The food is not bad, basic bar food. The pib pretzels were actually great. They did have 22 neuses hanging from the ceiling which is a bit left field but hey good for them for keeping the art of neuse makimg alive in 2016. The happy hour drink and appetizer specials are priced well.

First time here. Beer is warm & service is not great. Won’t be back. We told the server our drinks were warm & he just said, «sorry what do u want me to do.» Took forever to get our drinks & it’s not even full! I can’t see this place lasting very long.

We stopped in here after the Walden Grove Senior Tribute. It was obvious that the place isn’t accustomed to being busy. We were seated after a few minutes. Although there were not many in the place, it took 10 minutes to get our drink orders in It was 25 minutes before we were asked what we would like to eat. About another 10 minutes passed and we were then told that one of the items we ordered, wasn’t available It then took another 15 minutes to place the order for the substitute item. When the food did finally arrive, it was ok tasting. Just won’t return due to very slow service

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The chicken was boiled, bland, and dry. The nachos had a tin can cafeteria taste and our waitress was rude. This place is terrible. Don’t waste your time or money visiting this dump.

What I enjoy the most when walking in here is the fun atmosphere. When you walk into a pub and they have board games in the front, that’s a great start. Meals: In a complete sense of the value; the meals here are delicious, well prepared and timely. The few varied dishes come swiftly and the waitressing is spot on. Drinks: The fact that they have innumerable drinks creates a spot to dine and definitely try something new. Being low lit and lots of T.V.s, the interesting thing is the other side of the bar opens up to the direct outside and makes for a step up welcoming restaurant. So far, I’m very pleased with the totality of the environment and food; for those that can’t give a quality review, I ponder how overly sensitive they might be or, did you even ask about correcting something that was wrong to give them a chance to fix it. Update: 17 April. I try very hard to be flexible… And forgiving. Today’s meal, on a Sunday, in the afternoon, was a complete disaster. Greeted by a ‘plump’ short lady, we barely saw her again after the iced tea order for 6. There was a large number of bikers here but the place was quiet, if not relatively dead. The bikers where in the stage of leaving when we arrived. Apparently management forgot to slot more people for Sunday. Long story short, for a party of six, we had to GOFIND our waitress a few times for basic water and tea refills, never saw her through our meal and when it DID arrive 45 minutes later, mind you now, simple sandwiches and salads! — it was less than properly prepared nor flavored. Busted. We brought two out of towers here and we’re a bit ashamed of this lack of general restaurant hospitality here. This place is hit or miss. Previously managing restaurants, I can state with assuring context, this place ‘suffers’ from poor oversight and management; period. As stated before, I’m forgiving and trying to support local businesses but Pub22, you guys need to pull your heads out of your arses and take this a bit more serious!

$ 30 for two for lunch and all it was was jalapeño chicken bowl. Missing jalapeño. Chicken supposedly grilled but was clearly frozen and microwave zapped because it was crunchy. Black beans and corn taste like the tin can. Teaspoon of guacamole and another of sour team were the highlights and clearly not house made. The instant brown rice under it all was so-so. I won’t be back. Overall it looked like vomit in a bowl.

Food and drinks are good. They change a few items in menu to keep it interesting… They need to watch out on the cleanliness though. Bathrooms are not as clean as one expects from a restaurant(sometimes they can feel and smell like a truck stop) Also, what’s up with the dirty rags for napkins? I asked for paper napkins and was told I had to bring my own because they are not allowed to give you paper. They should use cloth napkins or just plain paper towels. Anything but the rags.

This place deserves no stars. The picture below is a $ 6 kids meal at pub1922 in Sahuarita… wow! My husband and I had the pork Mac n cheese and the pasta was hard! Waitress didn’t care about our concerns but simply said I have told the manager and he says we are not like other restaurants. Never coming back. Bad service and horrible food!

I had the carnitas tacos and they were very good. The rice was a little dried out though.

When your food comes before your drinks, you have issues. This has happened both times we’ve tried this place. We won’t be back.

I can only speak to my experience at the bar, but I stopped by Pub 1922 during happy hour and it surpassed my expectations. Bars and restaurants in Sahuarita have a tendency to all seem to be a step below the quality of service and food found in the city, or they’re overpriced because there are not many options in Sahuarita. I’m pleased to say that, from my experience, Pub 1922 shirks that trend and offers affordable drinks, especially at happy hour. The bartender was friendly, quick and happy to offer advice on their drink selection. Pub 1922 also has a pretty good selection of discounted appetizers and nibbles during their happy hour. If you’re living in Rancho Sahuarita, I think this would be the perfect place to grab a few too many drinks and stumble home safely. It is within walking distance of most of the developments(save for maybe the ones close to the casino) and is affordable enough that a drunk night here won’t break the bank. Some of their house cocktails are $ 9 — $ 12 a drink but that’s really the going rate for a good house cocktail these days, the rest of the beers and well drinks are well made and priced like I’d expect most places to be in Tucson. Overall, I was impressed and satisfied with my experience. I’m glad I took the chance to check this place out, I’ll definitely be back again.

I love the flavor of the food and the ambiance! My scampi had hardly any shrimp but the pasta had a kick to it I can’t describe. The fried onions were pretty flavorful. Overall I will definitely come back!

I really want to like this place. I genuinely do. It’s essentially the only restaurant in Sahuarita and it underwhelms. The food is mostly ok at best, the draught beer is always just a little flat and has an aftertaste. No matter how many people they have working the staff seems more interested in joking with each other than ensuring the guests are taken care of. Like I said, I wish this place were better but I think having a monopoly on the market gives them no incentive to try.

Knowing this was owned by the same family that owns and operates«El Charro», I ignored the less than mediocre reviews. I was disappointed. One of the(many) bad reviews complained about the confusing menus. I laughed at that… until I had to read one. Nonetheless, we soldiered on. The«Frickles and Strings» looked promising. Unfortunately they did not live up to that promise. The fried pickles were good, but they took up only about one quarter of the tray, the rest of which was occupied by a limp pile of thinly sliced sort-of-sautéed-but-not-anywhere-nearly-fried onions that were too gooey for fingers but not substantial enough for a fork. So, the main course. There was hope yet. Until it arrived. My wife had the carnitas topped nachos. But the carnitas were a poor compromise between the real thing, and what westerners call pulled pork — which is nothing like honestly pulled pork form my home southeastern region. And the cheese was your standard, velveeta-like goo that is liquid at any temperature. She was really disappointed. I had grilled fish tacos, overloaded with some sort of corn salsa garnish, which was the only positive thing about them. The fish itself was so dry that it seriously pulled all the moisture from my mouth. I was hungry, but I honestly couldn’t even finish the first one. My daughter had the«Sir-Noran Hot Dog». She said it was what she expected, which is actually high praise from her. This place has a nice setting and a good location. Our service was adequate. But the food was just not worth having. Truly. No need for me to return. And I don’t recommend that you go.

A bit on the noisy side. One waitress had her tiny daughter running all over following her — rather dangerous and a distraction. Our service was kind of slow as the work fell on one guy. My burger was very good with a mountain of fresh french fries. For the area, they do offer good food, prepared fresh.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pub22. Being that there aren’t many restaurants in the Sahuarita area, this is a decent place to go. The atmosphere makes it a great place to grab a drink. Their indoor/outdoor bar makes a beautiful Arizona day even better. Their menu drives me crazy. It is a different format than most and it drives me crazy. It’s just not easy to read. Their food and service is hit or miss. I’ve learned not to stray far from what I know I like because I am usually disappointed. My favorites are the nachos and burgers.

We have been to this restaurant twice now. We were unhappy both times. Because of it’s location being so close to home, we thought we could learn to love it. Last time we went I did not even end up eating. They cooked my burger incorrectly and I didn’t want to wait for them to try again while the rest of my family ate. My husband did enjoy his burger despite that it was also over cooked. The kids meal is a joke.

I came here in a Saturday for lunch around 1ish with a group of 4. We were driving around after completing a Color Dash 5K race, parched and hungry, when we came across this Pub in the Sahuarita square! Décor/ambiance/cleanliness– 5 stars Food 2 – 3 stars Beer — 4 stars Service — 2 – 3 stars As a group we ordered burgers, chicken sandwich, hot dog and I had the fried fish sandwich. All of our buns were too crunchy! Too dry! The fish itself was ok but the batter was very thick. I ended up not even eating ½ my bun because it was just too much bread. The fries were pretty good but the side of coleslaw was very mayo-y and bland. Blegh. Service was ok. There weren’t very busy at all, but it seemed difficult to get the waiters’ attention.
