I like the food here but service kinda sucks every time I’ve been here. Whenever I’m done eating I usually just walk up to the register to pay because it takes a long time to get my check. I like how the restaurant is decorated though and it’s a lot cleaner than phở bac hoa viet right across the street so I just come here instead anyway even if service is lacking.

The customer service was horrible. We recieved no refills on water only saw our waitress twice to take our order and at the time to pay. We had to wait 45 min for our food. The only positive about this place is that the food was very good and very fresh. I probley won’t go back. They really need help from Chef Gordon Ramsey !!!

Wow I hadn’t been back to this place for years. Came on Christmas day and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. We ordered a little bit of everything. Phở ga(chicken noodle soup), grilled octopus, bun Tom thit nuong com and bun(vermicelli egg roll shrimp and meat with rice and noodle), and bun Bo hue(spicy beef noodle). The phở ga had a nice phở taste perfect for a cold day. Bun bo was legitimate the soup was perfectly seasoned and the rice had some really good quality tasty beef. The service was good and efficient. Warning: the bowls are crazy huge! And the price is super cheap still. One hiccup I wish the grilled octopus had a little more seasoning but it was still good. I would come back.

So ever since I had this place earlier this week I’ve been sold! Phở dynasty is no longer my go to phở place it is good but Saigon bay is amaze balls! They have great prices and big bowls I got the xx large bowl to feed myself and two teenagers plus my two year old toddler we all had seconds and extra left over. We just could not resist their appetizers had the fried shrimp loved it! Today we tried the tamarind wings let me just say if you are a chicken wing lover your life will be forever changed! They are extra generous with their sauce wings were extra crispy and fresh, so flavorful! They mean it when they say wings too they just give you wings they won me over with that. Fried spring rolls were delicious! We left with happy and full bellies and let me just tell you the two teenagers that I brought one my little sister and one my little cousin they are picky and hard to impress when it comes to food. So this place gets a five star all around service was friendly and fast.

Great menu but execution needs help. The cook or chef about years ago was pretty good. Recently things have become sloppy. The overuse of MSG made me sick until the next day, couldn’t even function at work nor sleep at night. Everything was MSG flavored; from the phở to the house chicken wings which were not crunchy this time at all and they gave me a very dirty plate. Like whoever plated it, spilled sauce all over the plate and made a poor attempt to wipe it down and everything just looked like garbage. If your food is good, it speaks for itself. No MSG needed, or at least don’t use so much. They also ran out of the crêpe! Seriously? My experience could not be any worse. They also had only one poor guy working the front during heavy lunch hour and several large tables were left uncleaned for a long time. The guy was sweating, doing sprints back and forth trying to please everyone. Very unorganized.

I came here for many times because of their chicken wings. This place has the best chicken wings in Sacramento. The seafood phở is hella great too. Moreover, customer service so wonderful, they were so friendly and nice. I love this place.

I don’t really like going here bcos their food can be quite oily & greasy but when I do I get the grilled calamari. A delicious light appetizer or meal depending on the personal. Great grill flavor. The dipping sauce is sweet and spicy, so good. Enjoyed every bite.

Don’t even feel like wasting my time writing this review but they made me so mad I just had to. I don’t know what is up with these Vietnamese restaurants but their service is always horrible! These servers have such bad attitudes. It’s like they don’t want to serve us or they hate their jobs! I came in with my bf and we were told to sit down at the nearest table. They literally just pointed and we sat down. Let me just say… I’m pretty sure that still water is a health code violation. This restaurant has your Drinking water already pre made by the cash register and they just put ice in it when they need to serve it. Imagine all of the dust and bugs that fly over it. They really need to stop being lazy and just make waters when requested. And the last time I checked, there is a law that you can’t serve water unless asked to since we are in a drought. Anyways, let’s talk about the food… I ordered a chicken phở, beef combo phở & some eggrolls. The eggrolls were nothing special. Just some overly salted eggrolls with the same old dipping sauce it usually comes with. The chicken in the phở was dry and not very flavorful. I got my beef phở with extra tendon. I LOVEEEEE tendon so I know good tendon when I eat it. Saigon bay’s tendon however was dirty and the texture was way too hard to be served. Did I mention that they charged me $ 1.50 for TWO extra pieces of lime?! TWO. !! That’s some bull. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back here ever again. No thanks. I’ll just stick to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Elk Grove.(Phở Le) You guys need to work on your customer service skills. Especially the older lady who looks like she owns the place. You can’t run a store with that type of unwelcoming attitude. -.-

YOUNEEDTOTRYTHEIRSPRINGROLLSHERE! they taste just like my moms and the sauce too!(Vietnamese restaurants never get it right!) Other than tht, when you get anything with the egg rolls, DONOT. The eggrolls are thin and the shell is so hard to chew.

They service small, large, X large, XX large size. And you can challenge one blow with 2pounds Phở with 2pounds meats.

I haven’t been to this restaurant in a long time, but my husband and I decided to stop by one night when I was craving a bowl of bun bo hue. It was a late night dinner for us and this restaurant is one of the few places on Stockton Blvd that is open late. I ordered a large bowl of bun bo hue and their portions are definitely big! They include a lot of ingredients, however it did not taste fresh. The meat was tough and the broth was not as flavorful compared to other neighboring restaurants. I was very disappointed, especially since my craving was not satisfied. My husband ordered the fish cake soup and he was not impressed. This restaurant is clean, has a nice setting and décor, friendly service and is open until 10 pm, but too bad their food is not on point. Maybe their phở and rice dishes taste better?

Bun xeo ftw!!! This place is great for a somewhat late night dinner since most of the surrounding restaurants close by 8pm. Bun bo hue here is also a great choice!

Quite possibly the biggest bowl of phở in the Sacramento area. And I’m not referring to their huge phở challenge bowl. Not only do they have an XL, but they also have an XXL. I can eat a lot and I barely finished that. The phở broth was bland and the noodles were stuck together, but there was a more than decent amount of meat and it came out very quickly so that is a plus. The rice noodle bowls are huge too, so you definitely won’t go hungry. I give the food a 3, but the service and price gives it a 4.

It’s been over half a year since I’ve eaten here and it’s a disappointment. I got the bun bo hue and boyfriend got the sweet and sour chicken w/rice. Bun bo hue wasn’t as hot in temperature as I wanted it to be and the meat was very tough and chewy, and by the time I finished chewing one piece of meat, my jaw ached. I found it a little odd that they started putting meatballs(that’s usually for phở) in their bun bo hue as well. The sweet & sour chicken’s sauce was extremely sweet. Service was just alright. One of their servers was very nice when taking our order, but sadly of their 4 servers in total, our water cups were left empty until the end.

Are you more into flavorful dishes than the seats you are sitting? Well, I would not recommend this place for their phở and bun. However, if you like giant XXL phở bowl, this place is great for you. Location(3⁄5): It locates on the«Stockton Blvd Strip» and right next to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa. From outside looking in, this restaurant looks very glassy and spacious! Comparing this place to nearby Vietnamese restaurants, the interior design looks the best I would say. There are not many parking spaces outside of the restaurant. Especially on the weekend, you may have more difficulties finding parking. Service(2⁄5): The overall service was lower than mediocre. The first waitress, who came to take our orders, did not like to answer any of my questions about the sizes. Perhaps, they have more old customers than new ones… Then, I asked her about the special(Bun Cha Ca). She didn’t bother to answer… After ordering, the waitor, who brought a L size phở bowl to us, he dropped it on our table. The hot phở broth was flooding everywhere! Then he said, «I’m sorry», and never came back to help us wipe the mess… Come on! Food(1.5÷5): We ordered a L size phở ga(chicken phở), a S size bun cha ca(special of the day), and an order of fried chicken wings with fish sauce(ga chien nuoc mam). The«dropping incident» aside, I don’t know if the restaurant was trolling me or not… Who would serve chicken phở with the beef broth? This made me cry! The biggest differences between beef and chicken broth are the color, the taste and the FATS! I was so excited looking at the chicken phở picture in the menu. When I saw the real phở bowl, I was speechless… About their special bun cha ca, it was pretty watered down. For the first time in my Vietnamese food consumption, I didn’t finish everything in there. The chicken wings were the only eatable appetizer that I was able to stomach. I never write 1 or 2 star review for Vietnamese food, especially not the food of my people!!! This place is pretty disappointing during my first visit…

This is my Phở-king spot for their Phở-bulous bowl of PHO! My go to Phở Bowl is the Number 12 with egg noodle. I know it’s weird, but I just don’t like the phở/vermicelli noodles as much as I like their egg noodle. The egg noodle texture is reminiscent of ramen noodles, but soaked up in Phở broth goodness! So good you don’t have to put anything else in the broth! The only thing I typically put in there is the basil leaves. And I LOVE the option of ordering a small or a large! I go for a small when I want to order two meals(those vermicelli bowls and rice plates are freaking good too!).sometimes I can’t decide which one I want to eat! Obviously if I’m ordering two meals it’s because this place is reasonably priced/cheap! Plus, they don’t skimp out on meat… whether in your Phở bowl, rice plate, or vermicelli bowl. LOVE, LOVE this place. I wish downtown would get over the ramen craze and open up a Phở/Vietnamese spot. Or it would be more incredible if Natomas hooked it up! Until then, I’m definitely making the drive out to South Sac! Well worth the drive!
