The Club At Natomas Park

Rude rude rude and discriminating. We are new to Sacramento and we rented a house here in this area. But they would not let us use the clubhouse because we are renting. We offered to pay a monthly fee even to join but they wouldn’t let us. The front desk staff was rude and the manager was not better. Our address is on their list of homes allowed to use this facility However we are not allowed to, even if we wanted to pay.

I mean, where do I even begin with the wonderful oasis that is DA CLUUUB. Since I purchased my house, I have been frequenting the Club at Natomas Park for 3 years. The customer service I’ve experienced with the front office staff has been hit or miss. When I called to ask how to add a significant other to my membership, I was given the third degree over the phone, and I believe it ended on a «you can add them once we see that marriage license» note. So not the greatest conversation I’ve ever had, but when I came in subsequently to make the addition, I spoke to someone else who was extremely courteous and more than happy to help us.
The amenities here are fabulous. There are three pools to enjoy, all of which are mostly family-​oriented, but I understand that I don’t live in midtown where all the cool single people live. I’m in the sprawl, man, and family living is the lifestyle around here. The lagoon pool I tend to stay away from because there are little children running a muck everywhere with blood curdling screams. If you hang out at the lap pool, the waterfalls tend to drown out the sounds of the screaming kids, and hanging out in the cutout is relaxing and fun. There’s a children’s hot tub and an adult hot tub for all us dinks to enjoy the solitude. Friday happy hour is my favorite time to hit the bar at the pool! I get my $ 8 carafe of wine, a large cup of ice, and I bask in the remaining sun for the day. The grill and bar always offer very reasonable prices, and it seems apparent that they aren’t trying to make money off the members.
My other favorite aspect is the fitness center. From my understanding (I don’t go to the association meetings, okay? Bad resident!) they are expanding the gym which makes me soooo happy. The classes here are awesome! Tiffany is definitely my favorite instructor because she will kick your butt and still motivate you to come back to class even though sometimes you feel like your whole body is in horrible pain.
Overall, CLUB, you get 5 stars. The only thing I’d change is that I would build cages to put the children in so they stop annoying me, and better Christmas lights this year. Last year was pitiful.

We are home shopping in the area and our real estate agent said for us to check out the amenities at the Club House. He was very encouraging about the place and said it was well worth the $ 69 HOA fees. My wife and I decided to go over and check out the place on our own.
A simple 30 second interaction told me everything I wanted to know about the place.
We got there and told the front desk we were looking to buy in the area and wanted to see inside. The front desk agent shakes his head and says «No». They said we could only go in if our real estate agent was present. We then asked if we could be shown the place by their own people and they said no. «No, only if your real estate agent is present». I ask again because I can’t believe what I’m hearing. We simply wanted to see what they had to offer if we lived in the area.
I don’t know what they are afraid of. We didn’t have a bag, we weren’t wearing swim suits or gym clothes, we just got back from open house shopping.
I have a hard time understanding their logic. There is no logic to it and that’s what scares me. We are prospective customers who would be willing to pay them money but turn us away because we don’t have an agent; an agent who in their eyes may not know a thing about the place.
I can’t imagine buying a house here and God forbid we leave the garage door open or not mow the lawn because we’re on vacation. Not worth the hassle.
We have heard horror stories about HOAs from families and friends, but was willing to give «The Club at Natomas» a shot. Because of all the wonderful things we had heard about it! But after that interaction, we will definitely not be buying a home with an HOA in that area!

Sorry I have to be the downer for this place, but I think the workers either take their jobs a bit too seriously, or they’re just not consistent, which makes the visit quite unenjoyable and awkward.
I’ve been coming here for at least 5 years. I’ve always had a blast! Swimming, chilling, partying, even working out. However, I recently went here for a party, and it wasn’t like before. My visit was enjoyable up until maybe 45 min before the party ended.
I was playing with my «niece-​in-​law» at the pool. I didn’t bring a bathing suit, so I stood outside of the pool and was throwing these little toys at her. She wanted me to do it, so I happily agreed. I didn’t think it was a big deal since I saw KIDS throwing random S*** all over the pool too, almost hitting other people. So I was throwing the toys into the pool and she was diving to search for them. I wasn’t throwing them far either. Maybe just a few feet away from her and other people. I was being careful to not hit anybody. We were having fun, then all of a sudden, the «Pool Attendant» comes by and says I can’t throw stuff in the pool. Do you not see the KIDS throwing stuff everywhere?! Talk to them too! Whatever. I didn’t want us to get kicked out, so I stopped.
I’m all about pool safety and whatnot, but if I’m being told to not do something, then EVERYBODY else should be told the same thing. Be consistent with your rule enforcements.
I really do enjoy coming here because it is very relaxing and pretty. However, my recent visit just annoyed me because I felt like she singled me out and was telling only me to not do something while others were free to do whatever they wanted. Also, the «Pool Attendant» was hanging around our group too, maybe keeping an eye out. I just felt really weird after that moment.
I suggest be more consistent with enforcing the rules on your guests.

Wow what a beautiful place to come and relax! I came here for a child’s birthday party and was very impressed with the amenities and beauty of this club. It feels like a small resort! Multiple swimming pools, palm trees, shaded relaxation areas, outdoor bar, waterfall, gym, hot tub and even an enclosed play area with a playground for little kids. This is a perfect place to escape and relax! 5 stars

Where else do you get a gym, awesome pools, and a great happy hour for $ 69 a month. This is one of the best things about living in Natomas.

We love it here! We are new to Sacramento and feel very fortunate to be a part of this community. We signed up for the recreation swim team and love being here almost every day for most of the summer. The RiverCity coaches have been great to us!

I love the pools here. I feel like I’m on vacation every time I visit. Waterfalls, palm trees, 2 hot tubs, a kiddy pool, a lap pool and a swim pool. Love working out when I get time on my hands! Unfortunately I’ve been so busy lately.
They offer work out classes. They have a decent gym. Quite tiny but it does the job.
They also have many seasonal events.
And a lounging room to watch tv, study, or relax.
And don’t forget the free popcorn, cookies and coffee!
Friendly staff as well :)

Great place for families to come out and socialize with their neighbors. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and chill environment. We are there about 2 – 3 days a week.

I love The Club at Natomas! They have swimming, club house with full bar and food, fun events for adults and kids, plenty of entertainment and state of the art fitness area! Summer is coming, should be another good one here=)
