McDonald’s

A Mcdonalds cheeseburger, is a Mcdonalds cheeseburger, is a Mcdonalds cheeseburger. The same goes for a Mcmuffin, a Quarter pounder, fries, and so on and so forth. Mcdonalds generally offers a very standardized experience. Leave it to THIS McDonalds to break the expected standard. Whether it’s throwing the ingredients of a cheeseburger in a bag barely held together in the wrapper, or an egg mcmuffin so stale & with practically rotten tasting meat, or an oreo mcflurry thats not been mixed, or a manager who says he will send some coupons to make up for the poor quality but never sends them (6+ months later). I’ve never seen a McDonalds screw things up so badly, time & time & time again.

Just left the bathroom 5 minutes ago. While I was in there, I got the privilege of seeing a female manager walk in, use the bathroom and then walk out without washing her hands. So, that’s disgusting.

I must first preface that I was the only one in the drive thru.
I ordered a cup of water and a jalapeño mcchicken.
What did I get? I got a cup of water. (that was the easy part) and, somehow I got a triple cheeseburger with bacon. The receipt said jalapeño mcchicken. I know the order was at 10pm. but, give me a break.
Get it together. (but, I wouldnt put money on it)

Why am I writing a review about McDonalds you ask? It’s not so much the food. Everybody knows what Mc D’s serve and how it should taste. But it’s all about how it’s served and is it fresh? Is it hot? Were the people friendly? Did they get the order correct? I pulled in the drive thru at in Geneva 7:30pm on August 15^th. Two cars in front of me. Wanted to try the new jalapeño chicken sandwich. I ordered one, a Big Mac and a fish. This place is known for cold soggy fries, so I ordered fries with no salt. That way they make them fresh. Told them I wanted fresh from the grill so they’d make every fresh to order. Pulled up got my food and started pulling out and thought I’d better check it (they’ve screwed the orders up many times in the past). A good call since they gave me a hamburger instead of chicken. Pull up to the window and the manager was standing there. I told her what was wrong and she Said let’s see the receipt. She said give me the bag and yanked the bag from my hand. I told her the other food was going to get cold and please make it all over. I pulled up to wait and she comes out and says here. I asked her no sorry for screwing up? She said I told you I was sorry. I said no you didn’t and you have a bad attitude. She tosses the food at me and says «whatever». I called her a bitch and left. Got home and all the food and fries were ice cold. They never remade the food. This place is constant for screwing up orders. This manager should be cleaning toilets, not dealing with people. Next time I’ll go a little farther to the Saint Charles store. They do it right!

I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s for years and the restaurant is always clean and the service is outstanding. This is honestly one of the best McDonald’s in the area! I wanted to share a recent experience in the drive thru lane because the employee went above and beyond and he seriously made my day. My sister and I wanted to get a late dinner, and the guy working the drive thru lane was very helpful but he was so funny, we were cracking up the entire time! It was so refreshing to see a fast food employee sharing such positive energy with customers. I wish I could remember his name so I could request him in the drive thru next time!

I go here on the weekdays, Kyle is very friendly and so is the other lady who handles breakfast drive thru, always very fast, friendly and efficient, I would rate this store 10 stars if Unilocal would allow. Coffee is always hot and fresh.

Businesses goof up sometimes, we all do.
But what is not acceptable is when Management doesnt take responsibility to rectify the situation. I placed a drivethru order on a Sunday evening. I handed in coin change for the 59 cents on my total. The guy counted it, I then gave him my credit card to charge the dollar amount part on my total. He went ahead and charged the entire amount (neglecting the change he already took from me). I left a message for the manager describing the entire situation and asking them to get back to me. Never heard back. It is an insignificant amount of money, but it is the ethics that matter.

Rarely do I ever eat McDs. however after a long night of drinking and playing LRC, I found myself in need of some food. McDonald’s was the only place open at 3:30 a.m., and I had thrown caution to this wind by that point.
I ordered a filet o fish meal. I was charged an extra $ 0.29 for barbeque sauce for my fries. My food was hot and fresh. But it was gross. The fries were so salty that they actually hurt my throat so I didn’t finish eating them. The sandwich was okay, it’s the only thing I can eat @ McDs because I don’t eat meat… beggars can’t be choosers I guess.
Overall, this is a clean and efficient McDonald’s so I can’t give it one star. It’s just that their food is extremely unappealing to me.
