Managers and staff are very pleasant and friendly. This Subway prides itself on creating yummy sandwiches and salads made from fresh ingredients including freshly baked breads. Try the cookies which are baked twice a day. Lots of choices to satisfy your thirst along with a variety of crispy crunchy chips. The party platters are made to your order specifications. Come on in and see if you agree…

I ordered the chopped salad which was very good and well prepared. At lunch time this place is very busy so be prepared to wait a little bit. However the service is friendly polite and professional. Other than the wait, I have no complaints about this particular subway location.

I come down here once a week and get 10 foot long sandwiches and have them cut them in half. I then take the sandwiches and walk around handing them out to the homeless. The same 2 guys make my sandwiches and they always have a smile on their faces. I love this place. I have really gotten to know the people here and we have created a great relationship. They never complain that they have to make so many sandwiches, and they never rush me.

My most recent luncheon was putting up with the owner’s attitude. I haven’t been eating at Subway in quite a while but I still had some money left on my Subway gift card. I asked the owner to check how much I had left on my gift card. She rolled her eyes and gave me this look as though I was inconveniencing her and proceeded to ask one of the employees to check the balance of my card. This is despite the fact she was near the cash register and could’ve easily checked it herself. It would’ve taken her less than thirty seconds of her time. On the upside, they do make an adequate Spicy Italian, but I don’t need a side of sass to go along with my Spicy Salami Sub.

I come to this Subway around once every couple of weeks when I’m in the mood for a mediocre, affordable sandwiches. In terms of food, this Subway is exactly like every other Subway. However, the woman(who I believe is the owner or at least in charge) who rings people up during lunch time has been nothing but unpleasant to me. I notice her being very nice with everyone else EXCEPT me. I am chalking it up to me being Asian because I otherwise have never done anything to this establishment. Every time I go in she has a new reason to sass me in regards to my order. I went in today and she asked, «what sandwich?» without looking at me. Mind you, she was speaking with another customer at the time so I asked, «Me?». She looks to me like I just asked the stupidest question in the world and says, «Yes…» very condescendingly. She was talking to someone else and expected me to know when she suddenly changed to me? I’m not even a ultra sensitive person, but I’m not going to voluntarily be harassed by a sandwich chain cashier. Not going back.

This is a Subway franchise and should be evaluated as such. The restaurant is a bit smaller than most Subways, but the employees have always been nice and the product is consistent. They honor most of the national sandwich specials. Even with the steep competition just next door, the place still does make a tasty meatball sub and has a strong following. I have been here many times, so they are A-OK.

They don’t accept the $ 5 meal coupon and they way over sauce the sandwiches where there is way to much mayo/mustard. They should put a sign up so people know not to use the coupon. Kinda disappointed since it is at a high traffic area in downtown sac

Most Subway Sandwich restaurants me enjoy! Subway Sandwich, they healthy, but this one across from Sheraton in Sacramento not friendly! I try order just the sandwich, they try upgrade, me try be polite! They not have water, I really do not eat cookies, various chips! Cannot drink sodas, not think HouseKeeping wants clean that! One time the person asks, «THENWHATAREYOUDRINKING?» I said I will not since they not have water, that day there three at Sheraton in line! One says to him, «SHEIS A GUESTATOURHOTEL! SHECOMINGBACKHAVINGSNACKSANDWATER,» I Go along with it! They knowing I enjoy bar snacks and water! Did come back to hotel, had bar snacks, that day Bar Tender Nate asks if I wanted orange juice instead(no charge that day)! Helps give blood I suppose, hey, no charge for orange juice, wow! There probably other Subway Sandwich restaurants near by so next time I not have go through all this rudeness? Of course, Blood Dates, not supposed skip any meals, hence ate here after required refreshments!

Don’t go to this subway. They refuse to participate in Subway promotions such as month-long $ 5 footlong deals. Sandwiches are sloppy and staff seems indifferent. There is a subway 4 blocks away on K street that is much better, and actually participates in the promotions you would expect a Subway to particpate in.

It’s ok for an assembly line sandwich. I used to come here because it is close to work and relatively cheap, but not anymore… – Beware of overcharged sandwich – My $ 5 foot long special cost $ 5.75. I questioned the cashier, and he claims it’s the tax and refused to refund. The tax line says«$ 0.00.» Even if the tax is programmed into the cost of sandwich, it would only have been $ 5 * 8.5% = $ 0.43 or $ 5.43 total.

It was the most descent place we could come up with that was just nearby. I have to say that the workers here were not too generous with most of the veggies. I ordered a turkey breast sub. The amount of turkey was fine. But I like veggies too. I thought that the way they were putting them on, it was not what I am use to. It still tasted okay of course, I did speak out and said to add more lettuce and they did. When you ask, it should at least look slightly different. But it was still too little. Environment was clean. You do need a coin to use the bathroom. The workers will give you one if you need it.

I’ll let you in on my secret on how to never leave here disappointed… understand before you walk in the door that you’re choosing to eat at an internationally known sandwich franchise that sells $ 5 foot longs, fifty yards away from a 134,000 square-foot convention center in the heart of Midtown Sacramento where parking sucks. It’s called expectations folks, and it’s no different than telling yourself that camping out on Black Friday was probably a stupid idea as you’re setting up your tent. It’s a no-frills, high volume store and the lines can be long, with an emphasis on 134,000 square foot convention center fifty yards away, but surprisingly you’re typically in and out. The employees might not be the bright-eyed, bushy tailed sandwich artists we’re so accustomed to seeing, but rather a handful of mundane robots performing like a not-so-well oiled machine on the floor of a Hostess plant. But they, just like everyone else, have their purpose and their purpose, due to their location, is to push out an extremely high volume of sandwiches to an extremely high volume of customers. If you’re looking for white linen and beautiful backdrops, Grange is four blocks away but if you want a quick and inexpensive sandwich to go and you’re not looking for engaging conversation about the family… you’ll probably leave here with what you came for, a sandwich.

I work down the street and come here often. If you’re looking for a cheap meal, then Subway is always a good option. I don’t know why other reviews complain about the horrible sandwiches at THIS location… since they’re exactly the same at all Subways. Every sandwich I get from every Subway location is made in exactly the same way. When it comes down to it, it’s still a fast food restaurant. The Italian deli and Romanian soup shop on either side also serve sandwiches, which are obviously not going to be mass produced. But you get what you pay for. So if you want a good quality sandwich, go next door, but be prepared to pay the price difference. If you want a quick cheap meal, come to Subway. The line can be out the door around noon, especially if there’s something going on at the Convention Center. I usually got at 11:30 and there might be 2 people in front of me. Parking is horrible(unless you manage to find a spot on the street). Side walk is always crowded with lunch-goers. And there’s only one outdoor table. But this shop isn’t really meant to be a «destination» store… more to serve the near by workers and any convention attendees. But as a local worker, it’s the best place within walking distance to get a quick $ 5 sandwich that will satisfy my hunger.

My first experience going into this subway was awkward and horrible. I got a footlong toasted sandwich with just veggies. The guy making the sandwich made me feel completely uncomfortable with his crazy robot gaze and stern tone. Barely got any veggies and he put the wrong sauce on(i was too afraid to ask for the other). The woman ringing me up was also very robotic and weird. She charged me for what seemed like everything. I was charged for getting it toasted AND dine out tax. What the hell? Bad customer service and super cheapos ripping their customers off. Btw, I gave this place 2 more chances and had the same unsatisfying, uncomfortable, awkward experience both times again(I live 2 blocks away). They really need to read some of these reviews and reevaluate their service and business because it is not working. Also, I wanna add, I not one to go on Unilocal and bitch at every restaurant that personally gave me bad service but this place is just so weird, I was relived to read I’m not the only one.

Eat fresh, just do it at a different Subway because this one has more problems than available ingredients. Such as… Sloppily made sandwiches Long lines at lunch hours No parking Moody employees A lot of vagrants outside

Worst Subway EVER!!! These people are 2 blocks from us and we ALWAYS go to one further down J street . 1) They refused to deliver to us even though they say they deliver. They gave no reason when I asked. Just another«No» 2) They wanted to charge my son for(2) 6″ subs instead of the 12″ price because he only wanted half of it toasted.(He saves the second half for later). Rip Off 3) The quality was sub-par and did not taste fresh at all. They were also very skimpy. 4) Not one person smiled or said thank you I will NEVER go back If you were hungry, these people will make you lose your appetite quickly

Of course Subway is just Subway, and you get same quality that you’d expect from this super chain here. The one thing that I wanted to point out, and the reason for even reviewing a Subway in the first place is that it’s downtown and you can get your sandwich and go in about 5 minutes, faster if there’s not a long line.

Okay. I’ve been here once before. Average service. Just came back from there. annoyed. I didn’t want to tell them how to do my sandwich but about a good two inches was not covered by my cheese. Not only that but the two workers that helped me sounded like they hated their job and wanted to take it out on me with their tone. Although I didn’t enjoy my 5 minute experience, I don’t have the patience to walk down a few blocks further for my sandwich.

How can you screw up a sub? The people at this Subway find a way. They make it their BUSINESS to find a way. I’m usually stuck at the Sheraton for work when I’m in Sacramento and I end up here because it’s right across the street, so its very convenient, and I won’t ever pay $ 17 for room service to deliver wings to me again… even if my employer is footing the bill… just off of principle alone. More than that, I like the fact I know how many calories are in my sandwich when I go there… But damn it if this Subway isn’t trying to make me hate the whole chain. They don’t have spinach, charge extra if you want to substitute cookies instead of chips, they don’t have lite lemonade, the DO have terrible attitudes(ranging from apathetic to rude) and you have to beg them to put more than the bare minimum of everything on your sandwich. It’s a disaster every time I go there. It’s a sandwich for God’s sake… how is it that no one there can put together a decent sandwich and not have a crappy attitude? Whoever the manager/owner is there is doing the worse job imaginable.
