Went here for the first time on Friday night. Had received a $ 50 gift card and finally got around to using it. Wow! Glad we finally did! Great food, great service and great prices. Between my wife and I, we got a ½ order of their white chicken nachos, ½ order of pasta with a salad, and a 12 oz. strip steak with salad and side. All of this for under $ 50!!! Our waitress was awesome! Will definitely go back!

Went to dinner with my wife. We knew it would be busy on a Friday night and we didn’t have reservations. We checked in and was told the wait would be 35 – 40 minutes but most likely would be shorter. We went to the bar and ordered a couple drinks and an appetizer. We waited patiently but make a mental note of who was there before us and after us. The wait was getting long and I checked in at the hostess stand a few times. Now on beer #3 and still not seated. Each time I was told what number in line we were. Eventually we were down to #4. We proceeded to watch at least 6 parties get seated as we continually got passed over. When a couple who had come in at least a half hour after us was being seated I approached the coupe and the hostess and said they came in way after us and they’re being seated before us. The man said yes we did come in after you. I said I’m not upset with you and they proceeded to their table. When the hostess got back I was upset and a manager came over. He asked her why we didn’t get seated earlier? They all had a dumbfounded look on their faces. They tried to come up with some lame excuse. We left. Never to return again. Horrendous customer service.

I have been here for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The wait is never long, the service is always very good, and the food… I always order the Modiga… sometimes the chicken, other times the steak. So flavorful and perfectly made! No other place has ever compared to either dish! I highly suggest that you try either one of those dishes or at lunch, the buffet is an awesome deal… especially the white cheddar chicken nachos. Just an all-around great place. Then after, you can walk off your meal along main street St. Charles.

Great place! We enjoyed the toasted ravioli appetizer. But the best parts were the actual meals. I had the cheeseburger which was huge! It was extremely juicy and delicious. We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was equally as good. The waffle fries hit the spot! Will definitely stop here again next time we are in St. Charles.

Great lunch buffet and ½ burger special. Buffet food was as good as most restaurants entrees. Great food hot as ordered

I am a native St. Louisan, and my husband lived there for 20 years. Tony’s on Main is by far our favorite restaurant in St. Charles. The Chicken Anthony is our favorite, but everything we’ve had there is very good. We’ve since relocated to the east coast, but try to get to Tony’s whenever we’re in town.

Great steaks and great lunch buffet. I’ve been to $ 100 a person steakhouses and honestly I enjoyed steaks here more than some of the extremely high end places. The lunch buffet is a great deal and features a rotating chicken entrée as well as some of their signature items like the white cheddar chicken nachos. As with all buffets try to go here when its crowded so fresh food comes out often.

Barely two stars this time around. When we first got here(gF and I). I waited 10 mins at the bar and didn’t even get some much as a look my way to at least acknowledge me or and«I’ll be right with you sir». We just walked outside to the patio and finally got asked what we would like to drink, which took forever getting them. We order the white chicken nachos which should be called the«canned chicken of the sea with chips straight from the grocery store bag wow this sucks dish» Bad experience.

We had been wandering Main Street trying to find a place to eat. No place seemed right until we walked into Tony’s on Main Street. Up a flight of stairs you’ll find a bar and a cool patio space facing Main Street. We came at the perfect time as we were able to sit on the elevated patio space next to the bar. I’m so glad we found this place as it was a perfect day to be outside. On Tuesdays, they have $ 5 pitchers of Long Islands(which is ridiculous). We knew we would be driving in a few hours so we went with some of their other drink specials. They also have $ 3.50 wells and $ 2 domestic bottles. I had a pineapple and rum, which was good. My sister enjoyed a bottle of Bud Light Lime. I was pretty impressed with their pub food. We ordered two appetizers, which were half-off when we came. We got the white chicken nachos(white corn tortilla chips topped with a blend of melted white cheeses, chicken, and spices). We also ordered the hand breaded chicken strips(4 lightly breaded chicken strips, fried golden brown and served with waffle fries and sweet honey dijon). I thought both of them were really good. In terms of service, our server was very patient, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a place I would definitely return to try again.

13 years ago we discovered this gem, and each time we come back we are always pleased. Whether you order steak, seafood, chicken or pasta, you can’t go wrong. The quality of the steaks are worth every penny. They cook steaks to perfection, and come out very tender and juicy. The filet is my favorite. The first time I saw the steak butter I was hesitant to try it– but I’m glad I did. It’s a perfect topping for a steak and now I crave it when I have steak elsewhere. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience in the 50+ times I’ve been here over the years. The service is always good and the food is always delicious. There is often a lengthy wait on weekends but it’s worth the wait. Enjoy some drinks at the bar and relax. This is the best restaurant on Main Street.

Meh. I had heard this restaurant had great food. Party of seven indecisive patrons. Well it was just okay for me. I ordered the special, prime rib. It’s been awhile but I expected much more flavor bursting in my mouth. What i was served, just okay. After dipping in the horsey sauce the flavor jumped. Salad was on the watery side. Baked potato with sour cream and butter? Me thinks parkay type spread. My brother had a sirloin steak which he said lacked tenderness. Sides zucchini medley, good. My other brother ate up his pasta con broccoli. Sister had chicken spending. B-I-L had Blt, very nice size. Mom ate the chicken strip appetizer. She did not flinch. Service was pretty good. However my mom never was offered a coffee refill. Mom did say it was a good cup of java. I will try it again.

I was in town on business and decided to come to Tony’s for steak. We sat upstairs on the patio, which had a really cute and relaxing vibe. For appetizer we had the white chicken nachos which were delicious. If you’ve ever been to Fuzzy’s it kinda tastes alike but not as good. We had a filet(medium rare) and a ribeye(medium) both were a bit over cooked. Still very delicious and tender. The butter that it comes with it great. It was cinco de mayo so they had a bunch of drink specials. And their margaritas very pretty good as well. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I really loved the Main Street area of St. Charles.

The food was terrible. The service was great! It’s not her fault all of the steaks were cooked very poorly, they didn’t have any dessert choices or one of the sides. Salads were mostly shredded cheese. I felt like I was at a terrible chain. I had hoped for more, but I’ve realized St. Louis/St. Charles are NOT food people because I have not seen or heard of any great places.

Loved this place! Went during Christmas and they had their own Santa just for the restaurant. He was great, wandering around talking to the kids. Also had a nice spot to take pictures with him in an arm chair! No crowd so plenty of time to actually get the kids smiling! We had a group of 10 with 4 little kids. They loved it. Service was great for a group with little ones. Food was great too. Steak sandwich, pizza and tortilla salad, all yummy! So nice to have a place that is good and family friendly! It made our day! Thanks Tonys!

So, I was looking for a place to go on date night with my husband that was new to us and had good food and live music. A friend of ours suggested Tony’s on Main– also known or called Tonys on Top.(located on Main street in St. Charles) We went on a Saturday evening around 7:30, it was not crowded at all. We wanted to sit outside on the upstairs balcony, «on top» and it was a great place to sit, until it started to rain. No problem, went inside, sat at the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers. We had the full order of chicken nachos with the extra white cheese it suggests is available for an extra cost of like 3.99 or something, we also got the chicken strips and waffle fries. All the food was really good. The nachos were really really good. Our food seemed to take quite a while to come up, so we ordered another drink and a shot and our bartender/waitress gave us the shot of Patron on the house. She was very apologetic about the delay in getting our food. Once we did get served, we loved the food. Would highly recommend what we ordered. As the evening wore on, the place began to really fill up, with mainly 20 – 30 year olds doing whatever shots they could that included Red Bull(we are 40 somethings) So the band was called King Pin and I really think that given a larger venue to play in, they would have been really awesome to listen to, the problem was, this is a small venue and there didn’t appear to be a sound man controlling how loud the music was and how low the vocals were so it was really loud and you could not really hear the vocals. So, great food(appetizers) and cool place, but definitely a younger crowd later in the evening and I would definitely have to hear more music to be able to make a judgement call on the music. oh one more thing… keep in mind that this place is in St. Charles, so there is still smoking allowed, so if you don’t like being around the smoke, this might not be the place for you, unless you sit outside on the upper balcony.

I went to the restaurants on the main street, not the upstairs restaurant. First off, the entrance to the restaurant is dingy, dark, and unwelcoming. At first glance you feel like you walked in from the trendy downtown old town St. Charles main street to some divey neighborhood watering hole. It’s not till you cross over the threshold into the main dining area that it changes to a more regular dining experience. I would recommend having two entrances if possible, or somehow make it more appealing from the curb. The food was honestly only OK. I ordered the tenderloin and shrimp meal. For $ 35 I’d expect more than six shrimp and a medallion of meat. To top it off, I ordered a medium cook and was served well done. I didn’t complain because the sauce kind of saved the dish, and since I was not paying I didn’t really care(the company paid it) but I couldn’t help but think that if I were a local, I wouldn’t have felt I got my money’s worth, and for a midwestern establishment I would expect most chefs to understand what a medium cook is.

Ok, so I went here last week 1st time ever. White Chicken Nachos… OMG! I could not stop eating them, totally blew my diet that day. So worth it! The chicken is diced up within the cheese, so I appreciated being able to have chicken in each bite. I topped it off with their potato skins, which for me… also awesome! They serve them with a sour cream ranch. The atmosphere for me wasn’t a highlight, but the food is a definite winner. I’m actually thinking of going back there this weekend for the same set-up.
