4 stars for their #2! Mmmmm. It’s a good place to come for a quick meal but don’t come here if you want something fancy… I’ve come here alone for lunch a couple times. And honestly the service doesn’t bother me because usually when I need something I just flag someone down and ask and they always return quickly with what I asked for. Otherwise, I’m glad I can just eat in peace, pay and leave.

Walked In, No greeting, Self search for seat for two, Sat down on dirty sticky benches, menu look good, ordered #3 special and #13 Duck soup. Bland, Plain, No Flavor. It might taste better if i didn’t have to pay for shitty food. Never returning unless last place on earth to eat for survival.

The food is decent, service is nearly unacceptable at any rate. I came in for a pick up and was confused since nobody was at the register. I mean, nobody was even nearly in sight, as customers just began to stare at me — since most just sit down for a meal. The man with blonde highlights gave me a menu and after thirty seconds asked for my order, I told him the Daikon Egg Cake. Although, he asked me if that was the correct order about four times, to which I replied yes. I didn’t understand why he asked as it wasn’t noisy but he gave me a bewildered look, as if I don’t know what I was ordering? Right. . Anyways, it was very greasy in many areas and lacked consistency. I’ve had the noodles here and they’re not bad, although nothing spectacular either. I just don’t see any reason to come back, unless I really have no choice otherwise. When the man handed me my to go order, he didn’t even look at me in the eyes or say anything and then got in the middle of me from the edge of the table? I don’t know, this was a very strange experience to say the least and rather uncomfortable. Cheap pricing for most dishes, however, I’m not gonna let that swoon me over back here. Learn some manners, perhaps I’ll be back when that happens.

This was actually my second time here. My coworker and I came here for noodle soup! I am tickled that they open early in the morning and serve lunch/dinner type meals! The restaurant isn’t anything fancy. It is basic but efficient. You come in and someone will give you a seat and menu! They’ll ask for a drink order and come back to take your order. After that… the meal comes and they leave. It’s that simple! No one comes back to check in on you. After you’re done eating you walk over and pay at the front counter. My soup came with all the fixings! The broth part comes more on the plain side! They have condiments on the table. You pick what you’re interested in depending on what your taste buds has a hankering for! I guess I am on the crazy side because I liked the fish sauce, the oyster sauce, and the sriracha sauce! As we sat and devoured our meal, I noticed a ton of foot traffic here. I guess there’s a huge population that enjoys lunch/dinner like meals for breakfast! Lol. Like I said before, this is a simple and efficient type place! Lots of people enjoy it here. I’ll be back to try other menu items!

This place is open to early everyday. One thing is that you must bring CASH! It is a cash only place. The ATM that is nearby does have a FEE. So be prepared. It is a good place to grab some Vietnamese/Chinese noodles. Quick service. The menu has visuals for the different noodles you would want. I usually order the dry noodle with XO sauce with soup on the side. When you add the chili sauce and hosing sauce it is perfect. The prices have changed since the last time I have been here so they only serve one size and one price now depending what you order.

I love TK Noodle, been eating their food for as long as I could remember. Don’t expect excellent service here cause you won’t get that, but I’m used to it at places like this. They do have a lot of seating though which is nice because you don’t really have to wait for a table even when it’s busy. I always order the combination wonton rice stick noodle soup

Everyone is saying this place is bad but you know what… they still keep coming back. I only come for the number 3 with extra fried pork. Price is decent and the amount you get is satisfying. Service is quick. I think the issue here is that when u ask for something the waiter or waitress just nods at you. Alot of ppl probably thinks this is a rude gesture but honestly I don’t care and they probably don’t care either cause everytime I come here it’s always packed. As long as they are open, I’ll keep coming.

I see people on my newsfeed come here all the time. The three times I have been here were bad experiences. Two of the times, I found hair in my soup. What are the coincidences of it happening to me? And the other time, along with the other two times, I just feel like the soup is not up to par. It’s not hot when it comes out. It’s just warm. I love noodle, but I’ll be somewhere else for my noodle soup fix.

Number 1 and Number 8 are the best noodle soups! This place is a fast paced noodle spot so don’t expect super good service! But anyways the noodle soups are bomb especially the beef balls they use because it’s so tender and lean and just freaking good and the pork skin they put in the soup is also really good so when I come I always ask for a side of it. My cousins really like there chili paste because he said it makes the noodle soup fire but I’m not really a spicy person so I never tried it. The portions are pretty big so that’s a bonus too since it isn’t expensive either! But beware this place is cash only! Overall this place is pretty good for some light and delicious noodle soups!

This place has been here forever. The noodle soup is strangely addicting, must be the msg. Cheap and fast comfort food. I always get the number 1. This place does not take credit card, so bring cash!

I like coming to eat here. It’s never so busy when I go. They have a variety of food selections, even the menu has pictures of majority of what they serve. The price is reasonably cheap. You get large portions as well and it’s always good. So you always get what you paybl for. Not one complaint about their food. The only issue is that they lack on customer service, they seem to never check on you or refill your waters. You have to constantly ask them. It’s like they want to just get you out the way, not very friendly or social people. But bring me my water! Du ma! Lol but give it a try if you haven’t. If you want to go eat at a place where you get big portions for the money worth, quick food(literally within 5mins or faster from putting in your order), and dip on out. Then this is the place. Try it out!

I think for the price this place is decent — don’t expect anything great but it’s quick and for an Asian place I feel like the service is really good! They’re fairly nice and will get you everything you want. I go when I’m craving noodle soup or I just specifically want TK Noodle for some reason. I usually get the rice porridge or combination wonton noodle. Both lack some flavor so I’ll add in some hoisin /pepper. The flour cakes are okay too — they have peanuts in them which I pick out cause they kind of breakup the flavor in my opinion. This place is cash only and everything is one size only(large). The portions are huge — one entrée is enough for two people IMO! Go if you’re in the area and you’re feeling it — but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it or anything. Way better places nearby.

Horrible service experience. CASHONLY. Came in with my boyfriend for dinner. We didn’t know if we seat ourselves or if a worker would seat us. When we entered, there were 2 workers in front of us. They knew we were there but didn’t acknowledge us. So we stood there awkwardly waiting for a response. After waiting for so long we just seated ourselves. Couple of groups came in after us and received menus and got their order taken before a waiter gave us our menus. Food is super cheap and average. They only serve large for the noodle soups so you definitely get full for what you are paying. You’re getting what you’re paying for.

I’ve been coming here since I was about 10 years old and it hasn’t changed one bit here(in a good way!) On a gloomy Saturday morning my boy friend and I decided to got some noodles since it was perfect for the weather. Let me just say I’ve seen the same people working here for years! The customer service is sometimes rude but don’t take it to heart it’s a fast pace environment and it gets full quick. Don’t expect to be getting checked up on like in other places but it’s totally cool with me sometimes I don’t want to be bothered while in in deep conversation lol We ordered number 6, 16 and 28. I literally have no words just take a look at the picture it was all so delicious! I give the food 4.8 stars :)

I have to review this restaurant based on the kind of restaurant it is. The noodles here are amazing! The restaurant itself is a little run down and you often times have to share a table with others, but the food is worth it. The service was good(again, not expecting high end treatment here). I would highly recommend the duck Phở. I also have had their combination plates which are good, but they specialize in noodles. I don’t like that the sodas are from a can so you can’t really get a refill(drinks are important to me). I don’t really know what else to say other than it is very good. It is very authentic so if you are a fan of Phở you will like this restaurant; they have just about every combination of Phở you can imagine and all the fixings to go with it(siracha, jalapenos, etc.).

You definitely don’t come here because of the service but I kind of expect that from quick Asian restaurants/noodle houses. Right when you walk in and make eye contact with an employee and inform them of how many in your party, they will direct you(by direct I mean point) to a table for your party. Almost immediately after you sit at your table you are handed menus followed by water. I kid you not, within a minute of two of being handed your menu you are asked if you are ready to order. And 5 – 10 mins after you order, your food is being brought out to enjoy. I don’t think I’ver ever been in here for more than 30 mins at any one visit. They’re definitely not about making you feel cozy or anything and are all about the quick turn around, which I’m totally fine with. They also always seem to be busy and have people constantly coming and going to eat. Their soup is pretty good but even better once you customize it to your liking with all the condiments on the table. Their iced coffee is even better. I almost always order one to go. Overall, not the best but not terrible. Quick, affordable and filling. Great combo in my book. !!!CASHONLY!!!

I’ve actually remember coming to TK Noodle for a long time after the SF Supermarket and the Asian strip mall has opened since 2001. My family and I are always coming to TK Noodle many times because of their food, and better value at a lowest price. Years come by, I decided to revisit that place despite I saw some mixed reviews for this Sacramento’s TK Noodle. A brief history, TK Noodle did opened their first ever location at San Jose back in 1983, and since then, it open many locations decades later across the Bay Area(mostly in San Jose), Stockton, and Sacramento. As I entered, the atmosphere is quite a mixed-bag. The décor is outdated and bland as it opened since 2001. The table with benches attached is quite dirty as usual after it cleaned off. The service is ok. Some good, helpful people, some of them don’t care because of the rush ordering commute inside the restaurant despite the amount of people. I’m surprised that TK Noodle usually opened an hour before it open at 9 am, so it’s a good thing for some. For the food ordering process, I’ve usually ordered the #1 item, the Combo rick stick noodle soup. So far, it tasted good, yet it’s closely bland for me. The soup is closely salty because of the MSG or adding too much salt on it before it boils up. The meats(meatballs, shrimp, pork slices, and chicken pieces) tasted quite good although some of them does have fats on it which I usually bite it off before I ate it. It’s a quite a good meal, yet it needs some improvements of the soup and adding fresh meats too. Additionally, I’ve also ordered the #8 which it’s similar to #1, yet it’s an egg noodle soup. So far, it also tasted good, but closely bland. Finally, the #24 combo rice plate is defiantly tasty for me! The sauce that attatched the meats and lettuce tasted so good which I can finished the meal entirely! Not a bad meal for that #24 item! There’s a good, ample of parking at this Asian strip mall, so you can park there easier without the hassles. My recommendation, park farther, so you can park easier to avoid the SF Supermarket’s crowds during the daylight. In the end, TK Noodle in Sacramento is a good, average restaurant where you can get your favorite noodle soup in no time. I’ll give this place: a 3 solid stars because I come to this place frequently for over a decade ago. A closely worthy visit.

I’m not a fan of their service, but it’s a Chinese restaurant, we don’t come for the service. Honestly when I was younger, I really didn’t like this place, I don’t really know why I didn’t, and I can’t even remember why I didn’t like it. But my friend loves this place. He said that when he was still living in Merced, that he and his family would always stop by TK noodle for soup before they would go back home. I always thought, WHY?! Anyway, he convinced me to eat at TK and the menu is so simple you can’t really order phở, because it’s not a phở restaurant. They offer egg noodle soup, Flat noodle and wonton. They also have pancake(i can’t really explain them) but it’s like the korean pancakes but at a Chinese restaurant. Chow fun and the dried bird nest noodle thing that I never really knew how to eat. What we ordered: the number one, which is just the flat noodle with a combination of toppings, like shrimp, beef and chicken. I ordered the same but I added wontons. What it tasted like: I really enjoyed it and I think it’s very flavorful. It’s even better when you ask for the pork grinds. I like to eat mine separately but people like putting them in their soup. The price is super cheap, but keep in mind it’s cash only. The service here is very simple. You walk in, you can grab a menu or they seat you and grab a menu for you. They give you water and if you finish your water, you can go up and refill it yourself, and if they’re not too busy talking or restocking, then you can try to ask them for a refill. Other than that, that’s it, you probably won’t get anything else unless you can get someones attention. Course id come back, i’m a fan of TK noodles

Basic fat noodles soup. Although, cheap and delicious! They have changed their noodle size to LARGEONLY now, which is difficult for me to finish. Their broth is not as flavorful anymore, so I’ve visited less now. I do like their pepper sauce they provide as a side condiment. Wish more placed served this type of noodle broth(still have not tried Lollibowl). Service:Make sure to ASKFOREVERYTHINGYOUNEEDASAP because no one comes back to help you. CASHONLY!

The food here is really good, I enjoy coming here with my folks after grocery shopping at SF supermarket. The workers there are there to work only so keep that in mind when you’re here so don’t expect much from customer service. This place is absolutely delicious and the prices for everything is dirt cheap. I really like the combination wonton soup #3 If they didn’t change the menu. I really like their pork skin that is in the soup as well it gives a good flavor to the soup. This place is cash only! You pay the bill at the front of the store they don’t drop off the check at your table. There is a bathroom in the back.
