Called and said they can look at the car. Came back with the estimate of 800 and that was to replace everything possible. They also said that it wont guarantee the engine wont have additional issues. Took the car to a place (another SCS shop) my family has been using and they were upfront and said the car may still have to be fixed in the future but only needs to have a couple items fixed and 240 out the door. Car is still running months later. This shows that when these mechanics make their money on how many hours they can add to the bill, your going to get situations like this. They aren’t going to be referred to my friends and family ever!
Better change your philosophy or you will be out of business.
