Always helpful and honest. Have checked out dead and dying Apple products and in some cases could fix them, in other cases said it wasn’t worth it and didn’t push for me to buy anything right away, and tweaked a slow old iPad and a dead iPhone without a fee. Best thing was their advising me to contact my credit card company when my mini iPad burned up for no reason, was out of the manufacturer’s warranty but turns out was still covered by MasterCard under its automatic extended warranty plan that I didn’t even know existed … and they filled out the forms I needed, printed a copy of the original sales receipt from their store, and I got a full refund from the credit card company(minus sales tax)! They set up the new iPad for me and it was great! (The only problem is that people walking in the store can stand around and be ignored if it’s crowded. They could use a sign in station, to be fair to customers… first in, first served.)

If you’re feeling desperate and not wanting to take the time and effort to travel to a real Apple Genius Bar at a real Apple store — which was our situation — beware. Staff are arrogant and ill informed, took no responsibility for their own screw-ups. But if you’re ready to have whatever is not working replaced with new items, they’re fine. They give geeks a bad rep.

Sheryl, Mike, Amy and the crew are a godsend for any MAC users. Regular customers can send an E mail with a problem at midnight and usually get an instantaneous answer. This is a no nonsense place — if they tell you something isn’t worth fixing listen to them rather than go elsewhere and waste money. They also have a superb instructor(Elliot) for those looking to learn about Apple products. Individual instruction, group classes, and free classes available.

Overpriced and Sub-par. This store has a reputation in the Hampton’s for offering Apple products, support and training. I went there to get help with an Apple product, but they turned me away without looking at the problem. They told me that I should just buy a new computer… the worst part being that I didn’t go there to fix a computer.

GeekHampton has been a godsend! Twice since August they have resurrected my 6+ year old MacBook pro. Each time the diagnostic skills of their tech team(the 2 Johns, Sam and several others) were extraordinary… better than most of apple’s geniuses. John Theret’s dedication and persistence got the job done both times, saved me money and delayed the need for me to replace my MacBook until Apple came out with a model I want. East End residents have long complained about the one hour drive to the nearest Apple store. They need complain no more. GeekHampton provides all the skills and services they could ever want in an atmosphere as attractive as any apple store. Thank you for being here.

GREATADDITION to The Hamptons Sat through two of their introductory lessons and was quite impressed. Elliot was our instructor and managed to teach me a couple of things. Coming from a Mac user of almost 20 years, that’s impressive. Had a great time, they service your products and provide one-on-one lessons. Looking forward to going back and hope they will provide more advanced lessons later.

DONOT use Geek Hampton. When I dropped off my lap top that stopped working they said they could not fix it, that my hard drive was ruined and it took the WEEKS to diagnose. Terrible customer service, bad attitude and on top of it they were WRONG. I had to pay $ 100 for a lie and they tried to keep my hard drive. Thank god I took it to apple where they completely fixed my computer free of charge. these guys are bad news.

I attended a couple of the instructional classes which I found to be very helpful and full of useful information. The staff is very knowledgable as well. Great to have a one stop Apple shop on the east end!
