Sizzler

This was the first and last time we will visit to this particular location. We honestly think this is the worst experience we have ever had in ANY restaurant! The silverware was dirty (we asked to have it replaced), there was something on my glass (bug, dried food… we didn’t know what it was so we asked for a clean glass), the server acted like she wished she was somewhere else, we were never offered any rolls until we asked, never offered a refill on our drinks etc. We had to send our food back twice as the first time my steak was RAW. The second time, half of it was still undercooked (how does that even happen? How does half of a steak remain raw?) We brought this to the attention of our waitress who agreed with us and said she would have the cooks prepare another steak. We waited for what seemed like a long time when Grace, the manager came over unsmiling and just stood there in front of our table with her arms crossed and not saying a word. Grace was unprofessional, rude and appeared to have absolutely NO customer service training. She told us that Rib Eye’s are fatty and that there was nothing she can do about the fat in the steak. We told her we had an issue with the steak being served raw twice and that we eat at Sizzler’s on a fairly regular basis and had never encountered this problem. She thanked us for bringing this to her attention and walked away. We waited over 20 minutes and no steak came, no waitress came, we were just forgotten. We got our server’s attention (after several attempts) and asked where our steak was and she said «Didn’t the manager come over and talk to you»? We told yes but what did that have to to with anything. The waitress said that the manager was not going to replace our steak. We were done with this game so I politely asked her to bring me back the rest of my raw steak so I could recook it at home. They must have tossed it because 10 minutes later they brought us ¹⁄₃ of a perfectly cooked steak. GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION. THIS LOCATION IS UNDER BAD, UNCARING MANAGEMENT!

Honestly each time i go here i feel like the place gets worst each time, if you’re a steak lover like i am i dont recommend coming here. Service is decent though.

We were served by alverado, very pleased with his service, giving refills and checking on us through the the lunch.
Because of him, we highly recommend this sizzler at this location.

Sizzler is still good 15 years later! I ate here on a Tuesday night and there was no wait! I order the 6 Ounce steak with chicken Alfredo! The steak was tinder and the pasta was fresh! They also offers the all u can eat salid bar which also comes with all u can eat dessert and pasta and tacos and soup! I paid 14 dollors for meal and it came out quick! The décor is really clean with about 6 65inch tvs! I would recommend this place for dinner!

Always good service, friendly staff, and managers. Very helpful with takeout, the food is always fresh and warm.

If you crave salad now and then, Sizzlers is the place to be. Its around $ 8 for the salad bar which has more than just salad. It includes fries, wings, soup and much more. You can custom make your own salad with about almost any toppings you like. It’s worth it if you like having salad your way.

Ive been here dozen of times. due to the lack of something better at sizzlers price in the area.
We all know the… order n pay upfront scheme this place has. Which sometimes its cool. because u know what u r going to get and for how much. But ifeel like alot of times i want to. change my mind after my entrée comes trhu andddd the look u get from the cashier when they exoect to see a TIP when u havent even have a gasp of air from the seating area… i always wonder if they pass on the word. about u tipping or not upfront to receive a food or bad service
For this particular location. it is a hit and miss on the service, sometimes i get a good server… sometimes a mediocre one. Sometimes i get my meat cooked at the asked temperature. sometimes i eat it because im not that picky but once i had to send it back as it was super well done n dry.
The only thing i like is the unlimited baby back ribs, they are gone now as of jan 2016… so this last time i had to stuff myself with the good fresh unlimited salad bar… which seriously its prolly all u need if u are trying to stay lean.
Expect to spend 25dlls per person on a super stuffed entrée n salad n drink.

The service was great but then my 81 year old friend had to send her fish back. Had a bad taste. The waitress was wonderful by the way!!! However upon finishing up my friend, who eats really slow needed to take her food with her but she was denied taking her soup due to it being from the salad bar as we were told by the waitress. (The soup came with her meal, not the salad bar) She requested the manager, Mr. Robello, this is where the insults came, she wanted corporate to know they should have takeouts for soup, he says theres no corporate but that they were a franchise and if she wanted to let them know she had to go online. She wanted him to make this suggestion to his leads. He wasn’t going to do this. He belittled her when she told him she would go to the SacBee reviews by saying, «who reads that?»
Basically this guy was rude and disrespectful to an 81 year old who just wanted to take her soup home. In the end my other friend who was with us asked if they had a takeout drink cup. He stated that that was for drinks, finally he just went to get the drink cup, she put her soup in it and we left feeling violated.

Sizzler is Sizzler. This location is clean and the décor is pleasant. Service is fast and friendly.

I would not like to recommend this restaurant to anyone, EVER… I could not seem to get a smile out of any of the employees, including the manager.
Not once did our server stop by and refill my beverage.
My 10 ounce steak with the same size as my friends 6 ounce steak.
When you order a steak and requested medium rare it should not be burnt, and dry all the way through. I expected some pink…
It also came out cold, I’m assuming they simply microwaved it for 30 seconds. …
The seasoning on the steak was significantly overdone, it almost tasted like I poured half a bottle of salt on my steak.
I would have loved to complain about my food but no one ever stopped by my table and asked how my food was. I just got up and left. It was too bad I paid for my food before I sat down.
Definitely never going back. …

Another great dinner! They have added grilled pork chops served over apple chutney to the menu, and it tastes great!!! Chops are a nice, lean comfort dish that makes me yearn for cooler weather. The chops were thick and grilled perfectly. The chutney was chunky, not overly sweet, and complimented the pork perfectly. The portions were generous. I ate one chop at the restaurant and boxed up the other for dinner tomorrow night! As always, the service was good, staff were attentive without being intrusive.

OMG, I love Sizzler, we went there with friends! We took a bit to figure out what we wanted! Not me, I knew I wanted the salad bar! But the rest of the people in my group it took them a few minutes to figure out what they wanted. The guy at the register was very patient with us. So we finally got seated, and our waitress was very attentive. One of our party members wasn’t crazy about his pasta dish he chose. He didn’t know it was going to have meat in it, because he’s a vegetarian. So he just went to the salad bar and got a bowl of beans. But I loved the salad bar. I was able to try a lot of things I’ve wanted to make at home, like the broccoli salad, yuck! Hated it! and I’ve tried to make the brussel sprout salad! Yuck! I hated it at home, and I hated it there, lol, So I had a plate full of stuff I’ve never tried, and pretty much dumped it! Then I just went for the favorites! Salad, and the taco’s Awwwwww, now I’m good!

Seriously after about 3 beers the food looks good and is hot! I have the Malibu chicken and it looks good! I’ll see later tonight if it was ok.
The service was friendly and quick not a big line however it was 5:00 pm pst!
I like pizza and Pepsi. You can get a small child’s pizza but I was kidding about ordering it.
After this I’m going to get my Jeep washed and put gas in it that will double its value too!
I’m wondering if the weather is going be nice all week but i find out by Friday how it was.
I can’t wait to go to Apple Hill for Xmas because it’s so nice and you can get really good apple pies!

Ahhh the sizzler’s at the natomas. I have been here twice now. It’s mostly with my family. Today, we came here to eat and celebrate my step daughters birthday. There was 13 of us and we got seated right away after we have our orders up front. Our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. She even reviewed our orders individually. I know sizzler’s restaurant is a franchise and some staff don’t care about their customers. This one does. I saw other families beside us celebrating (don’t know what they celebrating) but again the staff /​waiter and waitress didn’t mind taking the pictures … For them and for us. I had the steak and all you can shrimp. I had them medium well and they got it right on. Sizzler’s bread is always tasty. The food was satisfying and the service for a franchise was suprisingly good. I can’t remember the Waitress name but she was good. I have been to other sizzler’s in other cities and the service I/​we get is what you expect (2 star lol) the only reason why I didn’t give this place a full star is maybe the cleanliness in the men’s room. It could be a little cleaner should I say for a restaurant but again I expect that for a busy franchise.

The salad bar was outstanding. 4 different soups. Taco bar. Ice cream machine for dessert.
The bad: I ordered a black Angus 12 Oz New York steak expecting to get a high quality steak. I was wrong. My wife’s 6 Oz sirloin was thicker and tasted better. Still the sirloin she had was obviously not high quality. The New York, if I had closed my eyes would have guessed I was eating a hamburger.
If you order just the salad bar the price is up there to where I would question the value. Again the salad bar is excellent, but the price by itself??? It’s about $ 6 add on to a steak meal.

We ordered two salad bars with our dinner and as we were getting our salads we saw cockroaches on the glass. We let the manager know and his response was «oh yeah we have someone coming out tonight, someone told us about this earlier». Um why was the salad bar still open if they were aware of the bugs?

This is the best Sizzler around. I used to go to the one in Roseville on Douglas but they have really gone down hill over the last ten years so if I go, i come all the way here. The reason why i like this one is the freshness, cleanliness, selection, and salad bar is always fully maintained and stocked. Their vegetable beef soup is my very favorite of all soups and I can only get it here. The taste and memory has not changed in over 30 yrs when I tried my first sizzler as a kid. Its hearty with a good flavor.
I usually get the burgundy sirloin tips as it is a lower priced option that is totally tasty. But I also like their steaks. I usually don’t need A1 and that is a good sign.
Here is the negatives:
The hot side isn’t very hot. The onion rings, potato wedges and chicken wings were cold. Not just room temperature, but actually cold and hard.
No real to-​go containers. How do you put rice pilaf in a small square tin foil?
Prices are a tad high. They use to have a great deal to add soup/​salad bar to entrée a few bucks and now it is $ 5. They like to do a lot of add-​ons and that adds up quickly so you can easily spend $ 25 – 35 per person at a sizzler! For that price I usually opt to go elsewhere and have a tough time coming for dinner. After tip I spend $ 20 just for LUNCH! and it is not something I can afford to do everyday. I typically like to spend $ 5 – 7 for lunch so I come about once every 3 – 4 months.

Best salad bar! They recently began offering sweet potato fries, definitely get them. They’re delish!
Favorites from the salad bar: broccoli salad, seafood salad, tuna salad, spinach cranberry salad. The service is always great here. Don’t forget to ask for cheesy bread!

The food and service has always been great. We’ve been here time and time again.
I need a steak every once in a while and Jeremy loves the salad bar. This visit was the usual except there was a religious conference in town and the place was busting at the gills with people. Had to wait to place an order and then wait to be seated. But as always, the food is worth the wait. And the service is always excellent. Even though those poor people working there looked fried, apparentely this religious conference had the placed packed for hours on end for three days straight. I hope they got some well needed rest.
