Sonic

Came through the drive thru for a quick bite for lunch. Quick… Due to being in a hurry. I sat at the drive thru speaker for 2 – 3 minutes with no response to my attempts to order. With 4 cars behind me, I decided to just pull around. It took 3 more minutes until they finally gave the person in front of me, their order. I pull up to the window, proceed to order, then wait 4 minutes to pay, get my drink… Hey, I’m still waiting for my food. Clearly I really wanted a chili cheese dog but this is ridiculous. The teenage cashier is a sweetheart, hence the only reason for the extra star.

Do not come here if you want fast service. I only go there for their limeades, it takes them FOREVER to fill my order and get my drink.
The menu is overpriced anyhow. They need to work on being faster with service.

The food here is decent, your average sonic meal… service on the other hand is generally awful. They are extremely slow and get the order correct maybe 50% of the time. The biggest annoyance for me, however, is the majority of the time I have ordered here, I can hear people yelling and laughing in the background — maybe this has something to do with the slow service and order not being correct??? My husbands chocolate banana shake was literally vanilla ice cream in a cup — no chocolate, no banana. In addition, I didn’t pay attention to my drinks because I had 2 and I was trying to hurry to put them into my cup holders and when I got home my cup read in large red letters «do not use» with large x’s on the bottom (the drink was also wrong, too). I called to speak with a manager who told me that’s what they do when the cups get low or something??? So why would you serve this cup??? Needless to say, I did not drink it either way. From now on I’m driving across town if I want sonic.

Will be avoiding this location! The last time I went there, we ordered two cheeseburger combos. One combo had everything on the burger, the other with just ketchup. We get our order, both had everything on it. The guy was an idiot! It was rang up correctly & when he came back to get the burger he looked at the receipt & was like «oh.» Took the burger and went back inside. I started to eat my fries. He came back out with what I thought was a new burger! WRONG! It tasted fine at first but as I ate more of it, it was clear he just washed the burger off! WTF! DO NOT go to this Sonic! I don’t trust them and will never go back!

We’ve been here several times. Food is great. Service is very slow if busy. We even had them never take our order after a 3 – 4 minute wait during the dinner hour twice. We left after waiting for so long. Off busy hours, no problems.

Today, while in a bit of a hurry, I decided to stop by Sonic with an Entertainment Book coupon. I ordered two foot long coneys, getting one of the two for free. Service was good, wait was short enough, and overall I drove away with a smile.
Let me tell you this… they were pretty dang large. They would have been $ 3.35 each, so they are not quite as cheap as a gas station hot dog, but they are pretty tasty and have chili/​cheese on them.
I was full after two of them. Definitely filling; I will go again in the future.
