Went here today for the first time and ordered 10pc hot wings, fries, & the mushroom cheese steak. It was bomb as HELL. Super delicious. I will definitely be back.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it is just as good now as it was then. My sandwich was made just the way I asked and the service was just as friendly as I remember. I would recommend this place to friends and people just passing through.

Good food Good prices Sporty environment Clean I like the banner that has sf giants. Also I read the review of the guy that had a salad… the majority of the menu is meat and sandwiches! Salads are probably not going to be amazing. Try a healthier shop

Typical fare. Big beefy sub sandwiches. Good meat, American cheese, white bread hoagie buns, etc. I was hoping the fish & chips would be good, but they were just okay. The fish are pre-frozen and pre-breaded, not so great. The chips are standard krinkle fries out of a bag. The price was fair, most sandwiches and fish & chip meals in the $ 5-$ 10 range. Fast service. Good communication with the staff on both visits I’ve had. Wish the fish was cut and breaded fresh, but alas this shop is about quick and cheap, not quality.

Mmmm after reading some of the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I work just down the street and was craving for a good cheese steak sandwhich and I love hot wings and was excited when I had called to place my order. all I can say is Disappointing. I was really hoping for a tasty cheese steak sandwhich but all it was was 2 buns filled with what tasted like stir fry beef with onions and tomatoes added. No flavor at all. so I looked past that and started on my extra spicy wings. again Disappointing. it tasted old and dry and feels like it was just tossed into the sauce. and all I was left was a weird feeling in my stomach. Did I make the mistake by ordering to go? Service wasn’t great either, he forgot my order and when I arrived, he had my chicken sitting in a bowl and he dipped it in the sauce and boxed it and gave it to me.

old skool. awesome. 30 wings for 22 bucks ain’t bad. Extra hot is excellente. The hot and spicy was not my type of flavor, but I doctored them up at home w/some bbq sauce. I’ll be back next time I’m craving wingy.

Not the place to order a salad. When asking what the different salads come with they just tell you one or two of the ingredients. Green salad came with iceburg lettuce, tomato, mushroom, croutons, and a side of ranch dressing. They asked if I want onions which said yes, but they left that out. I know this isn’t advertised as a salad shop but when you are the only one in the group who wants something healthy you don’t have a choice.

9 inch philly cheesesteak cost me around $ 7…it was alright, ate the thing in less than seven bites though. my personal philosophy is to be a man of the people and eat at local eateries so i would eat here before subway or togo’s but honestly i could probably make a better cheesesteak sandwich at my house for less than $ 3.

Meaning to come here for a hot minute to try there wings I love love love me some bone in hot wings & after seeing the pictures on Unilocal and hearing about them from my friends; me and mom finally decide to go. Upon arrival we definetly notice that it is hole in the wall with a chain on the tv and all. I noticed there was no AC on & the owners were not very friendly but seem to be working hard. We ordered wings, hamburgers, a roast beef sub, and soda. Packaged & ready to go we head home to eat. Now to the best the wings. Now I see what the fuss is all about. I ordered medium heat and they were just right. For 10 at $ 6 not bad at all. They melt in your mouth and are the best Ive had at a restaurant so far. Everything else though was pretty mediocure. The sub was made with generic ingredients and a standard roll you could buy at the supermarket. Burgers were pretty skimpy and thin as well. Would go back for the wings though

Everything about this place is exactly what you expect. And sometimes, that’s a good thing. The exterior that could have easily been mistaken for a dive bar lead the way to exactly what you would expect from a place like this. An entire loaf of bread piled high with(pretty good quality) meat. Veggies were few and the menu did have a lack of creativity(I would have preffered some cream cheese and avocado on my hot pastrami). Though i really love having the multiple sandwich size options that some of the smaller sandwich shops do not offer. Would I come here on a diet? Noooooo way. Would I come here after a heavy night out drinking? Sign me right up!

Been eating here since I was a kid. The pastrami burger is the best! And of course you gotta get the cheese sauce to dip the fries in!

I don’t eat wings because I’m picky about the arteries(yes I’m one of those) but I couldn’t resist when my husband ordered 50 pieces for only $ 30! It’s so good, I chowed down with no shame! I love the sweet & spicy wings, he prefers the extra hot(which isn’t that hot but the heat grows over time when you are eating wing after wing). We also ordered the steak and pastrami hamburger, it was amazinggggg. Worth every calorie! *Yes it’s a hole in the wall joint and it’s not for yuppies, go to BWW if you want loud music and a highly commercialized sauce. It’s for people who prefer local java cafes instead of the overhyped Starbucks.

This place is bomb! Great small little mom and pop shop! Food is fresh, nothing that’s been sitting around getting soggy. Everything I’ve had on their menu is delicious. My absolute favorite are their wings. The sauce is awesome and they’re so crispy. They offer hot/cold sandwiches, onion rings, fried mushrooms/zucchini, jalapeño poppers, fries and wings of course. They also serve alcohol. The owners are nice welcoming people, very kind and polite. Keep you wanting to come back, great service and great food.

A tasty hole in the wall sub shop. We got a tuna and cheese sub, a nacho steak sub, fries and a couple drinks. The drinks are huge but they give you lots of crushed ice top fill it. The tuna wasn’t anything special but the ingredients tasted fresh. The nacho steak was great and filing. And who doesn’t love crinkle cut fries?! Yum! We’ll have to try the wings next time based on other reviewers.

On my first visit, I had their Jersey Sub, it was good, not great, but good. With this experience in mind, I decided for my second visit, New fish and chip, this one was a little hard to swallow. I’m aware of the buffalo wings and I’m sure it’s gonna taste the best on the menu, but I feel this place is more of a 3 star kinda joint. One thing I’m absolutely sure about is customer service, awesome! Fries with liquid gold cheese… They got me

The sandwiches were just okay nothing really that special but inside was terrible. It’s very old and not very clean either for a food establishment very cluttered and honestly the list just goes on… Oh and I would not use the bathrooms as you will be highly disappointed there as well

I had a metric ass-ton(an ass-tonne) of the sweet and spicy wings. They were great, and my face hurts now. Price is a bit higher than the photos on the gallery on Unilocal here, but not unreasonable. Also, they have a very good $ 2 corn dog.

Picked up a French Dip and a Philly Cheesesteak today for lunch for my dad and I, and Sam’s Sub Shop did not disappoint today. The meat was hot and the onions were cooked just right. Yum. Ordered a small order of fries, they were just OK. (You don’t go to Sam’s Sub Shop for fries, or chips. You go for the sandwiches. My family does, at least. Lol.) I like this place because it’s got sandwiches that are nicely-portioned, and it’s not as busy as Subway. Also, at least when you order a hot sandwich, you can see someone in the back cooking up that bad boy while you wait. You KNOW it’s hot and made to order. Also, where else will you find a talking security door? It’s apart of the charm.
