Jon came to my mom’s house and tuned up my bike after a long winter trapped in a snowbank — he managed to revive my rusted chain instead of replacing it, and installed a wonky poorly designed (with no install instruction) dog basket. I couldn’t have done it without him, and yesterday me and my buddy had our first (of many I’m sure) rides to the beach! Many thanks to Jon for making my ride safe for me and my dog!

Jon was easy to reach by phone and email. His work is quick, inexpensive, friendly, very competent, and offered me the chance to take my bike for a spin to make sure that I was happy before he left.
No fuss, good guy, don’t trust anyone else to do this service. He’s the guy.

I called Jon’s Bikes and scheduled an appointment to do some maintenance on my bike at my apartment in NYC. When he arrived, Jon quickly identified and explained why I was having some problems with my bike and what he would need to do to fix them.
Jon worked in a timely fashion, and when he was finished, we tested the parts of the bike he had fixed. It was a pleasure using Jon’s bikes — he was polite, clear, and respectful of the space while working inside my apartment.
I will absolutely be calling Jon’s bikes should I need any bike repair/​maintenance in the future.
