As a big open space — necessary by definition as a soccer complex — it always seems windier [and therefore cooler] than the weather at home. That could also be due to a microclimate issue, as these fields are a bit of drive from home. Abundant parking. Plenty of signs to describe the layout of the fields. Two restroom facilities. Nice little park for the non-soccer playing siblings to hang out. Not sure if the referees are part of the field, or the league, but they’ve been reasonably good. While the grass and pitch aren’t perfect, for a collection of public fields, they’re in decent shape. Also, it’s too bad that the parking doesn’t surround the field complex, as the other axiom of our experience is that my kids are typically on the fields farthest away from the parking. I shouldn’t be complaining, as the exercise is probably needed.

i like the complex as a whole. a couple of refreshment stands. as with any kids sporting event some of the parents can be a little overwhelming.
