Cute gift shop! Liked the variety of French soaps (Pre de Provence, L’epi de Provence, among others), colognes, and lotions. Boxes of French cookies, incense, varied sizes of velveteen rabbits, and yellow rubber duckies are just a few fun items to be found at Plaza Verde, and the prices are reasonable, considering where I’m spending my vacation!

St Augustine tourist-​area stores tend to have a lot of the same… Garden decorations. Tacky T-​Shirts. Craftsy knick-​knacks that you would expect to see in your grandmother’s house next to her thimble collection.
Perhaps that is why Plaza Verde is such a nice surprise. It’s different for other stores. You can tell that they try to focus on high-​quality merchandise that you don’t see everywhere, and having a little something for everyone in the family. Even guys.
What can you find there? Candles. Provençal soaps. Stuffed animals. Pocket knives. Shaving sets. Hand-​painted tin soldiers from various local and exotic historical periods.
Everything is tastefully presented and reasonably priced, too. Very nice store, and I look forward to stopping by again.
