Here’s my issue: I like Hockey… not a lot of people like hockey, so do I write a negative review because I can’t get it my way? No, absolutely not, but this is what I found… The Good: The place is big, and has a lot of room to sell more goods. On top of that, it really wasn’t messy at all, seemed neat, and pretty squared away. Even the staff seemed friendly. Being right next to a Walmart, store traffic is usually very mild, and they give 10% discount to Police and Military, and 15% discount to the gym. The Bad: Here’s what I found odd. While it is roomy inside, It seemed like the selections have gone down and the prices have gone up. They took the hockey section out… why? There are people that play lacrosse that much more? I don’t understand it at all. On top of that… How do you give a better discount to Gym members than the actually people defending the country? I guess they rather you look good and fit representing this country, than look ugly serving and defending it. Overall: They had a ton of Giants, Jets, Mets, and Yankee apparel. As for the Devils and Rangers, just a few things. But I understand, not a lot of hockey demands I guess. But how do you sell dart boards accessories(darts and the fins for them), bright neon green tennis shirts, field hockey stick, and 2 toned ghetto baseball caps? Yet, not a single street/ice hockey stick? You’ll have a aisle of coolers, but no hockey equipment? HUGE baggy sagging basketball shorts… key word is «SHORTS», and not a single hockey ball or puck? How is this not brought up to management? You sell more baggy shorts than hockey equipment? The demand for those ugly field hockey sticks is that much more than street/ice hockey equipment? Again, not writing a bad review here, just stating the facts. I was able to buy work boots for my dad, but again… I just felt the selection had gone down, and the clearance rack needs some attending. They had t-shirts with ex player names on them for a few dollars less than the shirts with the players still on the team? How does that make sense. So because this guy got traded 2 years ago, you’re only going to take $ 4 off the sticker price? Yeah… I want that!

I had two objectives when coming into this store: 1. find some Giants gear 2. find some thermal tops cheaper than what’s offered at Foot Locker The Giants section is weak. Only one type of t-shirt and one type of long-sleeve shirt. There were several jackets, pajamas, and jerseys. I never wear jerseys of any sport. The only name that I’ll wear on my back is my own. So jerseys are out. One style of t-shirt was very disappointing and the $ 25 price tag wasn’t appealing either. The long sleeve shirt was a joke at $ 34. I don’t need a jacket or pajamas. The selection of thermal tops was even more disappointing. They had two brands; Beverly Hills Polo Club and a no-frills work brand. I’ll never wear Beverly Hills Polo Club and the other brand was only sold as a set. I don’t work outdoors nor do I live in Minnesota, so i don’t have a need for thermal pants. Fail…
