I popped a tire on the Vilano beach bridge and came here because it was close to my vacation home and the reviews seemed good. Boy I made the right choice. The dude I checked in with was knowledgeable and understood what I wanted. I have an old Italian racer two things happen when I bring her in, either it is a disaster were the person working on it has no idea how to work on an older bike, or they put racer tires on it, I have had the gambit… The 2nd to last place up in Fleming Island neglected to tighten the brakes, glad I always check. And the last place in Orange Park put bloody racer tires on her with no road tread, that has been a blast NOT ! I did not get many rides before the pop on the bridge … These guys sold me the proper tire a Gator something and did a fast check up and tightened her up a bit… Best service I have had in years, she rides like a dream now. I do not know what they did but whatever it was it was like magic. I found them to be really nice and helpful dudes and will return when I have logged enough miles for a tune up.

THEBIKE shop to use if you’re in St A. knowledgeable staff, fantastic service, very good bike accessory inventory. took my bike in for a «customization» of my Trek handlebars — shortening and realigning all brake handles and shifters — staff never heard of this but were able to perform and results were superb. and they’re fast. came from large metro area and this shop is equal or superior to the shops there-use them and feel confident your bike will be repaired well

Paid them good money to replace a rear brake cable on my trek. They used low grade rust able cable. I had to replace it again in a month. A big hassle. I would avoid this shop.

Excellent service! Came in to buy my mom a beach cruiser recumbent bike at the last minute and the staff was very helpful in explaining the different features of the bikes. The young mustachioed man was very nice and allowed us to take a long test ride and heck out all the different gears. We were given a great deal on the bike and accessories, free booklets of info an stickers for the kids! Definitely would go back

You just can’t go wrong here! This bike shop is great. Brandon is the best! He really helped me out the other day with bike racks/seat post and a tune up. I was living near A1A cycle works and they are good too but soooo happy to find this shop where I recently moved to.

Whose the rude guy with the moustache? He was condescending, and arrogant. Glad I’m just passing thru.

I went here back in the day. I actually brought my tire in so they could give me the right tube. Well guess what the guy sold me the wrong tube. So after figuring out it was the wrong one I brought it back. My friend had given me the right tube in the meantime. Guess what they refused to return the tube. I had paid cash and it was the same person who gave me the wrong tube. I had the receipt. He pointed to the sign that said only exchanges or something. I think this should have been an exception given the circumstances. I haven’t and won’t ever return.

I recently had a flat tire on my bike, and for some reason, I could not get the tube changed out properly, so I decided to take it to the pros. I couldn’t find any reviews on Unilocal, but I did hear about Sprockets from friends, so I decided to give ‘em a whirl, and I was very glad I did. It’s located directly off US1(The address here on Unilocal is incorrect, and I tried to have it changed, but I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about), and it’s a bit hard to get to the store itself, but you’ll see it as you pass by on the highway. I dealt with two different workers there at the store, both of whom were very polite and helpful. I dropped my bike off, explained what I wanted done, and was told it would be done within a day or two. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the tube my bike needed in stock, so it did take some time before they were able to get one shipped to the store, but they did call me on my phone to let me know everything that was going on, and as soon as it was done, they called immediately to tell me so I could come and pick it up. Overall, the repair work was very well done and exactly what I asked for, and at a pretty good price. If you need any type of repair on your bike, I highly recommend this place, even if you only have a flat and need a tube replaced. For about the same price you would pay for the tube at a store, you could have it done by the pros at Sprockets who will get it done correctly, and could almost always have it done in less than a day. The store also has a few bikes for sale and some bike accessories, and anything they don’t have, they can get. I’m pretty happy with the work they did and the price I paid, and I will definitely be back for any other problems with my bike.
