After we purchased our faux-wood blinds from a large home improvement store, we found out that the blind manufacturer we ordered had a production issue with all of their products. We initially placed an order on December 9th we were told our blinds would not even ship until March 3rd. After this, the store said we could either wait or cancel the order. My husband and I were stuck between a rock and a hard place to try and cover our 23 windows with some sort of blinds after purchasing the home without any. My co-workers suggested I try out Wyman Fabrics because they’ve been around a long time and have a good history. On a whim, I walked into Wyman and explained our situation to Ryan. He was confident that they could order a similar product with a 2 week install time frame because the manufacturer he uses is based in Southern California and there is no issue with shipping or the strike in the Port of Oakland(which was apparently the reason behind the others production issue). I took a look at the products and Ryan told me to go ahead and take the samples home to show my husband. We were impressed with the product and sent a follow-up email with a few questions and he promptly answered that day. After a few back and forth emails, he answered all of our questions thoroughly and we decided to proceed with the order. Ryan then made himself available the very next day after I got off work to come out and measure the windows. He quickly measured all the windows and ensured that once we ordered them they would be here in an appropriate timeframe. As soon as the blinds were delivered he was able to come out the very next day to install them. When he was installing the kitchen greenhouse window he saw that it was not cut properly so he decided to take it with him(after I said it would be just fine to do that) and have it cut properly and he would come out again that next week to install it. He also noticed that there were two valances that were cut too short so he would also reorder those to make sure they were cut properly and left the valances up until the new ones came in, which came in the next week. Needless to say, he delivered quickly and all our blinds were installed well before the original brand that we ordered would have even shipped. We were very impressed with his customer service and his ability to communicate and work in a quick timeframe. After this experience, we will certainly recommend his services to anyone looking for an option for window treatments.
