We did our son’s Michael Jackson themed birthday party here, and we had a great time. Toni the manager was exceptional, from day 1 I contacted her about my party, she was excellent, I had a lot of requests and she granted all of it. From Michael Jackson songs, videos and how I wanted to decorate the party she delivered. Our hosts Emma and another gentleman(sorry I forgot the name) were great. We did the cosmic party and it was a blast! We were at the lounge area and it was perfect for my big party. It’s a cool and fun place with exceptional service. We will back and definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Sharonda and Ashley were amazing to our family today. I mistakingly bought a groupon for St. Charles Bowl in Missouri and we live in St. Charles, Illinois. I brought 7 kids to St. Charles bowl in St. Charles hoping to use our Groupon. Well, when I went to redeem our coupon, it was brought to my attention that it was for the wrong location!!! Help!!! Sharonda and Ashley didn’t blink an eye and honored our Groupon and were so eager to help. How amazing! Thank you so much for your understanding and accommodations to my mistake. We will definitely be regulars here and praising Sharonda and Ashley for their service.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a pretty good size crowd here, but we were able to get a lane fairly quickly. At that time of day, it is cheaper to come here than it is to go to Brunswick and I like supporting a local business. The facility was clean, but I only saw a one-person bathroom near the front of the place. I am wondering when it gets busy if there is a line to use it. They have probably around 20 – 25 lanes and a good variety of balls to use. There is a bar and snack bar that has a good variety. All I had was a root beer float and It was a-ok with me.

My friends and I came here on Saturday afternoon. It was very busy but we got a lane right away. They have an automated scoring system, which was easy to use. The videos and music were fun, but a bit loud. Lot’s of families, and some Birthday parties going on that day. Their beer prices are great. We had pizza that was pretty good. I had the chicken wrap, it was surprisingly good, for being bowling alley food. The staff was very helpful and brought our food to the lanes. We had a good time for a few hours and the place was much cleaner than it was on our last visit a couple of years ago. We will definitely go back again.

St. Charles Bowl is a nice, local bowling alley. They only. Have 24 lanes, so it’s a smaller house, but they’ve recently added some upgrades to the scoring system and the technology to help with the entertainment. The lanes are decently reliable and when their mechanics are working, they can usually fix most problems quickly. The leagues there are pretty well filled up making open bowling not always an option. The cost of open bowling can be a bit high for the lane conditions at times, but if you go during non-peak times, it’s really affordable. Sign up for their emails to get discounts or use planit save, from the local paper, for coupons as well. The food is good, make to order. The games at the end of the house stink, but pool seems to be popular. Regardless, without too many options to bowl any longer in the area, STC Bowl is a nice spot with nice management/customer service.

The trouble you have to go through to get a pitcher of beer here is ridiculous. Not everyone is trying to break laws of underage drinking.

I stopped in with a few friends last weekend, They wanted to bowl so I tagged along. Haven’t been to this bowling alley in years. They had music videos playing on large screens over the lanes and the lights were turned down. Didn’t expect to see that at a bowling alley but it was a lot of fun and got us moving and dancing as we bowled. There were a lot of families and younger people bowling. We bought the 2 hour special with shoes and it was pretty cheap. The staff was friendly. The person where we paid put in our names for our lane as we did not know how the automatic scoring worked. But once we got to the lane it was super easy to start bowling and our scores were on the screen above us. The place was clean but we had to walk by smokers by the entrance when we walked in. There should be a no smoking sign by the door. The bar area in the back looked nice but we did not go in there. We shared a few pitchers of beer at the lane. My friend ordered a wrap with fries and it looked good. Overall we(I)had a better than expected time as I was expecting a dingy bowling alley but was a lot of fun with the music and screens. I Will definitely return for another visit.

If it wasn’t the closest place for me to bowl in a league I wouldn’t step foot in here. When I come in for practice or open bowl the place is always dirty and no control over patrons behavior here. I hate open bowling here so much that I just go and watch my kids bowl. League play is just as bad — lanes are always having some kind of problem and when do you remodel and not put some kind of desk area to write scores? Never enough space for teams to share — and the overall attitude of the place is WHOCARES. I hate bowling here — but, I like my team and being two miles from home a bonus. but seriously — spend more time and money catering to your league bowlers and not stupid useless remodeling or bar enhancements… Get lane servers that actually SERVE and are attentive — and FIXYOURMACHINES. Lane conditions vary so much. Air conditioning Is non existent and it’s either too freaking or too cold. Also, really, when you pull the oil machine off the last pair of lanes — check the approach — not once have I seen it clean or not spotted with oil. This is a family free for all kind of place not a league bowler place… which is sad since it has potential to be a good local bowling alley. but nothing every works and money is being poured into the wrong places… ’

I had my kids birthday party at this place and it was the worst experience, the party host hardly helped with anything. I had to cut my kids cake get drinks for everyone. When we needed refills she was no where to be found. I can’t believe there is one party host with 5 parties going on at the same time. I had to find someone that worked there to get the cake out. The front desk staff was bit friendly at all, everyone just seemed lazy and rude…

This is the location where my husband is in a league, and he loves it! The alley has many nice features– bar, pool tables, pinball machines, decent food, etc. The prices are pretty average, and I’ve found the service to be quite good. I would definitely recommend calling ahead if you want to be there for open bowl as they run various leagues throughout the year, and open bowl times can change a bit. The location is in decent shape, just like most bowling alleys it could probably use some updating, but it is just fine as it is. My husband will certainly continue to enjoy his league times, and I enjoy bowling for fun every once in awhile.

There has literally been only two times in my life where I’ve felt this disrespected. This is not only the worst bowling alley I’ve been to– but also the worst public establishment. The workers were staring at us because we were the last ones in the place at 11:20 pm, even though they close at 12:00. We could tell they didn’t want us there. Pathetic.

Great place for family fun. We celebrated my sons sixth birthday here after he attended a party here earlier this year. Friendly staff and yummy pizza. The kids and parents had a blast!

My friends and I are not too found of bars and we wanted to do something for New Years Eve so going bowling was the perfect plan! We paid $ 100 a lane for up to 6 bowlers which included shoes, all the games you could bowl, appetizers, campaign toast at midnight for those 21 and over of course and prizes. We were able to bowl from 10 pm to 1 am. The bowling alley was full of people but didn’t seem too crowded because you had to book a lane in advance. My friends and I were able to get 4 and a half games in during the 3 hours we had. One friend made $ 8 in prize money for getting strikes at the right time when the staff was watching. The appetizers were good. How can you go wrong with make your own nachos, mini corn dogs or mini chicken nuggets?! Around midnight we watched the countdown on the tvs around the bowling alley and toasted each other as we rang in 2013.

Had my kid’s birthday party there. $ 14.95/kid for their«best» package. After the party was in full swing, I inquired about the photos and DVDs that was promised to the kids. The staff said that they don’t do that anymore. Would have been nice to know as I was planning to include those in the goody bag. There was also a Happy Birthday announcement which I had to again ask for and that was done 10 min before the party was over. We did get pizza and pop. I am giving 2 stars because the staff was polite. They moved my party to different lanes to accommodate my large extended family who were coming later. My hostess was friendly and available. I did receive 14.95 off for my inconvenience. Of course my kid had a great time with his friends and he didn’t know the difference. However, for the price, I would have gone to FunWay in Batavia. There you can bowl, get tokens for the arcade, and go on a bumbler car ride.

I recently had my son’s 7th birthday and was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff was very helpful. Incredibly customer focused. When they felt that they took to long to get the food out(10 hungry boys were waiting!), they reduced the party price(without me complaining or asking– I thought they were fine) and even threw in the french fries that my three year old insisted on having. Décor is somewhat dated but it’s a bowling alley and really what could I have expected. So bottom line is this(for a bday party) — Staff: Great. Food: Meh(bowling alleys shouldn’t be known for great food anyway, right?). Price: Incredibly reasonable! You really do get alot for the price of the party. Plus they give you different options to pick from. Atmosphere: Dated but clean and lots of fun(we went during cosmic bowling). My son had a blast! Highly recommend.
