

I’ve always had good food and good service here… not this evening. I placed an online order through EAT24 at 8:02 and received confirmation that my order would be ready in 10 – 30 minutes, my previous experience with this method usually results in a 20 – 30 minute pickup time. not this evening. At 8:18 I was contacted by EAT24 that the restaurant was out of my 2 orders of chicken satay was I okay with this, I wasn’t happy but okay, I accepted it and confirmed the rest of my order. I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived to pickup my order around 8:43 and waited with another customer picking up an order ahead of me, and waited… 10 minutes go by at which time I was approached by the hostess about my order, she went to check on it, more waiting. At 9:57 I was told by the hostess that EAT24 hadn’t confirmed my order with them after the satay snafu and they hadn’t started it yet… really?! I was told it’d be another 20 minutes… no thank you, please cancel my order. I walked at 9:58 and contacted EAT24 at 9:59 that I was not happy. . California translation: no bueno. I went across the street to Panda, sorry.

Placed the order at 4:37pm, and I still haven’t received it at 6:30pm. I don’t care how the food tastes, it should not take this long to deliver it. Will NEVER order from here again. Update: After over two hours, my food arrived. Unfortunately, while it was decent, it was not worth the wait. I’ve had better, faster.

I came here for dinner with a friend and this time customer service is way better. Presentation of the food is awesome and also the taste is way better when u dine in. Food came in a timely manner and waitress is very attentive which is plus. I enjoy the Tom Yum soup here and I also like their Panang curry. I’ll definitely come back.

I ordered from here because of the delivery. I ordered orange chicken, phad thai and shrimp wraps. Not thrilled… the shrimp is major chew along with the wrap. The orange chicken has a chicken taste, not so much orange. And the phad thai is not phad thai tasting. It all has an odd taste. It may be the plastic it’s in? It took 50 minutes for food to arrive. The delivery lady had me sign my order and I noticed the price was different. I said oh, let me grab more money.(My total was $ 29 and change) she knocks on the door and tells me it was the wrong side that the 29 was my total. So I handed her $ 30. Her comment was«no tip?» Nope… no tip. Not after you said that. I won’t eat here again. Very disappointed. The more I eat the more I’m disgusted. Save yourself

Wanted to try out a new place. Ended up here last night with some friends. The place is really small. The inside was plain and old looking, nothing eye catching. We got seated right away and ordered some Thai iced tea and Thai iced Coffee. I had the coffee and it was delicious. We decided to share everything. We had Thom yum noodle soup, Red Curry, and Massaman curry. We told the waitress we wanted it EXTRAHOTTHAIHOT! The food did take awhile to come out. It seem like the place had more Take out orders than people coming to eat in. Our food finally came. Everything looked amazing and tasted great. One problem, it wasn’t as spicy like we wanted it. Overall, everything was good.

Place is clean. Food is delish! I took out a star because service can be slow at times. The place is not packed but they get lots of pick up orders. I ordered over the phone one time and was told to pick it up in 20 mins. When i got there, my order is not yet ready. I had to wait extra 15 mins. But food is really good and they have friendly staff. Will be back when i’m in the mood for thai food.

Service is a bit slow, but the food is so delicious you don’t mind. I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re in a rush. The gentleman working during lunch on a Saturday sure was busy assembling takeout orders! The lunch special is lovely, and unlike a lot of other places with a lunch special they allow full customization. Having the curry? Red, green or yellow? Is it with shrimp, beef, chicken or tofu? How spicy? White or brown rice? For $ 7.95 you get an awful lot of options! If you know what you want, you’ll get exactly what you ask for. If you don’t know a lot about Thai food, it’s a great way to familiarize yourself through trial and error to figure out what’s best. Most of all, the people who work here seem to care about what they’re doing.
