Awesome! Everything I have ever had was absolutely awesome! Everyone we have ever recommended this place too says it is wonderful comfort food and really nice staff!

If you’re looking for healthy food then go somewhere else. I’ve tried different things and always leave satisfied. The tots with chilie cheese sauce is awesome. The Burger I between two grilled cheese is so yummy. The basic burger is awesome! Come hungry and leave full!
Also the owner give free tickets to the Kings occasionally if you follow them on Instagram which is cool.
Also the owner lives in Natomas so I love supporting local!

I really want to love this place.
It’s part of the North Natomas hood. You’re most likely to only know about it, if you live around these parts.
Willies has been open about three years. Good enough reason to finally give the place a try.
We called the order in (after finding it online). The website doesn’t offer many pictures, just box icons of what they might serve.
The gentleman we spoke with was pretty nice, took the order, but never asked my name or for my phone number.
Our to go order was ready on time. The prices were higher than what we expected
The pastrami burger was overdone, but had flavor. It was a «four bite» sandwich. Not the Big Bang for the amount spent.
My mouth was watering for the garlic fries. They were dry. (and a pretty small amount for what we were charged)
The garlic was placed on top. Just a suggestion, add a little garlic oil also, and toss those babies.
The wings tasted like backyard bbq. Tasty sauce. The meat had a microwaved texture. Not sure if they were, or maybe reheated? The sauce seemed to be a cover up. Not horrible, just not the bang I was hoping for.

This burger place is so good the hot pastrami burger is to die for will definitely be back

I’m an advocate for supporting small local business but I refuse to support your restaurant. Support and respect for a community must go both ways. When you slow down driving through our neighborhood, then I’ll come support you. I’m terrified you’re going to mow over a neighbor as you plow through our streets without any respect for your community. It’s a huge reflection on you when someone drives crazy down our street and all the neighborhood kids say, «It’s probably Willy J!»

Love this place. Breakfast burrito is incredible. My favorite thing about WJ’s is every now and then you can catch the owner lecturing an employee or an applicant. Bonus entertainment! Only complaint is that I wish Nutritional Values were listed on their website.

I just had their bacon cheeseburger and it was EXCEPTIONAL! I ordered it with everything on it. I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items!

I had an urge to have French fries, so decided to drop by at Willie J’s for the first time. Before getting in the restaurant, I noticed their business hours Mon-​Thu 8 am — 8:30 pm, Fri-​Sat 8 am — 9 pm, and Sun 9 am — 8 pm. I didn’t know they are open for breakfast. It looks like they serve good old American food. I just ordered garlic fries extra crispy to go. It was about $ 5 and they served a good restaurant quality garlic fries. One thing I did not like was that my French fries were not extra crispy as I ordered. It would attract more customers if they can offer alcohols. I will definitely come back here to have some burgers in the future.

Enjoyed a good burger today! We loved the mushroom burger, nice and savory! We loved the French fries.

It’s like a small diner right in your neighborhood. We’ve supported the business since it opened three years ago in Natomas. The service is excellent. The food is always good. Located in the Natomas dollar tree and CVS shopping center. Staff was friendly. They have a lot of menu items. I tried the Willie burger. It has two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns for a hamburger. The hamburger meat was good, but it was hidden in all that bread from the grilled cheese and there wasn’t as much cheese as I expected. Will be back to try the hamburger instead.

this place is small but that’s ok though. this review is gonna be short now lets get to it then .
first time coming to this establishment and i will come back considering it’s pretty close to where i work.
I had a cheeseburger with a some fries, loved the fries but i feel the burger was missing something will try a different burger next time.
customer service wasn’t perfect but i will let it slide since i was in a good mood today:).

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat after a long day shopping. I would really give this place 4.5 stars, if Unilocal allowed it. Good burgers, great fries :)
Atmosphere: Come as you are! One customer was even getting a To-​Go order in her pajamas.
Ambience: This is where I think the establishment could approve. There were some younger guys just hanging out, no food or drink, they were just chilling. I think some call it loitering, lol!!! Seemed a tad sketchy when they all walked out and then 5 minutes later came back in and sat back down in the corner where they weren’t visible to the staff, still no food or drink.
Food/​Drink: A HUGE Menu with a lot of variety!!! They even had an ostrich burger (say what?!) I got the bacon & avocado cheeseburger and I was able to eat ½ of it. Very good and very filling.
Final thought: Was met with a hello upon walking in the door and workers were very pleasant, really good food, fries stand out as exceptionally yummy.
I’ll give them a second chance for dine in, but will totally be doing To-​Go!

Not only do they have regular hamburgers, I did see a few exotic meats such as lamb, ostrich, wagyu, and boar, though I’m sure there were more. I decided on the BBQ burger $ 5.95, garlic tots $ 3.95 with a small soda $ 1.35 and a corn dog for the little brother (I THINK $ 2.95). The BBQ burger was cooked well and came with 2 big, crispy onion rings, 2 thick slices of bacon, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce.
All burgers were around $ 5 – 7.50 I believe. I did see a salmon burger, as well as, a turkey burger plus the other more exotic meats. My sister also swears on their wings, I only saw buffalo, teriyaki and BBQ sauce options though.
All items are a la carte, so a meal could run you around $ 10 person with a burger, fries and a soda. Kids meals are the same way, however I got a small garlic tot and just shared that with my little brother.

First time eating a Willy burger. Grill cheese sandwiches for buns? Who could ask for more. Add some garlic fries and you’ll be completely satisfied. Just keep a gallon of water handy for the after thirst. Can’t wait to return to try another of their many entrée choices.

Stumbled upon this little place… A good find! So much to choose from– breakfast, lunch, burgers, dessert and more! Bacon cheese burger and fries was delish! A really good fresh burger with all the fresh fix-​ins. Mm mmm good! Loved the thick cut perfectly cooked and seasoned fries! We will go back again and again! Nice find in Natomas.

Anytime I’m near this place I have a sudden urge to go in and purchase their buffalo wings with a side of fries.
It takes a while to cook though, but it’s definitely worth the wait. The buffalo wings are a ¹⁰⁄₁₀. When they come out you can just inhale the flavor and can taste it just by smelling it. Dip the wings in the ranch they give you and you have a burst of perfection in your mouth.
Plus, the service is really good!

I wanted to go off the beaten path and try a place that wasn’t a chain. We were in Natomas and we were in the mood for a burger and found Willie’s!
We looked over the menu and was delighted that Willie’s has a great variety of menu items. Everything from catfish po’ boys, chilli dogs, breakfast items, chicken over rice, sammies, fries (regular, sweet potato, tots, chillli, and garlic), wings, and burgers, not just beef either! They had beef, turkey, ostrich, venison and lamb, if you desire.
We just ordered cheeseburgers with everything on it. It did take them some time for our food but it was worth the wait! The burgers were juicy and some of the cheese had crispy parts to it, similar to the cheeseburgers at Squeeze Inn but without it being all crispy! I’ve been to Squeeze Inn and wasn’t impressed, hence the, «no review.» I also loved that the bun didn’t fall apart albeit there was enough of the condiments in my burger. I hate buns that can’t stand up to a juicy burger. Oh, and hey! They have a a burger challenge for any of you competitive eaters out there! For $ 19.95, it’s three grilled cheese sandwiches, seven pieces of cheese on four patties and eight pieces of bacon! Easy! Any takers? You’ll get a free Tee out of it!
This was one of my better Unilocal finds and hope to frequent this place more often if I’m in the area.
